Hey guys! So this review I made a while back and after rewatching it, I think I've come across as a lot more negative than I remembered. My apologies. Ep. III is a great watch. Definitely has issues, but the good outweighs the bad. And I think I should've talked more about the good aspects here.
Never forget that our beloved Roger Ebert gave Episode III a 3.5/4 stars lol granted it’s got issues yes but it’s definitely the best prequel And now that LEGO Skywalker Saga is out, I finally was able to figure out what Hayden’s biggest acting flaw as Anakin was versus voice actor Matt Lanter - Matt does emphasis, buildup, and intonation better than Hayden. Granted yes I’m comparing a live action vs voice actor but his voice sounds is crucial to believing acting chops and emotions. And in defense of the prequel dialogue, the originals didn’t have the best dialogue either.
20:52 - 21:01 Actually, It does make sense if you think about it this way: Episode III: So uncivilized. Episode IV: An elegant weapon, of a more... Civilized age. Keep in mind, Lightsabers were in the star wars universe far longer than blasters. Not hating on any means, just pointing that out.
Interesting to note Proto Jedi started out with forced enhanced blades before lightsabers. However Mandalorians were using slug throwers (IE:Guns) during the time of the Mandalorian wars.
timmy shemeley apparently the reason Anakin fell for the trick Obi Wan pulled on him was because Anakin was trying the same thing Obi Wan did to Maul. High jump over and kill him.
27:04 Honestly, Anakin becoming Palpatine's acolyte does make some sense because: 1) He already began flirting with the Dark Side in the previous movie 2) He thinks the Jedi are corrupt based on their judgments 3)He believes his true potential has already been held back 4) Palpatine's manipulation has only enforced Anakin's idea of that 5) Not only does he want to save Padme's life, but he thinks hunting down the Jedi would do the galaxy a favor Anakin already had some strong tension between himself and the Jedi Order, with them taking him away from his mother and Mace Windu refusing to put Palpatine on trial because he is too dangerous to be left alive. He already thinks the Jedi were "evil", it's just that he now has the opportune moment to kill them, but you can still see the strain and regret in his eyes from a man who knows their is no turning back. Just like any other Force User, he is distracted from his original goal as he dives deeper into the Dark Side, being mentally and physically warped, changing his identity through the Force and destroying his life, and having nothing else to live for except to serve his emperor and to help bring "justice" across the galaxy upon those who are weak. It is a pretty tragic story about a man saving someone he isn't supposed to be married to and succumbing to the powerful effects of the most powerful Sith Lord the galaxy has ever seen. He has completely embraced the Dark Side.
Plus, Windu and the other Jedi never trusted him because of his "dangerous" emotions. Ultimately, i want to see them get their just desserts. Mostly Windu, because of what he did to Grievous.
Tyler Fish my dislike of Windu came from the fact that he never apologised to ahsoka. I’m sorry you put a 16 year old girl through hell kicked her out of the Jedi order and threw her to the wolves because of some coincidental evidence, and when she was proven innocent you don’t even have the decency to apologise to her.
DSrider THAT is the key thing that makes me almost root for him getting his self-righteous face PUMPED full of Force lightning! He was such a prick in that arc!
Joseph Misinec Yeah, didn’t the novelization for this movie reveal that Anakin swore off sleep because of the nightmares of Padmé’s death that persisted?
Fun Fact: In the original, unedited cut of the film, the Battle of Coruscant was literally *"an hour long"!* The lightsaber duel against Count Dooku was different as well, with the two Jedis getting separated from each other and Anakin facing him alone. And during the fight, Dooku reveals that he's responsible for Shmi's death via the Tusken Raiders and this makes Anakin furious. That would explain why he was easily persuaded by Palpatine to kill Dooku.
Obi-Wan doesn't need to be on the high ground, the high ground just needs to exist within the battle; Obi-Wan knows that when he has the low ground, he really has the high ground, from a certain point of view; Look at his battle record: Maul: Has low ground, wins Dooku: No high ground, loses Dooku rematch: No high ground, loses Grevious: Has low ground, wins Vader: Has high ground, wins Vader rematch: No high ground, loses Obi-Wan with the high/low ground is canonically the most powerful Jedi. This is fact. Had Yoda not denied his request to battle The Senate with typical Jedi arrogance, Obi-Wan could have defeated Palpatine in the Senate building, which housed a variety of different altitudes; this was designed so that the Chancellor could always have the moral high ground in political debates. But Obi-wan didn't fight The Senate, and Yoda soon learned that you can't cleave the Sheev in a normal 1v1. Yoda is shorter than virtually every other fighter, which gives him a permanent low-ground disadvantage; however, his saber-fighting style utilizes a flipping-heavy technique in order to negate this weakness for a temporary window. You'll notice that, as he falls from the central podium in The Senate's building, he immediately retreats, knowing that he can never hold the high ground in this duel. You'll also notice that, while training Luke, he rides on him like a mount, to gain the intellectual high ground and accelerate Luke's training. Obi-Wan's defensive Form III lightsaber style synergizes with his careful military maneuvers; as he only strikes when prepared, he can always hold the strategic high ground. You'll come to realize that Commander Cody's artillery strike failed against Obi-Wan, when hundreds of Jedi were killed in similar attacks. Cody failed to grasp the strategic situation, as the Jedi Master's elevation was superior to his by hundreds of meters, making him virtually unkillable. Had Cody taken his time and engaged the Jedi on even terrain, he could have possibly succeeded. Obi-Wan then retreated under the surface of the lake, so that he could maintain the topographical low/high ground. In RotS, you'll notice that all the Jedi killed were on level ground with the clones, thereby assuring their demise. As we all know, spinning is a good trick. However, only the Chosen one can spin outside of a starfighter. Palpatine tried spinning, but he lost due to this technique (but this was intentional, as losing gave him the emotional high ground when Anakin arrived). The reason for this is that spinning provides a yin-yang approach to combat (based in Eastern philosophy on balance), giving the spinner the high ground from above and below. Only the Chosen One can master the spin, as it is their destiny to maintain balance in the universe. This is why Obi-Wan was so emotional after defeating Vader on Mustafar; he expected to lose the high ground to the spin, but Anakin fell to the dark side and could no longer use his signature trick, becoming the very thing he swore to destroy. Anakin doesn't hate sand for the reasons he told Padme; all Jedi hate sand, as the battlefield can rapidly change between low and high ground on multiple vectors, so your perspective must be from a certain three-dimensional point of view in order to comprehend who holds the high ground. This is the only reason why Obi-Wan killed Maul in Rebels. This is also why Obi-Wan hates flying; there is no gravity in space, therefore there is no high or low ground from any frame of reference (This also negates the spinning trick). It took the Tusken Raiders years of conflict against Old Ben Kenobi to grasp his superiority in terrain advantage, as you see them visibly flee in ANH when they realize he holds the low (inverse-high) ground. Additionally, Obi-Wan's victory in the cantina against the drunkard was assured, as he held the temperamental high ground, his actions more calculated and well-thought than the alcoholic, who was so uncivilized. In ANH, Vader proves his newfound mastery by engaging Obi on perfectly even ground. However, Obi-Wan intentionally sacrifices himself on the Death Star, so that he could train Luke from a higher plane of existence, thereby giving him the metaphysical high ground. Why was Vader so invested in the construction and maintenance of the Death Star? Because he knows Obi-wan can't have the high ground if there's no ground left. As seen through the events of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan was known to be on friendly terms with Senator Organa, whose homeworld held large quantities of mountainous terrain, the perfect habitat for a Jedi Master. Grand Moff Tarkin was already in position to destroy Alderaan as a first target, as the distance from Scarif to Alderaan was too vast to reach between the escape and recapture of the Tantive IV, even at 1.0 lightspeed. Alderaan had been the initial target all along, as Obi-Wan with the high ground was the primary threat to the Death Star. How? Because a moon-sized space station would have some form of gravitational pull, thereby negating Obi-Wan's zero-gravity weakness; Obi-Wan with the perpetual high-ground in a low-orbit starfighter would easily be able to fire proton torpedoes through a ventilation shaft, although the Empire was uncertain of the specific weakness of the Death Star planned by Galen Erso (who was a good friend). In Return of the Jedi, you can see that the Throne Room contains a variety of different altitudes; Palpatine placed these there to ensure Vader's defeat. However, Sheev failed to realize that his weakness was no ground, and should have covered that useless gaping pit which does nothing. A common misconception is the idea of a 'prostrate position' version of the high ground, wherein Obi-Wan lies flat on his back, giving him tactical superiority from his point of view. However, this strategy is futile, as for the high ground to come into effect, there must be a differential between parties on both the x-axis and y-axis to a moderately significant variation from both absolutes (Angles only a Sith would deal in.). For Obi-Wan's high ground powers to have full effect, he must stand between 15 and 75 degrees (π/12 to 5π/12 radians) diagonal from his opponent(s) on any quadrant of the trigonometric circle. In conclusion, Obi-wan abuses spatial relativity and Taoist doctrine in order to always invoke his high-ground powers.
BattleUp Saber how long did this take you. This is a work of art. Forget Shakespeare the new revolutionary manipulator of the English language is battle up saber. Also get a life

Some pointers you may have missed: The first guy Sidious kills was looking behind him lmfao. Windu vs Sidious 90% of the time a stunt double was used and cgi was on his face if you look carefully. Or close up shots so Ian McDiarmid since he's old didn't need bodily functions. 39:05 Look at Obi-wan hit the air. The Darth Maul actor was moving too fast for him. 39:09 That shot of Obi Wan's was used twice. This time it was zoomed in. It's George Lucas's film making style. 39:33 one force push and the fight is over 40:32 one force push and the fight is over 40:42 one force push from obi wan and the fight is over
I honestly have no dislike towards how Padme Amidala died. Yeah, a strong woman losing the will to live as a cause of death IS bullshit, but Padme didn’t actually lose the will to live. She DID die of a broken heart. And people CAN die of broken hearts as a result of immense stress weakening heart muscles... In Padme’s case.... - She witnessed the Republic she stood and fought for turn into a militaristic tyranny - She discovered the terrifying truth that her husband is now a murderous monster - She was Force-choked by him - She has to endure the stress of giving birth to 2 twins at the same time It really was a Shakespearean death. As for Leia remembering who her REAL mother was, it still makes sense. Through the Force bond to her mother, Leia remembered “images, really. Feelings” of her mother and felt her emotions. She remembered Padme as a “kind but sad” woman. Leia’s use of the Force was more focused towards empathy and emotions, while Luke was more geared towards skill and power. That’s how Leia was able to sense Luke was in danger and rescue him. TLDR: We kinda have to read between the lines. Good review Suspect! Good to have you back!
People die of broken hearts if not medicated or at the time treated not only that but its diagnosable, now a days we would put her on a heart/lung machine until we could get her a transplant and she would be up in no time
yeah but again it comes with the issue that a perfectly healthy 20-something's just don't die of a broken heart in real life, and they certainly don't die of a broken heart having just given birth (especially in a world of extremely advanced medical capabilities). What i think Lucas should have done is that he should of had Palpatine use 'dark force magic stuff' to give Padme some sort of illness that would be slowly killing her over the course of the movie. It would make far more sense for Anakin to turn to the dark side if he was literally watching his wife slowly die before his eyes, far more than seeing some vision of her dying in childbirth (a rare way to die in modern days, let alone in the Star Wars universe). It would make more sense as to why she didn't receive any medical help - because of course the 'dark force magic stuff' can't be fixed with practical medicine. It would also give a reason for her lack of proactive-ness in this movie compared to the others (Certainly a better reason than the fact Lucas obviously didn't have much for her to do beyond get pregnant and die). Also it would just be more emotional for the character and the audience to see Padme slowly weaken. I dunno I just think Padme got a really screwed over in her ultimate demise
There's a lot of reaching here in an effort to defend shoddy writing. Padme remembers her mother and dies of a broken heart because George Lucas is a bad writer with no restraint or consistency. There's no lines to read between. And, you know to call a woman who "loses the will to live" during child birth? A shitty mom.
@@SpencieReturns George Lucas isn't a bad writer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
@@sebastiantiainen2749 True, but, as Suspect says, Ewan could've pulled off an Oscar-winning performance of grief, if Lucas had let him, and suggesting that him covering his mouth out of shock is the least convincing thing since Obi Wan found Kamino in two seconds.
Also the birth of Darth Vader could also be interpreted as a buildup, starting with the moment Anakin is christened as a Sith Lord. Anakin had just witnessed a front row demonstration of the powers of the dark side. Disobeying would’ve meant death for him and his family. He had to commit those deeds - like killing children - but you can tell on Mustafar, he is filled with shame regret about everything he’s done. Anakin relishes the power of the dark side, however, when he’s murdering the Separatist Council. His yellow eyes signify he’s become consumed and has lost himself to the dark side.

To be fair about the council sending just Obiwan to fight Grievous(who thanks to Mace wasnt as dangerous as he used to be) and Mace bringing only 3 other guys with him to fight Palpatine, is understandable consindering that most of the jedi were located in different planets do to the war. Also Mace was smart enough to bring all the council members that were aveliable at Coruscant. Also about the battle of Geonosis remember all the members of the CIS council were also present in that arena, if the jedi managed to capture them they could prevent the war from starting
About that though, there were still plenty of Jedi just hanging around the Jedi Academy (look at the Order 66 scene to see them all). Surely Mace could've taken a few of those guys. Those 3 council members were also already with Mace before Anakin speaks to him. He just took what Jedi were already with him. I think he really should've rounded up some more cavalry. Or hell, why not bring some clone troopers along? I mean they would've turned on Mace of course, but he wouldn't have known that.
The Unusual Suspect I think its because those jedi were not that strong, the fighters were probably already off Coruscant and those who were left inside the temple were padawans,younglings,librarians/lore keepers, medics etc. Plus trying to deside which ones would be the best to bring along while at the same time explaining to them what's going on would take time ,it would complicate things and cause chaos. And the thing about the clones is that they are made to obey the galactic senate and Palpatine is its head, what was Mace going to say to them? "hey guys come and help me kill your boss" they would want to see some evidence and the only thing that Mace had was Anakins words. Also holly shit thanks for answering my comment
There's actually a good reason Obi-Wan alone was sent to fight Grievous, he's an extremely defensive fighter. Obi-wan isn't actually very powerful as a Jedi, he's simply as good as he is through sheer determination and persistence, and he's aware of this, so after witnessing his master die, he resolved to master Soresu, the defensive form, which actually makes him a perfect Jedi to fight Grievous. This is simply because Grievous relies on overwhelming offence and nothing more than that to kill Jedi, Obi-wan being as defensive a fighter as he is can hold him at bay long enough to find a crack in his technique and capitalise on it. This is the basis of Obi-wan's fighting, taking whatever his enemy has until they reveal a weakness, and uses skill and precision to dispatch of his foe once he's discovered this weakness. Obi-wan is quite literally a tank, well... in the videogame sense of the word anyway, he can tank a lot of damage, but he doesn't have a giant canon that can level a building, unless you count the force anyway.
It sure is a heavily flawed film, as you yourself have managed to point out, but my goodness do I still love it! It's not a "terrible" film by any means. I mean as much as everyone literally consider it a bad film, it really does have a whole lot of effective emotional weight to it and a really entertaining pace (particularly from the middle point onwards that is). I love going back to it every now and then, and it is actually up there as one of my favourite Star Wars films. So yeah...
Okay, the majority of the flaws listed are indeed valid, I will give you that. But I will defend the high ground thing until the day I day. It is the most beautiful meme in the universe and I would not trade it for anything.
I know people say Grievous was overpowered in 2003 Clone Wars but wasn't everybody? If you tone all that down you should still have a strong grievous, but it's just stupid writing to have Windu crush Grievous's chest just before the film in which he is portrayed as a eak piece of crap and we don't see any tactical stratagems by him either. Grievous is the definition of wasted potential
Yo, thanks for bringing up the original Grievous, back when he was a badass. Love seeing that character get some credit. Great review, see you in the next one in another year! ;)
@@dereknight861 I meant the CG show, not the 2d one. If you like that show, there isn't anything wrong with that. Your allowed to like the show. Sorry for the confusion.
That show only existed in the first place to make people not hate the Prequel era as a whole. It worked, the show turned out amazing and fixed Anakin completely, but I don't think we'd have gotten it at all if Lucas had just made the Prequels, like, competent.
I think that the moment when Vader screams “NOOOOOOOOOO”, wasn’t actually him screaming that at all. I think it was him just screaming in general, with all of that pain and rage. The vocal gizmo in his helmet that boosted his speech possibly couldn’t make heads or tails of what he was uttering. So, it probably just translated it as “no”.
Great game! Just a shame there were only 3 levels and each one took 2+ hours to complete. Would have been way better if each one took about an hour and there were 10 of them.

Enough of that "feels like a actual Star Wars movie" crap! They ALL are actual Star Wars movies. The prequels are in a different time then the originals, so things are different. That nonsense statement just shows that all you prequel haters can't take change.
YTWarrior100 I do not hate the prequels i am just saying Revenge Of The Sith was the best of them I think Episode Three was the best Star Wars movies the best music scores, action scenes, visual acting, And other things.
Unusual Suspect: Aside from Ewan McGregor, John Williams, the lightsaber duels, Christopher Lee, death sticks, the Podrace scene, Order 66, the opera house scene and Natalie Portman's killer abs.....what have the prequels ever done for us? ..............They passed the Bechdal Test. Oh, shut up!
That was with no doubt one of the funniest reviews you ever done! It was totally worth the waiting! Congratulations, man! Congratulations! You deserve it!
I do think revenge of the sith is easily the best of the prequels. The story while paced poorly is great. Palpatine is the best character ever as always. The duels while flawed are good (minus 2 of them). The special effects are great for its time and in my opinion ROTS has the best score of the entire franchise.
Ok but imagine this- Say they kept the Padme-Anakin storyline, but actually implemented Anakin's lust for power. At the beginning of the movie (or better yet in AotC) we find out Padme is pregnant, and Anakin reveals this to Obi-Wan. What? AstroFiction, you're crazier than George Lucas and the Jedi! Think of this, throughout the movie, Anakin would struggle with various decisions that would end to a faster end to the clone wars. Send HIM to Utapau! Have his interactions with Obi-Wan unveil that he wants to end the war and bring "peace and prosperity" for his children, even though he knows it's wrong. Show he actually cares about the jedi, his friends, and his future family, but believes the ends justify the means. Have him ACTUALLY TELL Obi wan he wants to give his saber to his son one day, but he knows he can't ever do that because he is betraying the jedi. Obi wan is obviously forced to cast him out, and Anakin later returns as vader, (again this would be better if the former section of this starts in AotC) to decimate the jedi. We have a proper fight between them where obi wan wins, but only just barely. Maybe padme kills herself or something too to keep ani off the scent of his son (he doesnt know about leia I think)
Love this review, but a few things. 1, Anakin and Obi-wan weren’t in a public hallway; they were in the Jedi temple. Only Jedi, staff, and special visitors are allowed in there; it’s not open to the public. 2, why would Anakin get a new lightsaber immediately after turning to the Dark Side? He would have to go through the whole process of building a lightsaber, which would take a while. He and Palpatine still had work to do. It makes sense for Anakin to keep using his lightsaber until things have settled down for him and Palpatine. 3, yes, Anakin’s lightsaber was used to kill children, but the lightsaber itself didn’t do that; Anakin did. If you lay a lightsaber on a table and tell it to kill someone, will it? No. It’ll just lay there; it’s an inanimate object. What matters is the wielder, not the weapon itself. Luke and Rey can give the weapon a new reputation. 4, We’ve clearly seen that Anakin still has good in him. Luke could sense that Vader was having an inner turmoil in the original trilogy. He showed Luke mercy by not killing him in Empire. In this movie, Anakin was crying on the balcony after killing the Separatist leaders. He wasn’t proud of anything he was doing, and he knew inside that everything he was doing was wrong. I’m not saying that makes up for everything Vader did; I’m just saying that it shows he still has a level of humanity 5, while I agree with you that Yoda needing a cane should be the result of an injury, there is an explanation as to why he can move the way he does. He uses the Force to temporarily increase his dexterity and vitality. We’ve seen the Jedi do that. Yoda has to do it in order to fight with a lightsaber, because of his old age. 6, when Leia said that her mother died when she was very young, she meant her adoptive mother. Neither she nor Luke ever got to know Padme. She grew up thinking Bail Organa and his wife were her real parents
1. But they chose not to give Anakin the assignment in session. Which means they wanted as few Jedi to know about it as possible. Hence talking about it in a place where other people could be in earshot is silly. AND the Jedi temple has security cameras. We see them later in the movie. 2. But again, the saber was used to kill children. Giving Luke it is horrifying. Besides, Anakin could have used another saber. Maybe Palpatine has a spare? Easy enough to get a new one. Hell, Palpatine had been planning on turning Anakin for a while. Seems very likely he would have a new lightsaber ready for him. 3. Well gonna have to agree to disagree there. If someone gave me a weapon that was used to murder children, I would MOST CERTAINLY refuse it. 4. But think about it in a real world context. What he did is something that you just could not forgive in the real world. I don't care how much humanity he has him in; someone who has done all this DOES NOT deserve a 2nd chance. No matter what he does to make up for it. Again, it's like someone saying Hitler has humanity still in him. Er.... no. 5. Yeah, I know about that. All I'm saying is that my idea would be a SIMPLER explanation. 6. But Luke asks specifically about her "REAL" Mother. And there is nothing in the movies to suggest Leia was lied to about her true parents. True, Legends may explain this but that isn't canon.
The Unusual Suspect 1, I totally agree that they should have discussed it somewhere more private; wasn’t arguing that. I was just responding to calling it a public hallway. If you had said something along the lines of “where other people can hear you,” I wouldn’t have said anything. Maybe I was being a little too knit-picky. 2, Force users typically just have one lightsaber. There are some exceptions, of course, but they typically just have one to call their own. I doubt he would have a spare. He wouldn’t just make one for Anakin because it doesn’t work that way for Sith. In the current Darth Vader comic (which is canon), Sidious sends Vader on a mission to make a new lightsaber. The Sith are supposed to take a Kyber crystal and corrupt it with the Dark Side themselves. They make it clear, “a Sith’s crystal isn’t found; it’s taken.” Making a lightsaber for him would defeat the purpose. 3, to each their own, I guess. I personally think that a weapon can be redeemed, as long as its new wielder uses it for better reasons. 4, I’m not saying Anakin should be forgiven for what he did. Didn’t mean to imply that. Also, not trying to play Devil’s Advocate here, but the movies (as well as other Star Wars media) make it clear that Vader and Anakin are not the same person. When he became Vader, Anakin was practically dead. So you could argue that it wasn’t truly Anakin that did all that stuff; it was Vader. Again, not trying to be Devil’s Advocate; I’m just trying to be fair. 5, my bad. 6, I’ll give you that. I didn’t consider how much Organa actually told her. I hope I didn’t give you the vibe that I was trying to argue. You’re one of the best, and funniest critics ever. Keep up the good work
If building a new lightsaber takes so long, how does Palpatine get a new one for the Yoda fight so soon after Windu kicks him and he loses it out of the window? Unless Palpatine found it again but I don't see how he could.
hjpage686 Palpatine had 2 sabers. One on his person, and one hidden in a statue located in his office. Edit: We see him dual wield against Maul and Savage in TCW
Episode III was all over the place with it's tone trying to be serious then funny at the weirdest times just sets me off so much.. the dialogue is a disaster and the action scenes are overkill. It's just a bad movie overall but can see how some people may like it, def not the best star wars movie by far doh and that's not even subjective.

As much of a General Grievous fan I am (like seriously, he has one of the coolest character designs I've ever seen in my life), I cannot deny that the edited clips of him chain-smoking while coughing were hilarious! Great review Suspect! You're literally the first person I've seen on the entire internet who has given the STAR WARS Prequel Trilogy a more positive and optimistic analysis despite the film's flaws! While REVENGE OF THE SITH my personal favorite out of all the STAR WARS movies (followed closely by RETURN OF THE JEDI), you have a lot of fair and legitimate criticisms to offer, while simultaneously highlighting the film's positive elements that others blindly ignore out of a sense of pure fanboy hatred (I'm seriously sick to death of all the Prequel haters), and are really funny throughout! Keep up the great work! And here are some suggestions for potential future reviews: -Spider-Man: Homecoming -The Original Star Wars Trilogy (plus the Sequel Trilogy and Spin-offs) -The Matrix Sequels -The Dark Knight Trilogy -The X-Men films
You ever read the Revenge of the Sith novelization? It's still not great, but it gives a lot of great insight into the characters' motivations and inner struggles during a time of war. It's pretty compelling at times. I recommend you check it out.
meloncholy&macabre it’s just a novelization of the film, meaning it’s a part of the film, meaning it’s canon. It’s just further explanation, not a whole different story.
39:48 - 40:24 I feel had Count Dooku's lightsaber hadn't been curved (something I think Christopher Lee himself specifically requested if I'm not mistaken), one thing they could've done to solve this problem is that after turning to the dark side, Palpatine could've given Anakin Dooku's lightsaber (sneakily recovered during Anakin and Obi Wan's rescue) and that would've gone on to be Darth Vader's lightsaber in the original trilogy.
*Fun Life Fact:* This was actually the very first _SW_ film I had seen in cinemas, when I was 12-y.o. when I saw this. Having already seen the Original Trilogy, I was pumped to see the origins of Darth Vader and the rise of the evil Galactic Empire and the Emperor. Of course, I did feel a bit bored during the middle-act, but when I saw all the Jedi die from Order 66, I was feeling shocked and depressed, especially during the final-act, watching Anakin's downfall and transformation into Vader, and his lightsaber fight with Obi-Wan, it was both exciting and emotional for me to watch. And it was amazing to me when I finally saw Darth Vader appear in this, but I did feel baffled when he only appeared for a few minutes after all that build-up, thanks to my 12-year-old attention span. But when it ended with Owen and Beru, with baby Luke, looking out to the Twin Sunset, it made me want to immediately go home and watch the first 1977 _SW_ film, and I did. ;D But yea, this movie is flawed, but I do still like it, I love how dark it is when it focuses on Anakin Skywalker's downfall and eventual transformation into the infamous Darth Vader, and I also love the scenes that focuses on Palpatine's rise and his turning the Republic into an Empire, and amazing political thriller-esque sci-fi film where the coup d'état actually succeeds. But yea, _Revenge of the Sith_ is still a great _SW_ Prequel to watch even to this day.
“You’re about to ARREST the FUCKING DARK LORD OF THE SITH… and you take so little backup with you I can LITERALLY count them all on one hand?? FUCKING Yoda could’ve counted them all on one hand!!” 😂
You know what’s weird with the darth Vader reveal scene. The Lego version actually handled it better, simply with the music and the visuals. Kinda creepy when you think about it
Great review as always Suspect. Your voice sounds a lot smoother and outgoing in this video which I really like, as well you getting a bit more critical at points. My only issues are the jokes based on movie clip reactions (while some are funny, they tend to drag out and your natural jokes are more enjoyable, hilarious and keep the pacing swift). Other than that, keep it up!
It is I'm pretty sure, I'm not entirely sure why he thought that Hayden was looking over Natalie Portman accidentally. To me it makes sense that he was looking over at Obi-wan when she was talking to him, as he was focused on her at first and then when he notices Obi-wan in the door to the ship he looks over at him.
“Oh yes about that, due to the third-degree burns on your sack we had to cut off your balls.” “Nooooooooooooooo.” Absolute GOLD😂😂😂😂, I’ve been watching this for years and I still laugh my @$$ off and being rewinding back to this bit😂😂😂😂.
Obi-Wan should be down on his knees in tears? Did you watch any Star Wars prequel all the way through? The Jedi were supposed to be emotionally stunted, their code forbade emotional attachments, of course they come across as weird. There would be a few exceptions - Yoda has lived for centuries, we don't know much about his early life. Edit: Urgh! Yes. The melodramatic "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" at the end. Even when I was twelve, I knew that that kind of trashy melodrama was no good, even for a school play. I was playing Louis XVI and refused the indignity of yelling "NOOOOO!" when I was sentenced to execution.
I wish that Lucas had been going by Star Wars the Old Republic rules by having Darth Maul and Count Dooku have a dark side look with pale skin exposed veins and red eyes.
All the good stuff about the prequels: Some of the acting (yes there were some horrible performances but some good too like Ian Mcdiarmid, Ewen Mcgregor, Samuel L Jackson, Christopher Lee and arguably Liam Neeson) Order 66 long panning scenic shots Corruption of the Republic The new unique places and planets the more vast and lived in vibe Costumes and makeup The clone wars (in the movies and the tv series itself) Soundtrack Build up and Climax The Sith/Dark side most of the effects (just look at all the ships, planets and space segments) The action, including battles and pod racing (no criticism) The parallels to Hitlers rise (though they could have been summarized and there should have been more manipulation shown plus the consequences) The unease between the republic and the jedi. The republic blame the jedi for the war and think they should have no rights or say but yet still aid them(while you can tell its there it's not as obvious as it should have been) The irony and corruptness of the jedi (despite what they say, they don't believe in the balance of the force, their to much light side orientated so much so that they have gone down on a darker path to remove emotions and keep their power thus being blinded refusing to admit the sith are back, seen mainly through mace windu who believes himself as the chosen one) Palplatine pulling strings (again should have been made more obvious but it is cannon that he had something to do with Smi Skywalker's death and he himself killed Padme with the force, just look it up i dont have time to explain) the tragic and dark story the iconic characters (darth maul, Palplatine, Kenobi, Yoda) All of the dark presence in Anikan seen marks the end of the clone wars first epic 30 minutes of revenge of the sith space battle last minute in revenge of the sith setting up a new hope Revenge of the sith as a whole And yes the lightsaber fights, but while some see them as over choreographed there not. These are people who are supernatural, who have extraordinary abilities (the ability of the force) using it constantly through fights to jump high, strike faster, put off their opponent and to predict the near future (where their opponent is going to strike) plus they've been training this for years so it makes sense that they would be extremely efficient at it. Finally there not rated bad, Revenge of the sith is scored like 0.1% under return of the Jedi (by a combined score of pretty much all critics) and the rest of the prequels are rated decent, never under an average score of 5, most films are worse than them and there is a dedicated fan base to them which are many in numbers, probably more than the haters. But don't get me wrong, almost everyone (me included) share the opinion that the original trilogy is better (though Revenge of the sith is in a lot of peoples top 3) but that doesn't mean that the prequel trilogy is bad. Good stuff about the Force awakens: Musical score Some subplots effects noglistic feeling Kylo Ren, BB8 Chewie, Han and Rey (rey to extents she was a mary sue) last 30 seconds of it
Actually....Obi-Wan jumped down to distract the droids from the Clones. He also knew Grievous had a massive ego and was probably gonna take him out personally. In any case, the only real threat was the staff droids, which he effortlessly took out because he clearly surveyed the area beforehand which would create a challenge to Grievous. A challenge to his ego. Ergo, Grievous attacks Obi-Wan.
Once again Suspect you've absolutely knocked it out of the ball park, but then again I shouldn't expect any less from you. You've honestly given me a new look on the prequels as originally I was blind to many of their flaws until recently. I'm glad you aren't one of those people who claims they are demonic hellspawns out to ruin childhoods, instead you fairly critique the films. YOu've always been my favorite film reviewer ever since the Spider-Man reviews, maybe a bit further back. Anyways, you've greatly improved even from the great point you started out, and I definitely noticed the higher amount of critique and a better balance of jokes and criticism in this one. While I could nitpick and complain that you missed a few good scenes, the point is that you brought up the point that the prequels are really close to being good, even great films, but just miss short, with a few line changes and improved acting, these films could be a good match for the originals. Once again, thank you Suspect and keep up the good work, now matter how long it takes you always put out great content and there will always be people that will support you.
I guess Shaakti could save herself but not others Once stabbed in the chest by grievous again by Anakin Then chopped to pieces by Anakin in the Lego game Then finally killed off by galen Marek
There's a theory that Vader didn't actually say no in that one scene. What happened is he screamed in emotional agony, and the computer that amplifies his voice (his vocal cords were burned, explaining why his voice is so low after his mask is removed in Episode 6) interpreted that scream as a word, and chose "No."
I kinda like how Sidious paused, before saying Vader, as if he forgot, for a second “Hence forth, you shall be known as Darth... *subtly checks his phone* ...Vader.”

One thing regarding the end of this movie that wasn't shown in this review. Jar-Jar shows up at Padme's funeral, and I honestly feel rather sorry for him. She was the only person in the galaxy who found his goofy personality endearing, and she had her life taken away by her child slaughtering ding-dong of a husband. For all the ways Mr. Binks goofed up, even he deserved at least one friend among the infinite cosmos. Nobody could've predicted that him handing emergency powers over to Palpatine would culminate in such a tragedy.
34:37 i always thought he looked up from padme because Obi wan was standing on the ramp of the ship, and anakin could see him. Hence why he said "because of Obi wan?"
Hey guys! So this review I made a while back and after rewatching it, I think I've come across as a lot more negative than I remembered. My apologies. Ep. III is a great watch. Definitely has issues, but the good outweighs the bad. And I think I should've talked more about the good aspects here.
It's alright Suspect, no worries 👍 how are you doing btw?
Yeah
Never forget that our beloved Roger Ebert gave Episode III a 3.5/4 stars lol granted it’s got issues yes but it’s definitely the best prequel
And now that LEGO Skywalker Saga is out, I finally was able to figure out what Hayden’s biggest acting flaw as Anakin was versus voice actor Matt Lanter - Matt does emphasis, buildup, and intonation better than Hayden. Granted yes I’m comparing a live action vs voice actor but his voice sounds is crucial to believing acting chops and emotions.
And in defense of the prequel dialogue, the originals didn’t have the best dialogue either.
what's the green screen effects 0:10

Actually, It does make sense if you think about it this way:
Episode III: So uncivilized.
Episode IV: An elegant weapon, of a more... Civilized age.
Keep in mind, Lightsabers were in the star wars universe far longer than blasters.
Not hating on any means, just pointing that out.
Came to write this. It was a reference to the originals.
Obi wan is still wrong
Interesting to note Proto Jedi started out with forced enhanced blades before lightsabers. However Mandalorians were using slug throwers (IE:Guns) during the time of the Mandalorian wars.
It's like Poetry, they rhyme.
Fun fact: Grievous’ coughing was recordings of George Lucas coughing. 😂
Best line delivery in the Prequels: " You were the chosen one!"
Man that is some class acting. Hits me everytime Ewan says it.
It's over Anakin! I have the High Ground!
Obi-Wan Kenobi well i have the Higher Ground bitch
Obi? You do realize that it only worked because the surface of Mustafar is 70% volcanic SAND right?
Say that to Darth Maul when he had the high ground in episode 1 and look what happened.
Obi-Wan Kenobi what are u doing
timmy shemeley apparently the reason Anakin fell for the trick Obi Wan pulled on him was because Anakin was trying the same thing Obi Wan did to Maul. High jump over and kill him.
27:04 Honestly, Anakin becoming Palpatine's acolyte does make some sense because:
1) He already began flirting with the Dark Side in the previous movie
2) He thinks the Jedi are corrupt based on their judgments
3)He believes his true potential has already been held back
4) Palpatine's manipulation has only enforced Anakin's idea of that
5) Not only does he want to save Padme's life, but he thinks hunting down the Jedi would do the galaxy a favor
Anakin already had some strong tension between himself and the Jedi Order, with them taking him away from his mother and Mace Windu refusing to put Palpatine on trial because he is too dangerous to be left alive.
@@jordanreed3675 Anakin was also sleep deprived
Because of all the nightmares so he made a lot of shity mistakes
DSrider
THAT is the key thing that makes me almost root for him getting his self-righteous face PUMPED full of Force lightning! He was such a prick in that arc!
Joseph Misinec
Yeah, didn’t the novelization for this movie reveal that Anakin swore off sleep because of the nightmares of Padmé’s death that persisted?
Fun Fact:
In the original, unedited cut of the film, the Battle of Coruscant was literally *"an hour long"!*
The lightsaber duel against Count
Dooku was different as well, with
the two Jedis getting separated from
each other and Anakin facing him
alone. And during the fight, Dooku
reveals that he's responsible for
Shmi's death via the Tusken Raiders
and this makes Anakin furious. That
would explain why he was easily persuaded by Palpatine to kill Dooku.
Holy shit! That would've been awesome
Obi-Wan doesn't need to be on the high ground, the high ground just needs to exist within the battle; Obi-Wan knows that when he has the low ground, he really has the high ground, from a certain point of view;
Look at his battle record:
Maul: Has low ground, wins
Dooku: No high ground, loses
Dooku rematch: No high ground, loses
Grevious: Has low ground, wins
Vader: Has high ground, wins
Vader rematch: No high ground, loses
Obi-Wan with the high/low ground is canonically the most powerful Jedi.

- She witnessed the Republic she stood and fought for turn into a militaristic tyranny
- She discovered the terrifying truth that her husband is now a murderous monster
- She was Force-choked by him
- She has to endure the stress of giving birth to 2 twins at the same time
It really was a Shakespearean death.
What I find really odd is that Carrie Fisher’s mother died in a similar fashion... creepy

The Unusual Suspect
I think its because those jedi were not that strong, the fighters were probably already off Coruscant and those who were left inside the temple were padawans,younglings,librarians/lore keepers, medics etc.
Rainbow Ninja And also Obi Wan is the most experience when it comes to Grievous . He fought Grievous multiple times during the clone wars.

I love going back to it every now and then, and it is actually up there as one of my favourite Star Wars films. So yeah...

Most definitely. Ep 3 is, while flawed, closer to the quality of the original three films. I even prefer it more than TFA (or TLJ *bleh* ).
CliffFitter89 TLJ is way better than this trash
No it's terrible.
For what it's worth, I thought Grievous in THE clone wars was pretty good. Not great, but still a lot cooler than in the movie.

Whaaa your crazy, the CGI one is awesome.
That show only existed in the first place to make people not hate the Prequel era as a whole. It worked, the show turned out amazing and fixed Anakin completely, but I don't think we'd have gotten it at all if Lucas had just made the Prequels, like, competent.
handsomebrick you're incredibly wrong.
The clone wars is overrated
I think that the moment when Vader screams “NOOOOOOOOOO”, wasn’t actually him screaming that at all. I think it was him just screaming in general, with all of that pain and rage. The vocal gizmo in his helmet that boosted his speech possibly couldn’t make heads or tails of what he was uttering. So, it probably just translated it as “no”.
The prequels also gave us Republic Commando!
Book & Game or just.... Game? I remember the book being pretty good.
And it gave us Star Wars Battlefront (the real ones not the pay2win ones)
Great game! Just a shame there were only 3 levels and each one took 2+ hours to complete. Would have been way better if each one took about an hour and there were 10 of them.
So this is the first comment where Attack of the Clones is ranked. Wow, that was a lot of scrolling.
Attack of the Clones is ranked this comment. I'm glad you didn't comment "first", otherwise you'd be a twat.
I just realized that Anikens forced dark side turn was probably because the original 4 hour cut became 2 hours and 30 minutes
My life is now completed
ΝΙΚΟΣ ΝΙΚΟΣ what does that mean
ΝΙΚΟΣ ΝΙΚΟΣ There's still Rogue One, the original trilogy and The Force Awakens. Don't forget that The Last Jedi will be on blu ray by about Episode V, I'm guessing? So therefore, your life is not complete.

Honestly the unusual suspect should just direct Star Wars I mean I can't go against anything he says lol.
33:10 "Zack Snyder that sucker!"
- The Unusual Suspect, 2017
Then after Justice League was released, Snyder seemed like less of a joke among the audiences.
@@EricGraham94 how? Justice league wasn't what I'd call great
@@ogjohnston05 Yeah that's the point. Because Joss Whedon reshot a lot of it. So all of a sudden audiences were clamoring for Zack Snyder's original vision as if they suddenly love him now. Look up all the commotion about the "Snyder Cut"
Who needs Zack Snyder's Batman when we got TIM BURTON's Batman?
@@topherholland4646 dude Burton’s Batman was the first Batman movie to showcase Batman being a relentless killer. How is it that killing in the Burton movies is fine, yet when Affleck kills, everyone loses their mind?
Episode Three feels like a actual Star Wars Movie
Enough of that "feels like a actual Star Wars movie" crap! They ALL are actual Star Wars movies. The prequels are in a different time then the originals, so things are different. That nonsense statement just shows that all you prequel haters can't take change.
YTWarrior100 I do not hate the prequels i am just saying Revenge Of The Sith was the best of them I think Episode Three was the best Star Wars movies the best music scores, action scenes, visual acting, And other things.
Episode 3 makes you feel like Batman.

That was with no doubt one of the funniest reviews you ever done! It was totally worth the waiting! Congratulations, man! Congratulations! You deserve it!
Thanks so much! :D

Memes, the most valuable treasure in the universe.
I’m not saying that makes up for everything Vader did; I’m just saying that it shows he still has a level of humanity
5, while I agree with you that Yoda needing a cane should be the result of an injury, there is an explanation as to why he can move the way he does.
The Unusual Suspect
1, I totally agree that they should have discussed it somewhere more private; wasn’t arguing that.
Keep up the good work
5. Leia's adoptive mother died on Alderaan along with Bail when the Death Star fired
Personality, Star Wars III, is both my favorite of the Star Wars prequels, as well as it might being my personal favorite Star Wars movie.
Omnicidal Clown agreed! And although acting was bad at times, and the romanced sucked, I actually loved the action scenes in Attack of the Clones
Same.
TRIGGERED!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING IS SUBJECTIVE GOD DAMMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING IS TRULY OBJECTIVE!!!!!!! For the record I love ROTS and not so much TFA byt I can see both sides of each argument (just thought I'd say that)
Tidus Caelum Revenge of the Sith is not a bad movie, that’s all your opinion.
Here's a joke you should've made: Mace fell out of the Windu!
About the part in Clone Wars where Grievous takes on the Jedi, he only kills three of them. Aalya Secura (Blue chick) and Shaak Ti (red chick) survived but would have died from their injuries had the clones not shown up. I apologize if I offended with this, I just felt I should correct that. But that aside excellent review. Keep up the great work
Well, I meant to say that it was 'assumed' they died. That's what I thought at first before the next chapter reveals some survived.
The Unusual Suspect ah ok that makes sense. Sorry again btw
Agent Silver518 2.0 Aku!
Agent Silver518 2.0 he also killed the talz and ithorian from the cantina.
And I’ve heard that the one Jedi covered in fur survived. He slipped into a coma in order to heal.
And here are some suggestions for potential future reviews:
-Spider-Man: Homecoming
-The Original Star Wars Trilogy (plus the Sequel Trilogy and Spin-offs)
-The Matrix Sequels
-The Dark Knight Trilogy
-The X-Men films
This guy's a comedic king.
You ever read the Revenge of the Sith novelization? It's still not great, but it gives a lot of great insight into the characters' motivations and inner struggles during a time of war. It's pretty compelling at times. I recommend you check it out.
Connor Veenstra also grevious is still kind of a boss like that scene where he breaks the nemodiens neck for trying to retreat.
It's not canon anymore
meloncholy&macabre it’s just a novelization of the film, meaning it’s a part of the film, meaning it’s canon. It’s just further explanation, not a whole different story.
That surgery table Sidious had Vader on is basically about as functional as the door to my garage :P
39:48 - 40:24
I feel had Count Dooku's lightsaber hadn't been curved (something I think Christopher Lee himself specifically requested if I'm not mistaken), one thing they could've done to solve this problem is that after turning to the dark side, Palpatine could've given Anakin Dooku's lightsaber (sneakily recovered during Anakin and Obi Wan's rescue) and that would've gone on to be Darth Vader's lightsaber in the original trilogy.
Dooku's lightsaber would not have been a good fit considering Anakin's fighting style
Anakin's trigger word is "DEW IT"
*Fun Life Fact:* This was actually the very first _SW_ film I had seen in cinemas, when I was 12-y.o. when I saw this.
But when it ended with Owen and Beru, with baby Luke, looking out to the Twin Sunset, it made me want to immediately go home and watch the first 1977 _SW_ film, and I did. ;D
But yea, this movie is flawed, but I do still like it, I love how dark it is when it focuses on Anakin Skywalker's downfall and eventual transformation into the infamous Darth Vader, and I also love the scenes that focuses on Palpatine's rise and his turning the Republic into an Empire, and amazing political thriller-esque sci-fi film where the coup d'état actually succeeds. But yea, _Revenge of the Sith_ is still a great _SW_ Prequel to watch even to this day.
You’re the best Suspect, I love the work you put into each video it’s always worth the wait.
Kinda creepy when you think about it
Dylan Sharp the original lego Star Wars back on PS2
In a new hope, obi wan describes the lightsaber as "an elegant weapon, for a more civilized age". The "so uncivilized" calls back to that
You didn't talk anything about the clones.Their armor is badass and prequels are good for giving them to us.
19:19 This Obi Wan edit is just hilarious.
Sauraman lasts 5 minutes in Return of the Jedi.
Dooku lasts 10 minutes in Revenge of the Sith

I always thought that the scene where Anakin is looking over Padmé was him looking at Obi-Wan...
It was a joke
Can't be the only one who finds the irony in the fact that after this review, love for the Prequels basically skyrocketed
Good....gooood....let the review flow through you
“Oh yes about that, due to the third-degree burns on your sack we had to cut off your balls.”
“Nooooooooooooooo.”
Absolute GOLD😂😂😂😂, I’ve been watching this for years and I still laugh my @$$ off and being rewinding back to this bit😂😂😂😂.
Now we need rouge one and the force awakens.
To be honest, The Unusual Suspect is my faviourte youtuber
Joshua 'TheTrueMaster' Baptista same!
I agree
I wish that Lucas had been going by Star Wars the Old Republic rules by having Darth Maul and Count Dooku have a dark side look with pale skin exposed veins and red eyes.
All the good stuff about the prequels:
Some of the acting (yes there were some horrible performances but some good too like Ian Mcdiarmid, Ewen Mcgregor, Samuel L Jackson, Christopher Lee and arguably Liam Neeson)
Order 66
long panning scenic shots
Corruption of the Republic
The new unique places and planets
the more vast and lived in vibe
Costumes and makeup
The clone wars (in the movies and the tv series itself)
Soundtrack
Build up and Climax
The Sith/Dark side
most of the effects (just look at all the ships, planets and space segments)
The action, including battles and pod racing (no criticism)
The parallels to Hitlers rise (though they could have been summarized and there should have been more manipulation shown plus the consequences)
The unease between the republic and the jedi. The republic blame the jedi for the war and think they should have no rights or say but yet still aid them(while you can tell its there it's not as obvious as it should have been)
The irony and corruptness of the jedi (despite what they say, they don't believe in the balance of the force, their to much light side orientated so much so that they have gone down on a darker path to remove emotions and keep their power thus being blinded refusing to admit the sith are back, seen mainly through mace windu who believes himself as the chosen one)
Palplatine pulling strings (again should have been made more obvious but it is cannon that he had something to do with Smi Skywalker's death and he himself killed Padme with the force, just look it up i dont have time to explain)
the tragic and dark story
the iconic characters (darth maul, Palplatine, Kenobi, Yoda)
All of the dark presence in Anikan seen
marks the end of the clone wars
first epic 30 minutes of revenge of the sith space battle
last minute in revenge of the sith setting up a new hope
Revenge of the sith as a whole
And yes the lightsaber fights, but while some see them as over choreographed there not.
Good stuff about the Force awakens:
Musical score
Some subplots
effects
noglistic feeling
Kylo Ren, BB8 Chewie, Han and Rey (rey to extents she was a mary sue)
last 30 seconds of it
@TheDestroyer2alltrolls eh your opinion as much as the OPs comment was
Actually....Obi-Wan jumped down to distract the droids from the Clones.
When he said that Plaguies couldn't save himself was because he was killed and didn't have time saving himself.
I guess Shaakti could save herself but not others
Once stabbed in the chest by grievous again by Anakin
Then chopped to pieces by Anakin in the Lego game
Then finally killed off by galen Marek
There's a theory that Vader didn't actually say no in that one scene. What happened is he screamed in emotional agony, and the computer that amplifies his voice (his vocal cords were burned, explaining why his voice is so low after his mask is removed in Episode 6) interpreted that scream as a word, and chose "No."
AJW that's some dumb fan fic
I kinda like how Sidious paused, before saying Vader, as if he forgot, for a second
“Hence forth, you shall be known as Darth...
*subtly checks his phone*
...Vader.”

Old Ben: here is your father gun that was used in a school shooting
Luke: •_•
34:37 i always thought he looked up from padme because Obi wan was standing on the ramp of the ship, and anakin could see him. Hence why he said "because of Obi wan?"

Yeees... that Life of Brian intro
This video is amazing, it's funny, it's well edited, it's well shot . Good job !
Wow.
No other Star Wars reviewer thought about how weird it would be to give Luke that lightsaber.
Many inconsistencies, prequels have made.
That thumbnail though. LMFAO 😅😅😅

Admit it, without this movie we wouldn’t have r/prequelmemes
Another good thing about the prequels magnaguards
ps waffles39 The CIS in general is great, dude. Droidekas are where it's at!
FeatherFiend Alex I really just liked how they could defend a lightsaber it made the sith and Jedi not seem overpowered.
To be fair with regards to the "do it" convincing, one can assume Palpatine was using some pretty heavy force suggestion to go with it.
