I love it when the itsy bitsy spider theme slowly fades in. It’s stuck in my head now anytime I’m struggling with something.
This is just what a camping trip should be. Mates together having a laugh. I'm quite sure if more people did this we'd all be a lot happier, get along better and the world wouldn't be in such a mess.

Hey Trev, recently found your channel this weekend as I was looking for a 2P light hiking tent.... and dang you love that nature hike cloud up 2 🤣 So I watched a few of your vids and then I found the Lanshan 2 so binge watched a few more vids on that tent. Today I made my decision and ordered the Dark Green Cloud Up 2. Fingers crossed its a goodie. I like your vids keep them coming, fellow hiker from Australia!

It's Hound Tor Rocks carpark. Easy to find if you ping it into Google maps. And it's free, and there's a food wagon too.

Turned out to be an injector bolt, the washer was like an egg. AA gave a quick fix then got us back up and running. Got it booked in mid week 🤞

Would you recommend to upgrade from the Vik 1 to the Vik 2? Like the idea of the extra ventilation at the foot and head ends that you don't get on the Vik 1.

That vik 2 looks suspiciously similar to the Terra Nova Northern Lite 2.
But for those of us who don't warrant spending £500 on a tent its a decent affordable alternative

I havent had any issues with Ali Express. Delivery can take a while but according to others, no additional import charges.

do you use an inlay/ liner for for sleeping bag? or not to save weight?
To ne honest, I havent needed to with this sleeping bag.
I'm looking for a new lighter tent. My Vango banshee is knackering me walking the coast path! These two both look great. Which one would you go for if you had to choose one? I'm a solo camper and trying to get pack weight down but also not keen on single skin like a vik 1.
Sounds like youve almost made your choice. The cloud up 2 is about 1.75kgs and has got me through some adverse weather, and is double skinned unlike the Vik1. Good luck on the SWCP

Is the naturehike mongar 2 or the VIK 2 better for trekking for one person?
If you want to do it in cooler seasons I'd go for the mongar...
That was a great video. Next time you should try and get yourself, Nath and Stan out together. Hope Nath is getting better. Interesting to see a relatively new person to wildcamp setting up and breaking down to someone who has done it many times. It was good to see. Experience comes through.
