Here in México the government doesn’t issue titles instead we have “facturas” which is like a bill of sale and it can be issued by pretty much any business that pays taxes. I want to make a few notes on buying a Mexican vehicle: -Mexico don’t issue titles , they give you an invoice for the vehicle. They call it “Factura” the price for the vehicle can be any , usually people like to show a lower price on there because you want to pay less taxes. That document is the most important piece of documentation proving the ownership of the vehicle in Mexico. -Now it is an important note in this deal, the F1 was imported used to Mexico. That vehicle should have the “Pedimento” and an invoice from the importer. The only way that vehicle has a Mexican Factura from McLaren is if they bought the car directly from a McLaren dealer in Mexico. Otherwise there should be the invoice from the imported. That’s only if the car was legally imported to Mexico. - We Mexicans like to make deals with Money, car and documentation. We usually have the 3 during a transaction, usually we don’t ask for a deposit , we want cash at the moment of the deal and you can have the car and documents right away. That’s how most privet deals are done there.
