Perforated cutting is a great feature in Versaworks for your VersaCAMM that gives finished die cut edges on your project. In this video I show you how to go from the normal decal to the WOW decal with finished smooth edges and a hang tag. Just by making a nice finished product your customers will be willing to pay more and be happier with the results.
The steps in the video go from an overview of perforated cutting to setting up the file, testing the cuts and running the job. Follow along to see how it is done.

You could have but the small size of it would have most likely caused binding of the media and possible jams. I use a hole punch for that part.
I add Roland cut contour line and it doesn't cut WHY??

Hey thanks for the video... im trying to dial in a SP300i that was perfcutting just fine. Im not sure what changed. I put in a new cut strip and blade and just cant get good perf cuts. I followed your video here to try and set the blade depth first. I cannot get the blade to even score the backing paper even with it extended fully. Im using a 60 degree blade, I have two cartridges and have tried them both. Any advice?
i had a sp540 back then and never knew about this. i did own it like 15 years ago though maybe this wasn't known back then? what roland 54" print/cut do you recommend at the moment?
I would like to print on a Roland BN-20 and Perf Cut on a Roland GS-24 is this possible? When i do this through versaworks, my perforation force settings are greyed out. Help please
Hi! Can you tell me, how you made the small curved segment with normal cut on the middle top of the sticker with corel draw? Thanks in advance! (I mean the segment you are just showing at 6:23).
What media are you using?
What type of media is that? I'm using the standard roland media ESM-GCVP-10-20. What would you recommend for stickers? I am still working out the cut pressure as the standard media is a bit thick.

My Pressure Is Set At 260 gf and Its Only Cutting All The way Through Top And Bottom But Not The Sides Any Ideas ?
which sticker making material is the best, and where can I buy it?
My question is: without setup the cut line can i create a simple hair lines and choose into versa software wich is the cut line???
+Catalin Sorin Chele it needs to be a spot color that is named. I have a couple of other videos on my channel that show how to setup cutlines. For perforated cutting it needs to be a spot color named PerfCutContour for Versaworks to recognize it properly.

I Want To Try This On the TrueVIS VG 540 With VersaWorks Dual
They are not laminated in the video but you could do this the same with laminated prints.
what vinyl is that?

you would have to test and adjust the cutting specs but it should be close to the ones I recommended.
isn't this bad for the cutting strip on the machine?
it will damage it but the cost is small compared to the markup you can do on the finished product.
Doing the perfcut test on roland sp540i with versawork 5.5 and With a pressure of 230gf it's still not cutting through the backing paper. Can you help please?
maybe you need a new blade or extend it out more
