you probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my gf these days :)
Hey bud fellow 7.3 owner and TH-camr :) just some food for thought, highly recommend an adjustable track bar, or a drop bracket for your current track bar. Now the truck is higher. Its putting strain on the components that keep the axle centered. Great vids man I'm glad you are with us and not a complete sell out.
i lifted my 03 f350 with a procrap lift kit 8.5 in the front and 6 in the rear a few months ago surprisingly its not a bad kit other then the nuts and bolts were trash and i used a adjustable track bar, but that was the first lift ive installed in almost 20 years and i remember lift kits being a weekend job, six pack a corner but at 42 now it took few weekends while my back and busted knuckles still hurt.
@@FixItNick will do! My brother is the guy you need to make friends with, nothing he doesn't know about Ford pickups plus he's into the old shit too he's had the same 65 fastback since we were kids doin a frame up as we speak and from looks of it i recognize the freeways you drive we live within an hour from you were up north near Yuba City lol
@@FixItNick nice. I just put the 2010 front end on my 2005 f350 dually 6.0. That style has what I think looks harder on a dually lifted. Great video!! Thanks
@@FixItNick I had just run across that same sticker on ebay last week and I ordered 2 of them. Then a couple of days ago I'm watching a vid on your channel and see that same one, I said, omgoodness, sometimes coincidences like this give me chills🥴🥴 😂😂😂👍👍
if you look at some of the older so much trucks, they do the same thing link to one side believe it or not it’s starting the engine, the torque on the starter with the engine
I just installed a 6” procomp lift kit on mine but bc it is 2wd it only went up 4” amd I had to install a 2” block on the rear and truck sits perfectly leveled and tomorow I am putting 35s and 22” wheels on it, definitely like the way the truck sits rn,
Sounds WAAAAYYYYYY better than the Prius! Laughing at myself cuz I just commented on your front leveling kit video about Sulastic springs because I didn't realize you did a lift video later.
defiantly would do the drop bracket or adjustable track bar... i would also loosen the leaf spring bolts and retorque them with the load of the truck ....or you'll have leaf spring bushing wear faster
Isaiah, hey! hey! hey! I was 348 at one time and jus bcoz I got an overweight ticket one time and jus bcoz the tag office made me license her for 2k more pounds one time... well. ok, you're right probably bcoz previous owners fat ass🤭🤣😂😂😂👍👍
Very cool! 👍 I’ve got an upgraded brake system and 4” lift in my garage waiting patiently to go on my ‘00 F250 when we get our interior upgrade done in our ‘01 F150(2011 seats in). The wife figured out the wiring, I’m doing the brackets
Awesome project Nick , Have you thought about updating the Fords frontend to a newer model. I wonder what's the newest model year you can move up to that will bolt up . If the dash is in good shape you could always use that vinyl paint for Interiors. I used it on my front bucket seats when I was in high school on my budget hotrod lol and it lasted for years without even wearing out .they looked factory black and seats were originally green .
Question for you??? I have that same truck in really nice condition and really really really want a lift about 6 inches and bigger tires to fit the wheel wells was hoping you could help me sees how we have the same truck same motor mine has 185 thousand what do i need to get so i can put six inches of height and way bigger tires???? Thats all i want higher bigger tires for more clearance help me please because i want just about what you have other then the tires i want bigger.....thanks Terry!!
Hi Nick! 😉 Great to have some fresh content. We'll done juggaling all your commitments and getting this job on the way. Really don't know how you do so much and film/edit. Funny that it's leaning so much are they all like this?.... Great to see the kiddos joining in, and Matthew supervising again👍🏻...
I have the same truck and did a full leaf spring rough country leveling kit to it like 4 months ago and mine is higher on the passenger side as well not sure why.
Was the come-a-long used just to help move the axle around to line up the bolts? Was it possible to just roll it on the jacks or too heavy? Getting ready to do the same on my Super Duty... Thanks!
Hopefully you see this, I know you installed the pro comp 4in lift, were they shorter then the stock leaf springs? I ordered the pro comp 6in part number 22610 for the front but it's way off they measure at 51" and the original springs were 55/55 1/2" any advice would be appreciated, would I have to install the rear bolts to the springs and jack em up to get the front to be where they need to set?
I think 1/2 insh is normal.. my car also the same , because normally the driver side is the most place get weight in the car life . I know my English is bad but I hope you get my point. It’s nice how you work alone in your projects 👍🏻 Good job man ..
Nice vid Nick, to bad you didn't know about the swaybar link situation before hand. Frankly I've never done one so I would have missed those too. So glad you showed it in case I ever want to do one. The one thing I was wondering about was the steering Pitman (steering) arm on the steering box. I thought since it's now 4 inches higher it would pull passenger side in since you would have pull it up. I've seen lifted trucks and they usually have a Z bend arm that drops to meet the drag link. On a side note I did go out and measure my truck for lean like your's has. Mine doesn't have it. I'm at 17" at the top of the Lockers on my wheels and with in 1/4" of 23" to the center of the pull loops coming off the frame. The back is the same. For tires I'm running some Nitto Terra Grapplers LT285/75R16's on all four. They seem to ride stiff but don't make a lot of road noise. I would check your tire pressures, and ensure both brackets are the same. The only thing I can think of is a bowed up frame on one side if the brackets are the same. If the brackets are the same measure from the frame from front to back on both sides. That should tell you if you have a bowed frame. We have the same truck except mine is an SRW not a DRW. Let me know if you need some measurements of mine. Glade to help in any way I can. Love the vids bro. keep em up. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
Thanks for the tips, I don’t think 4” lift will need a different steering link, but maybe? I’ll install my adjustable pan bar, drive a little let front settle, order blocks for rear, then gonna level truck and measure different spots
If you have a 1/2" difference you may have to go to a frame shop and have them measure the rails. One side may have a 1/4" or more sway to it. Most likely from a overload sometime in it's life or an Impact. The Sway would be easy to find and repair about 5.0 hours at a Shop. BTDT. If you have a Gooseneck hitch in it I don't remember start looking there. A message from your Favorite Pilot. It will be in the Frame Rail I am sure. Prove me wrong... You are not the only one who has had that problem. You probably already know the answer. lol
I have a 2002 f250 ccsb 4x4 and the driver side sits a little lower then the passenger side. I thought that maybe the bolt for the front of the leaf spring was loose and egging out the hole in the leaf spring bracket. Did anyone find out what causes this
You must be in feeders. Working overnight and then turning wrenches, that’s hard. I’m in feeder and currently working on my Ford Super Duty (a oil pan and gasket replacement etc). .
I don't think it's cab sag, he measured on the frame not the cab. The leaf spring brackets probably need aligning or it needs some new holes drilled. Or he may have low tire pressure.

Yes if front was not level but rear was then yes tweaked but front and rear seat same. I might take her to frame shop to check
Maybe it was in a accident that might've tweaked the frame a little

Yeah, my wife has better mind control for wiring dilemmas. I have a hard time on trailer wiring, lol
I've had several trucks both Chevy and Ford and most will lean to the driver side since the fuel take is not centered in the frame.
