    I made this fudge plain
Then made it with nuts then made it with dark choc and marshmallows and cherries every body loved it so silky so tasty and oh so easy it also stores so much better than other quick fudge as well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Awesome! I think nuts, or dark chocolate with marshmallows and cherries, all sound delicious. This is definitely a good base recipe that you can tweak in a lot of ways--and like you said, it stores very well, too.
Thanks for the positive feedback! 👨‍🍳😀

You're welcome, Nancy! I'm glad you found my video helpful. Another batch with butterscotch and peanut butter chips sounds amazing.
I also recommend the peanut butter white chocolate fudge recipe I have here on my channel--it's delicious and easy to make as well.
Have a great rest of your weekend! 👨‍🍳😀

Your fudge looks so good, Parnell! I prefer white fudge to chocolate fudge. I always make mine in a baking dish, but next time I'll have to try making it in a loaf pan. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Parnell!! I made this at Christmas and it was so good! Isn't it amazing how you only need 2 ingredients? Yes you are right, you need to move quickly because it hardens up so fast! Turns out so creamy right?

    Hi Chef Parnell,
That looks amazing! Its so easy to make and it yummmm. Wow so glad it came out scrumptious.
Definitely, I will be making this recipe.
I love nuts and what did you think about chopped pecans or walnuts?
Do you think taking a few pieces and freezing them?
Thanks a million for this quick and so so good tasting fudge. The color doesn’t bother me at all.
I’ll be bringing this along with last weeks raspberry for a dessert 4th of July.
Maybe a few red, white and blue sprinkles on top to add a festive look for the holiday.
You take care and have a wonderful holiday; celebrate and have fun.
    Will see you Monday. 🍉🎉🇺🇸😊

      Hi, Kathy!
Glad to hear that you'll be making this fudge. I think you could definitely add chopped pecans or walnuts. As for freezing, I think it would work perfectly--I've frozen other types of fudge before.
I could definitely see this next to the raspberry dump cake for the 4th of July--and the sprinkles would be the perfect finishing touch.
      See you next Monday!👨‍🍳😀

Hi@@ParnellTheChef .. did it! It was GREAT! ... my slight alterations... used almond bark squares as I didn't have the chips on hand but same thing (11 oz), used 1 tsp. maple extract, nuked the squares 15 sec to soften then added the sweetened milk and salt and in my mirco took 75 seconds (stir after 30 and 60 seconds) It is now in the frig but setup nicely and tasted the spoon mmmmmm Thanks so much for the recipe!

@@brianmurphy4702 I'm so glad everything worked out. Now I'm curious about the almond bark, so I'll have to try the recipe again with that ingredient.
Once again, thanks for letting me know that it turned out well. I'm sure it will be amazing once it hardens. Happy Holidays! 👍👨‍🍳❄🎁

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I went by the recipe exactly and it would not set. It was too soft and gummy. I know I must be doing something wrong but can't figure out what it is. Even freezing this, it is still very soft, more like taffy. Any suggestions? Is there some way I can fix this maybe by re-cooking and adding more chocolate?

    • @ParnellTheChef
      @ParnellTheChef  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi!
Sorry to hear that the recipe isn't working out for you. I'm not quite sure what happened. My guess is that maybe it didn't get hot enough in the microwave. I would try putting it back into the microwave until it melts (you might have to add some evaporated milk so it doesn't burn), then try letting it set again.
Did you use a high-quality white chocolate? If not, that might have something to do with your results.
First, I would try reheating it. If that doesn't work, I would try the recipe again with a higher-quality white chocolate.
Let me know how that works! 👨‍🍳😀

Update and warning on my alterations for this recipe... read the reply below to my earlier post... DO NOT Do what I DID ... I substituted white almond bark for the white chips thinking they would be the same.... boy was I wrong!!! Even after being in the freezer for 2 hours it still was goo ... arrrghh It tasted wonderful BUT it can only be eaten with a spoon... so sad... I am sure this is a great recipe IF you follow it :)

      Hi again, Brian
I'm sorry to hear that your fudge didn't work out. Good to know that white almond bark can't be used in this recipe. It's always good when my followers try my recipes and make adjustments and then report back in the comments section--that way other people know what works and what doesn't.
Don't feel bad--we've all had recipes not turn out as planned. I say that as long as it tastes good, that's what matters.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! 👨‍🍳
