Quick question, aren't you driving the gt2 as you would drive the gt3? You aren't using all the meaty torque of the gt2, you always on high revs and changing up and down, there would be very little need, 3rd would had worked so much more at a lot of places. Plus if you still feel it needs a bit more grunt, catless downpipes and 997.2 turbo ic with a soft tune for the ++500 and a bigger wall of torque. Or you could just enter in 3rd and go WOT a bit before the apex and have full boost when walking out of the apex. You really look like you spent a LOT of time on NA cars. Oh, and look at a 996 gt2 dyno, between around 4800 to 7000 power is mostly flat, so ride that out. If you want to continue to do what you do and actually have dividends from it, get the breather stuff, Y pipe, plenum, Throttle body, should yield bigger top end gains, just the stuff from the 997 gt2 would be more than enough or just get your turbo reworked with lighter and bigger parts. Hope to see more of you.
So you come from gt3 cup. It's easier. Mods that will make you love even more the car (food for thought): Catless pipes, tune, turbo actuators, clutch and lightweight flywheel from the 997 gt2rs (put the pulley either from the 4.0 RS or a Harmonic Damper), and pin the coolant pipes (they will come loose and spill coolant all over (you might have had experienced this in cup cars). Suspension, you know better than I do, but look at Tractive + dsc best combo of suspension I ever drove on road and on track. Keep posting videos.
Thanks but keeping her all original (expect for the Öhlins). Car can go much faster then i can go. That's with most of the cars i have driven. The driver is the only slowing down factor. I'll get my kick out of racing my GT3 Cup and this is just for fun without wanting to push any limit.
Great car, nice driving! Stay safe!
Exciting!

you are 200% right. I race a GT3 Cup and this was actually my first time on track with the GT2. Need keep revs down all the time.
