Ahhh!! The video that played after you w some guy in a garden center said the complete OPPOSITE. I just noticed halfway thru my big guy😮??.... What to do??🫣🤦🏼♀️
I have fabulous greenery but no flowers. I started them from tubers, babied them as directed, then planted them outdoor in shade. No sign of blooms on these healthy plants. Help???
Yes you can. I usually let them get hit by a light frost. Then cut the foliage to right above the ground. Dig up and brush off the extra dirt. I store mine in a cool dry spot in a cardboard box with holes in it or the lid open. Then in the spring you can either start them indoors to get a jump start or plant directly outside after chance of last frost. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and Happy Gardening
Very interesting tip! Thank you. I do feel a bit sad for the female flowers, though, since they never get to fully bloom. Too sensitive, I know. Lol.
This is the best video I’ve seen clearly explaining how to increase blooms on begonias. Thank you so much! 🌺

Very clear explanations and good zooming in to actually see what you’re doing! Thank you-will try this out :)
I have done this the past couple of years and it really works. My begonias get massive and packed with flowers. Also use fertilizer once a week

Are you propagating the females to go into a pot of their own or are they dead after plucking?
