In this case I compared the Intercontinental San Diego, USS Grant San Diego , and the Andaz San Diego.
Even without the transfer bonus transferring chase points to Hyatt was still the better redemption.
Hyatt is the best by far, I stopped looking at other options and actually structure my vacations around the Hyatt locations. My wife works at an airline and we're blessed with the perk of free flights. Stayed in Amsterdam for 5 nights and only used 37,000 points!
how did 37k pts stretch that far for you? looking into this right now. new to the chase partner transfer. i have about 100k pts and would love to head out to london!

I just became a Hyatt member when I was visiting San Francisco. The rep. said if I became a member then I get perks. I also have a chase card.
