Great video my friend. I was always dreaming about this bird. I see that you dont film planes much anymore. Cars are also awesome fun. But me and Blaž always come back to planes at the end ;-) Big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Wats dis? You comment on my vido? Haha Great to see you, Pilot Robert. Such a great surprise and treat to have you watch one of my plane videos. I wish I could do more, but I just don't have enough time to film and edit them. I have a lot of flight footage of my planes, but haven't had the time to do the reviews on them. You must have the beautiful bird - The Futura V2. It's probably my favorite EDF jet and just so fast. Flies so well and lands so gracefully. Highly recommend this plane and I can't wait to see it on your channel. 🙂👍 Thank you so much for stopping by and I'll try to make more plane videos for you. I might even mention you in the next one. 😉
Vas. Excellent piloting skills bud. Good review. This plane doesn’t get the credit it deserves with so many EDFs to choose from these days. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍🇺🇸
@@AussieRCPlayground you deserve it more than most, your honest and genuine in what you do,it stands out which is why you will always survive and thrive to do as you do,top man 💘
Oh, man, I wish I didn't need a gyro, but unfortunately I am not a natural when it comes to aircraft! Your flying is amazing, I can imagine you'd love doing that all day long!
I so want to learn to fly.. we have heaps to choose but I'm terrified. I can't seem to find my orientation in the air.. I will try again tho. I love my jets.. thanks 4 sharing Vas.. what an inspiration!
I had to add 60g to the nose of mine and im running 70c CNHL G+ weighing 673g right up to that "lip" you refer too, without the noseweight the CG was 115mm approx as i found on the maiden its just that little bit too far aft, so its nice to see im not the only one who had to add noseweight to get CG. Also had to cut a hole in the underside of the canopy to fit the canopy on with the battery in. Yet to fly it again since i added the ballast to the nose-thanks a lot for going over the CG because i was wary of having to add ballast. Agree 100% on gyro's, it gives people a false sense of ability.
Thanks heaps for your feedback and I'm also glad I'm not the only one who had to add nose weight. I've seen a few other videos on this plane and no one mentions it, so glad I was able to help. 👍😊
Can you please give your opinion on the 5200 Zee battery. They are very well priced in Australia. I would appreciate your experience when using this battery on an edf. Thanks Peter.
Great video love your RC car reviews but as I also fly too this was a great review. Not sure how the land lies with yourself and horizon hobby up a review of the e-flite HAVOC Xe 80mm EDF Sport bnf would be great if possible. Cheers Keep up the great work.
Very hard to find them here. Every time they come into the country they always sell out very quickly, which means that there never much stock ordered. Then we have to wait months until the next shipment arrives. Plus, they're quite expensive, too, so it's never been in my radar to get one. I have other planes on order, but not much from E-flite at the moment, so it's unlikely I'll get the Havoc for review. Sorry.
Oh man that plane is sick. I want to get back into planes again. So glad to see your car and plane review s. So helpful 🏁😀👍.no gyro, I am with you. Dam you rip the planes to, sweet flying!!!.
Thanks man. I've tried to look for those CNHL, buy can't find anywhere locally, seems like can only get them from overseas. As for the Panthers, overpriced for Turnigy batteries these days and too heavy. They use to be pretty competitive, but not anymore.
sorry vas this is off topic and pertains to your last vid. of the mojave. Do you think the stock 8s kraton electrics will work ??? basically a max 6 and 1250kv motor. i agree the blx system is at its peak in this vehichle
I'm seriously considering using the K8S system in my Mojave in the future. It's currently installed in my Infraction, but after my first drive with it I wasn't too impressed. I think the Motor kv is just too low for a that car unless you gear it really high. The EXB Mojave will be out at some stage, so maybe if I get one of those, I'll use that system in there... 😉
i have the stock arrma 8s sitting in a box. im asking would you use them in mojave ?? i think the esc will be fine its really a max 6, but was wondering your thoughts on the 1250kv motor? Do you think its worth a shot installing or no????
@@AussieRCPlayground hi vas i have another question. i have the losi super baja rey. the new 8s was released today. but mine has a max 6 and 1200kv motor. i can run 8s on this correct???? losi told me buy the spektrum 760kv motor
Solid Review Vas. Quite a lovely EDF this thing, If only the tray under the canopy was flat. One of my flying buddies has one of these and you're spot on, on 6S she's quite a puppy to fly. Even when you get to full throttle and coming out of dives it has no nasty traits that people have to worry about. Point and shoot! Awesome colour scheme too. Goes together like the Durafly Tundra, but can fit in the boot of your car!! lol... Faaar better than the very old 70mm FMS F-4 Phantom II from the mid 2000's lol.... Unbalanced fan, the noise that thing had... jeeez!! As always mate!! Awesome Review, Hope lockdown in Vic is treating you well mate.
Sweet plane, would be extra sweet with some Fpv gear in it 😃 Do you have Fpv camera etc in anything Vas or just LOS all the time? Also did you pack & ship my small order last week & can you make the name connection 😉 (maybe you don't even deal with packing & shipping orders their though 🤔)
Interested to know where you fly. I use a reclaimed city dump at Dingley, away from roads and prying eyes of you-know-who. Also, most Melbourne councils are banning drones (any RC aircraft actually) from council land, so there goes impromptu park flying. Here's to end of lockdown, whenever that is!
None in stock at Metro Hobbies, but can order them pretty quickly. We do have the V1 in stock right now, though. FMS and Freewing are probably the best brands when it comes to PNP planes. E-flite is good also, but that's because a lot of their planes are made by FMS and they have Spektrum receivers. But they are a bit more expensive as a result...
Not to be disrespectful, but I honestly cannot see this form of hobby lasting for much longer, given the amount of regulation that gets introduced constantly, and the amount of money involved getting off the ground. Trust me, it doesn’t give me a lot of pleasure typing this, having grown up flying and marvelling at model aircraft. I hope that I am totally wrong.
In USA I fly wherever whenever I want. Never had a problem. If there are laws they are not enforced. Sorry to hear about your situation. Edit: I just try to be respectful and responsible, like I said. Never an issue.
tyler jackson we can model aircraft of this type only fly in designated areas, which usually require club membership. The alternative would be to go somewhere remote and do it, which for some can be an exercise in and of itself. Glad to hear though that you sound like you want to be a good ambassador for the hobby.
@@rsoul7282 ...Wow, sorry to hear that. I live in Georgia north of Atlanta in the far suburbs. It is common for people to find construction sites on the weekend or after hours to fly.
