Hello my friend, I would say that as of now 3 people is just enough for the Reclaimer. Here is what I do : A pilot that switches between pilot seat and one of the two turrets. On guy full time on the 2nd turret. And a third at the processing station to manages the crates. That's totally enough. If we need a 4th person, we prefer him to be for example in a Vulture so he can scout derelicts more easily and start salvaging small parts founds before the Reclaimer can jump on the Vulture and manage the bigger stuff.
@@Sairblan sounds like fun! If you ever need anyone then I’d be happy to join my friend! I love salvaging and I have both the Vulture and the Reclaimer.

I have a Starfarer (I am CCU chaining toward a Reclaimer) for almost a year and at first it was a pain to fly BUT after a while and practice (like any other ship) I learn to fly my Starfarer with ease (I can even fly her like a Dropship) and I did try a Reclaimer a few days ago and she was easy to fly after all this time flying my Starfarer. So yeah if you go from a fighter to a Reclaimer HUGE flight difference. Nice thing about SC is each ship takes time to learn what it can/cannot do :) .
Hey Aaron ! I have yet to try the Starfarer myself but I heard it does fly like a brick so if you became a Starfarer expert then no doubt flying the Reclaimer was a piece of cake for you haha ! I agree with you that SC ships and flight feel are very unique and that is one of the reasons I love this game so much. Do you fly with keyboard & mouse or with HOTAS / HOSAS ? Fly safe !
I do Industry side of gameplay/loops for SC so I use a Keyboard/Mouse when I do SC since it is alot easier for me so I have more shortcuts/binds than on a controler or Hotas/Hosas (plus I do not have that much space on my small desk for the Hotas/Hosas LOL).@@Sairblan
I play with HOSAS and it's true that my first T16000 were lacking buttons so I get you here, and my desk looks more like a sim-pit than a desk for working, that's for sure :D I love HOSAS for immersion but keyboard/mouse is absolutely fine ! @@AaronJohnson1969
the reclaimer is my nightmare ship... I've never not made it to the landing pad, but i have skipped off the ground by it a few times... the vulture is much more of a relaxing salvage operation EDIT: nice indepth tutorial!
xD.... still some glitches and I don't know if you experienced the elevator nightmare that was not working for ages but now overall it's working fine^^ This ship is very fun when you play with friends and I don't know if you follow 'Inside Star Citizen' weekly episodes but they are working on ship munching concept (at a very early stage) so I have good hopes this comes to us in the near future (few months or a year ?). Sadly they already said the Reclaimer front claw would need a rework to work for munching... but hey... this is Star Citizen isn't it ? 🤣
@@Sairblan She really is, I can't wait till they finally update the ship and make it able to dock with stations. Have you encountered the "trespassing" warning when salvaging wrecks you find in the black (without the missions)
@@Idolismo no I didn't face this issue. What is it and what are the consequences of it ? I love the Reclaimer but you can see it's an old ship design that will need a rework. Many rooms seems not well thought after, and overall the ship is quite glitchy despite it is usable as for now (I'm talking about the elevator that was not working for ages, making the ship useless :D). I can't wait for CIG to fix all the little issues still remaining
@@Sairblan Basically if you fly to a area where the salvage mission wrecks spawn and don"t have the mission for it the game attributes that as trespassing. The consequence is getting a crime stat I would think. Yeah Reclaimer has its own ghosts for sure :D
Took salvage missions worth 80k and 250k. They don't create boxes, the lasers just keep striping the hull, you then get the mission payout once 100% stripped. I wonder, can you strip one of your own ships ?
you can but "players" ships don't give much material last time I checked ! I think they did this as a temporary solution to prevent players to spawn their own ship to salvage them
Elevators have been problematic for a long time but it's supposed to be fixed. Maybe server issue ? Sometimes it's good to spawn a new one when yours has too much problems :)
Its a whole city! Do someone know are in SC will be implemented NPC with option ho hire them. For be a part of your team for Solo? Turrets drones, operators etc etc. I remember maybe 4-6 years ago there was such info. Thanks!
hey mate ! yes it's still their plan as we know it. You are supposed to be able to hire NPC crew in the future but they won't be as good as players. We saw, for example, some UI designs showing that you can recruit NPC to load/unload your cargo, etc. For turrets, you are supposed to be able to use server blades / computers that may be able to shoot etc. We still don't have much info yet though and everything is subject to change ofc :)
cargo hold has a cargo grid. also cool trick for the chute in the back + the divide by 2000 thing
Hello @mndeg ! Thx for clarification regarding the cargo hold ! Much appreciated :)
Nice video of the reclaimer, I understand you need at least a crew of three to operate it properly.

Un grand merci pour tes supers tips pour ce vaisseau, notamment l'astuce des 2000 avec le scanner, très intéressant !! :)
Hello Gauthier ! Heureux que ça te soit utile ;)
excellent guide. thank you
Mah man. Great vid. Been holding my reclaimer since 2016 and thinking it's TIME. 😂

@@Idolismo Really. I might try that but that sucks xD
The EPTU dropped today and the claw is finally usable, and the reclaimer is gonna be able to make 16 SCU crates inside of it, which is really cool
That's great! I don't have access to ptu so far but I'll cover it in video as soon as I can :)
Very good information. Thanks for this!
Well lets say my landing nightmare ship is in this video xD
Hahaha 😂

Bel accent on reconnait les fr^^ , en tout cas elle est top ta vidéo :) sa ma donner envie de lancé mon reclaimer
Hehehe, et oui l'accent frenglish est bien là !!! 😂😅
Yes ouioui baguette ! Sérieusement, super vidéo mec@@Sairblan
given you can't stack the salvage boxes how many can you 'grid' in the salvagae area? I assume not that much without stacking
I need to check but I think it's something like about 4 times 30scu or something like that If I reckon well.
I'm getting air attendant vibes here. Are you air crew for Air France IRL? 😋
At a younger age I wished I could be a pilot but unfortunetaly had to follow a different career path hahahaha !
On mine elevator kinda bugged out, and salvage mode didnt work also
