Use the measurements from a long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt/sweater you already have. Add an inch or 2 unless the clothing item is already loose fitting. Measure the length and width of the back part. Same for the sleeve. Once you have your measurements, then apply the patten.

You don’t know how to start your chain closing the 1st chain.take your thread hold close to the end fold one end to ver the other hold the 2 pieces together put your needle in the hole wrap your needle pull through holding the ends pull closed that’s how you start your first chain.keep up the great work.love ve your work
