The son of Cambodia’s longest-serving leader has officially been appointed as the country’s next prime minister. Hun Manet took over the helm from his father, Hun Sen, who ruled Cambodia with an iron first for 38 years. With the new generation assuming power, the question is whether the Western-educated Hun Manet will prove to be a reformer or will merely follow in his father’s footsteps.
