Hi! When I come to do the multiple record layout, the new indesign file has just 1 name, even tough in my preview there is all the names.... do you know why?
#1, make sure you have all your static elements on the master page, not on page 1 of the document. The multiple record layout looks at all items on the page, so if you have crop marks it will think you're trying to make those multiple as well. #2, make sure you don't have any large text boxes because InDesign will think you don't have enough room to place multiple records on one page.
