Nothing better than a bbq with your family in a field. When you crack a beer open, look at them, and you realize life is great at the moment.

I just had lunch but this made me feel hungry. I bought a fire pit last week and will cook some chicken on it tonight. It is sub-zero in Scotland just now but it will be worth doing. Thank you.

I just wanted to thank you for this recipe. It is excellent, and is almost as good if you use the oven. Ive done it on my fire pit, on a grill, and in the oven. Its definitely best on oak logs but even in the oven its delicious. Two big thumbs up 👍👍

How long did it take to grill the whole bird? :O
Currently Im grilling drumsticks and it is taking a while to cook all the way through, so I ended up wrapping some in foil and letting it cook in the leftover coal :)

If I covered it? Say with an overturned pot? Might it cook fast and retain moisture ? Looks delucioso..
