In my country (Malaysia). We uses this crinium leaf as herb. Cut the leaf, heat a little bit on fire to make the leaf soft and then wraps in your leg or broken ankle. We called this plant as 'Tembaga Suasa'.

Thank you for the video - We have these Lilies here in Kerala, India and so far I have seen only the ones in green leaves with the red flowers. I am sure the other varieties should be able to grow here.
Crinum Lilies are members of the Amaryllis Family . Subtropical & Tropical but a few varieties are Hardy to Zone 6 with Winter protection. These are long lived plants grown for generations in the deep south .Sometimes called Milk and Wine Lilies or Plantation Lilies . They are as easy as Daylilies to grow & most varieties are very fragrant. Bulbs can be a bit pricey but the beautiful flower shapes and colors are worth the investment.
Give them bunny manure. That's what I do. Check out my new band (Hunnitap) if interested, Live Streams coming soon on Jedi Jingle Maker (my original music TH-cam channel, please sub if not already and leave a comment, thanks!) th-cam.com/video/Hub7Rz2yyXw/w-d-xo.html
Hi, i have brought home to UK a few bulbs of the green with the white flowers, I am growing them from last March. I would ask you kindly, do you know if are winter hardy by any chance? X
The white Lily's are ok depending oh how cold of a winter you get. I call them Swamp Lily's. I'm in Central Alabama USA. We don't get snow much ever, but it gets below freezing. Mine die off in the winter but come back every year.

You are most welcome, thanks! I wonder how many varieties of giant lilies there are. I love the huge leaves, very tropical.
