A really evil dude in the lore but a support in the game that saves bronze teammates if they only know how to click the madafaking lantern
Kinda like Medic in TF2. Evil lorewise, helpful in gameplay.

He also has some theories that I believe would be great in the lore. He thinks of rather smart lore for certain champs, you are kinda underestimating him...

I think this mage thresh tortured would make a great idea or an champ , because his regenerating ability is a cool concept and it would be nice if his body would always been in an fight against the curse of the shadow idles wich tries to consume his body but his regenartion treis to fight angainst it

I think Ionia has alot of awesome lore, but that might be because some great champion lore come from that place. (Shen Zed Kayn & Jhin, Wukong, Xayah&Rakan, Rengar&Kha'zix etc)

i liked the old lore more to be honest, it gave him more reason to be a malevolent beeing in his "afterlife"
this one is just the old "evil whispers corrupt your mind" clichee we had in warcraft with Deathwing and LK (and propably even more i cant remember)
FenrisRM The thing is, Thresh was sadistic before the artifacts corrupted him. The same way Thresh torments you by the weakness in your fear and pain, he was corrupted by the voices convincing him to do so. That's what makes Thresh scary. He is not supernaturally sadistic at all, he just has an extreme case of sadism with an undead body and a way to torture you for all of eternity.
A man so twisted, the corruption of his home only made him stronger.
Thresh's lore in this video reminds me of a fan theory about a Hyrule Soldier in OoT who wished for more chaos and was later turned into the Poe Collector after Ganon corrupted Castle Town.
Thresh and the Poe Collector were both once guards. They both had dark hearts. They both had their homes corrupted by a great evil. They both survive and become physically altered. They both collect souls.

I think thresh could be a darkin, when he dies his lantern collects his soul so maybe the lantern could potentially be a darkin
I doubt it, the way I see it, its either him paying for all of the suffering he caused by being trapped in his own prison of torment, or him finally rejoining the souls he captured, torturing them for all eternity

What? you stil get ad revenue when the video is shorter than 10 minutes. The only thing the 10 minute mark does is that you can put an extra ad in the middle of the video.

When you think about it Thresh is absolutely terrifying (as far as I know) hes the only other spirit/spectre that goes beyond the Isles other than Kalista and not counting the harrowing. The only reason he does this is to torture and break someone mentally. I mean he appears in front of a man and then leaves leaving him wildly terrified so much that he leaves his family to lead thresh away only for him to take everything from him eventually catching up to him and showing him in the last moments of his life. If I saw thresh I`d probably kill myself before anything happened

Thresh is a truly disturbing character. Every time I look at him, I can't help but get goosebumps. One time, I had a nightmare where I was running from him and when I thought I was safe, I heard the chains and him saying "Found you." in a sing song voice. I nearly had a heart attack when I woke up! 😭😭😫😫

I tought that Thresh is not a bad person . Just an abandoned soul that has to take the souls of the pople who did wrong things... Well xD i was wrong
even in his 1st lore he wasn't a good guy. he was a warden that loved to torture the prisoners and his favorite tools were the chains and the hook. one day, a riot in prison occurred and the prisoners killed thresh with his favorite torturing tools. death didn't want his soul to go to waste so he resurrected him and gave him the lantern to keep torturing people and collect their souls to be tortured to eternity.
in neither stories thresh was a good person though :T
