    Never heard of this before. Thank you! I have wondered why some of the blooms are single and others double. This summer I pinched back the central stem and that gave me lots of branches which helped with increased blooms. Next year I will also pinch off all the female flowers.

    Each year there are new little rose of sharon plants under my ten foot plant. They seem to be from fallen seeds. Is that possible? or are they from the roots of the older plant?

    These beautiful shrubs actually can grow into very large trees . 🌺🙂🌺 Yes they do come in three different colors purple and pink and white 😍 🌺 Pillar Rose 🌺 This beautiful shrub tree is loved by everyone especially butterflies and bees . 🌺🐝🦋 The 🌺 ( Pillar Rose ) 🌺 are totally edible and humans and animals can eat the flowers as well as the young seed pods as well as the young leaves even the twigs and the roots are used for medical purposes and food. This wonderful plant is a food source as well it has medical benefits . 🤔🙂🤔 You can use the young tender leaves and soups and stir fries. 🤔 You can Sun dry the flowers and use it as medical healthy tea . 😍 You can use the fresh tender leaves to make a paste with distilled water and use it on burns as well as insect bites and wounds . 🤔 You can also dry the leaves in use it as tea leaves. 🤔 The flower is a source of vitamin c and it is good for your immune system. 😍 It helps keep your blood pressure low and it is good for people with diabetes . 🤔 It helps your body with inflammation . 🙂 It helps you when you have a sore throat or a flu and cold. Look up the health benefits for this wonderful shrub tree on TH-cam as well as in the internet . 🌺🤔🌺 From one plant you can have thousands of these plants through the seed pods each year when the seed pods drop on to the soil in the end of fall . 🍁 They multiply and grow very quickly . 🌺🤔🌺 I have many trees on both sides of my house and have to pull out the baby seedlings before they overtake my yard. They make great border fencing and are extremely beautiful as well as a food and medical supply in case of emergency situations . 😍

    W wouldn’t half a gallon of water in a hanging pot be too much every day? If I did that it surely would get waterlogged.

    • @vespista1971
      @vespista1971 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I watered mine every day for the first two weeks I had it, (as the person at the garden center suggested), and now it’s looking worse every day… I scanned it with a plant app and it immediately said it was being overwatered. I feel like I can’t ever get Fuchsias right - this isn’t the first one I’ve killed. But the spot on my front porch where I want a colorful hanging basket gets very little daily sun, so it’s one of the few plants I can put there. I’m so bummed that I can’t seem to get them right.

We had a very cold December in 2022 with temperture's of minus ten. To my surprise they bloomed as good as ever the following summer.
