  • How to Shrimp: Learn Shrimping from Locals. Powerful DIY Shrimping Tips. Shrimping made easy, here are some How to Shrimp basics. We love catching shrimp to eat and also for bait. Shrimp is the number one bait used fishing in the saltwater. We are local to Jacksonville Florida and love the Mayport Shrimp. Catching shrimp is fun and really rewarding. We caught enough Shrimp to fill a half a 5 gallon bucket. Remember when Shrimping you can only catch one five gallon bucket per person from the shore. We stored our shrimp using a new machine from meat your maker. Professional grade food saving brought by Meat Your Maker.
Everything we teach will help you become the best shrimper you can become. Shrimping should be fun and we are hoping to help people enjoy every time you go out.

Hey Chip. Great piece of information for sure. Can they be caught in a trap or do ya have to net them? Thanks for the 2 awesome sinkers ya gave me in Navarre. I’ve since bought more and have given 2 of them away just to pay it forward. Great Sputnik weights. They hold tight.

Cast netting is the best way to catch them. But you can drag the bottom also to catch them. I appreciate you sharing about our sinkers and also paying it forward. I will be coming back that way soon.
