For the future and using Bspec in GT4, when you have the "skill issue" moments and the car goes off course, this is surprisingly due to oversteer.
Once the front tires gets warm and the rear is cold, it tries to decrease steering input to avoid sliding and it gets the understeer off course moments.
Fix? Tune the suspension towards more understeer to avoid it.

I think that's the CHAT GPT I've made a mistake I always recommend that to first car that has to be the nissan silvia k's 88 (CLASSIC SHOW ROOM)
Why? She has got an FR Driver train, a good top speed, and an excellent handling and stering.

in my testing with the 2J on the el capitan 200 miles races, with SPORT HARD TIRES, it didnt pit for 32 whole laps

It seems that ChatGPT seldom " just googles" stuff, but tries to find answers on its own. The internet is full of advice on how to play GT4 the best, but its not clear how much it uses. Iam sure a good AI would have found the Toyota RSC money glitch in seconds :)
Also just like anybody else ChatGPT cant master the B-Soec mode of a 20 year old GT game :)
I was expecting someone to have made a plugin that could have the AI actually play and control the game not just make decisions. But I guess we're still not deep into the tech to do that yet

Man, you just shun a light on a game that I've never had the opportunity to play when I was a kid because the culture pushed me towards the street racing games, but boy Oh boy WAS I MISSING A GEM.
over the last three days I piled close to 8hrs of GT4 and I didn't even have a day off.
what is it with these racing youtubers (i.e dustin eden, mrxbas, dove_7) always find a new way to make gran turismo 4 unique experience within each challenge.i mean sure eden done this but adding the chatgpt to do most of the choice is really interesting
