for anyone wondering how to attach weapon to your skills on console. you have to click L3 for skill assignment while youre viewing the skill tree. from there you can toggle weapon for the arsenal selection

so can you do the Whirlwind, BUT using the dual swords?
This took me until L25 before I figured it out. The UI tells you but it is small and kind of hidden at the bottom so I missed it. Helped a bunch for anyone confused about assigning weapons to skills. Barbarian is the only class where you can do this so not as common in build videos.
I got level 75 before I learned how to check my stats and resources with L3. Same thing with the glyphs on the pb
Echoing what others have said... I love the consistency of how your class builds are laid out across different games. It makes it so easy to go from the countless number of ER build videos I have watched right into D4 build videos.
If you're having a rough time with fury gen, dual wield swords are nice. Up to 20% chance per hit to generate fury.

Tried building two barbarian up on my own got wrecked once I hit level 25+ and now there in the hall of fallen hero’s. Decided to find one of your builds, you’ve helped me through bb, ds3, er, and now Diablo 4! Hey. I'm new to Diablo and found your video trying to get my bearings on this game. You did great. I love the build. I'm almost lvl50 and still using it. I changed it up a bit. Around lvl30 something I found a peice that had a buff for call of the ancients and swapped out berserker for it. It's so overpowered, even still using legendary gear from early lvl30 into the 40s. When I hit the shouts with the ult on most bosses it melts half there health in seconds. Thank you.
Great video and great build! This made a HUGE difference! I'm only lvl 17 but this build has helped tremendously.
In the early game, I recommend using steel grasp to pull in your foes, this will stun them and can bring entire rooms on enemies straight to you, this can and will make clearing dungeons incredibly easy, getting Enhanced steel grasp also makes foes vulnerable for 3 seconds, this can increase your over all damage out put and make your life in the early game a lot easier.

I don't know why I even bother with other guides when fextra is an option. No offense to other guide creator's out there, but they just do not put enough effort into being detailed and informative and instead focus on their "persona." Hey! Always love your builds in other games so here I am with this one! So I’m about to hit level 15 and I was just curious. Are the effects on weapons passive? Cause I feel like I’m only using bludgeon for basic and slashing for core.

Why not put Leap into the empty bar slot? It doesn't use any Fury and provides some significant advantages.
Absolutely. Its also has an upgrade that provides a significant amount of fury when used. It's kinda a must IMO for most barb builds for mobility and fury generation.
Love help with a frenzy or berserker build however thank you for your vids they helped in elden ring

Lvl 13 berzerk here I've barely got anything of this build online and I am already destroyed dungeons that are at least 5+ lvls higher than me, it feel fantastic already can't wait to get it fully online and as I am normally on my necromancer the change of playstyle and gameplay is very much welcome

When it comes to the technique slot, does selecting the same weapon as the one you're using give the same boost but greater or does it always make sense to pick a technique of a weapon type you aren't using (to get the benefit from the weapon you're using + the other one)?

i like barb but i got dizzy using whirlwind on server slam on console series S, hoping there will be other good barb builds
My fun has increased exponentially after following this build.
Btw for any barb build: you want all shouts + cooldown reduction and the aspect that reduces the cooldown of shouts based on the number of enemies hit by them. This way you can have your shouts up 24/7 which is incredibly useful no matter what other abilities you are using.
EDIT: So the aspect has been ofc nerfed. Which is a shame really. But you might still be able to get there but you will need a lot of cooldown reduction on your gear. if you hit 50% you will be able to have it up 24/7 again. 30-40% should also be fine if you use steel skin as well, steel skin gives a lot of survivability as well not as much as having all 3 shouts up with the passive bonuses but it's decent.
What aspects tho. I’ve looked and I didn’t see any retaining towards cooldown reduction
@@tabisjohns5726 It seems like some aspects have to be found on legendary items. If you want to know which ones I mean, look for Robs videos. I don't think youtube will allow me to post links here. I will try with a separate reply.

"Shout Skill Cooldown Reduction: This affix will no longer appear on items."
Which is not the legendary aspect at all. That is a general affix that could appear on any item.
Apparently this is the best end game build, let’s go!!!

A point worth noting is a lot of the tooltips shown on screen are pre 0.9 patch and have been adjusted already. Hopefully they haven't completely bricked this build because they slashed War Cry's resource generation bonus from 100% total to 60% total.
Ancestral Echoes also requires you to have Call of the Ancients on your bar, which you can't pick up if you took Wrath of the Beserker. (unless you have a piece of gear that gives you +1 rank to ultimates.) I just found this out the hard way lol.
I have no interest in playing barb, I just love the class build videos.
Plan on maining Barb but definitely want to stay away from whirlwind. Hopefully they put out some alternative leveling builds.

Try out Bleed Barbarian, really tanky and More like a hit and run style

When you put an aspect on a rare it becomes legendary
how would this compare to hammer of the ancients leveling? thought about lvling with hammer then switching to ww later

Wasn’t of a fan of whirlwind when I played beta. Went for a lunge - upheaval - death strike while cousins on generating berserk which leads to bonus damage for upheaval and deathstrike

So Bleeds from the same skill stack End to End, not Overlapping, right? If I do Rend twice, i'd have Rend bleed for 10 seconds. Not 2 Rends simultaneously over 5 seconds. Correct?

I have an aspect which grants me 40% dmg bonus when a barrier is active, so instead of leap, I chose the skill that gives me barrier (forgot the name). Is it good?

I tried it out I am level 26. Maybe I am not geared enough yet I find fury starved when there there arent that many mobs to hit...
i love this build, currently level 22.
but one question: i realized that in 3-4 levels i will have basically spent all the points needed that you are showing in the skill-tree at the end of the video. but what to do with the skillpoints i get afterwards continuing towards lvl 50?
or am i not seeing something?
