  • in this video i demonstrated how to repair how to test troubleshoot & repair VCC3 Compressor dc inverter ac control board for fridge refrigerator
    it is vcc3 2 speed dc inverter compressor control board using 2 speed variable frequency drive VFD. it takes 220V AC single phase and converts it to dc and then the microprocessor inverts dc voltage in 3 phase 230 V 53 Hz to 150 Hz. so that in this way the frequency of drive voltage for compressor is varied to get DC inverter technology for energy saving and quick cooling. thermostat signal is coupled to the micro-controller using optocoupler to change the output frequency
    this circuit comprises a built-in SMPS switch mode power supply using TNY254 IC and a transformer to create 3.3V DC VCC for microprocessor. and a 6 V biasing voltage for half bridge SMPS driver IC IR2304 to drive MOSFET

    Thankyou for the tutorial. I learnt that the input voltage to the VCC is 230V. I also learnt that the control votage is 3V. In a good VCC what is the voltage at each connection to the compressor?

    my friend the igbt module maybe there are shorted diode inside thats why the output voltage drop..u can hang the output signal to ipm

      you are right. if the protection diode is short internally then at full 3 phase operation the load arrives at main capacitor so tge DC rail fuse blows up in that case. and the echo signal to the microcontroller is hang. so the microcontroller cannot generate the next stepping pulse

    HI. Thanks for your videos. These are very helpful. How and would it be practical to convert a VCC3 220VAC(2456) to 120VAC(1156)? I use the 120VAC(1156) but the 220 VAC(2456) are less expensive to buy for some reason. TIA.

    hi sir at 22:30 is using SCOPE the ONLY way to test the output of the ic? i dont have a scope can i use a multimeter instead?

    Hello Haseeb, I used a wave meter to measure 3 pins u, v, w and the results were normal. but my compressor still doesn't work, just vibrates then turns off, my compressor uses Jiaxipera, the compressor light flashes 9 times. Have you encountered this situation? I hope you will release a video about VCC3 Compressor Jiaxipera DC Inverter. Thanks

    Hi Haseeb, you are using probably isolating transformer for your scope? otherwise you can’t use Oscilloscop connected to ground without blowing fuse or demaged your scope

    Hello. Please tell me the specifications of this diode. No matter what I tried, I did not get results. zd is written on the board, which should be a zener diode. The part number on the diode is 5AY. This diode is related to the inverter board of the refrigerator compressor. Thanks

    hi , thanks for exponation , I want to tell a question . I have a board like this but in dc tension don't have 330 VDC but tension isn't stable. i get 300V 290V . there is something no working .Cold u please tell me somthing about that problem ? thank a lot

      @@HaseebElectronics is a 220 V ac , I try to replace main capacitor with another with more microfar but its the same thing , mosfet at first impression with multimetr sound like good .

      if the board have 2 capacitors, then you can use that central pins of capacitor can be grounded
      but some boards have voltage sensing line, which gives the voltage sensing a voltage divider network. in that case you have to redesign that voltage divider network to give voltage value to microcontroller

      R115(620K), R116(620K),R117(620K),R103(12K) are the divider?

      @@HaseebElectronics If I am looking at the right divider resistors R115,R116,R117,R103 then interesting - they are the same value on the 220VAC(2456) inverter as the 110VAC(1156) inverter.
      The 110VAC(1156) has 2 capacitors 820uF/200V. The 220VAC(2456) has 1 capacitor 400V/220uF.

      wonderful. done boards have this vsense pin voltage divider different than 220
      now you can modify it easily
      if the 400v/220 if
      have connection points on the board for another capacitor
      then install another 200 volt capacitor
      and take the central common point of capacitors to the bridge input line
      and modify the input circuit as the 110 volt board
