I finished this game so many times I stopped counting... 10 years later I'm still playing it. This is what you can call a masterpiece. Both the game and this remix.
I have only been playing the Gamecube PAL version of the game. All it lacks are the ultimate moves of every character, maybe a few more attacks, rewarding side quests, costumes... But yeah awesome game anyway. I must have played +300 hours since I first got it.
For some reason that start reminds me of Sheena and how she tried to get a contract with Volt before when so many of her people died. So now with emotion and everyones weight on her shoulders shes determined to finish the job and put their souls and hearts to rest forever. This song is not only beautiful but it symbolizes Sheena's outright determination to finish the job.

Lloyd isn't only popular in the West, he's also one of the most wanted characters in japan. There is no way Velvet makes her way in Smash, but we might have both Lloyd and Yuri according to someone who leaked that Ryu and Ken were going to be in Ultimate, and he also leaked the Steve, Dragon Quest and Sephiroth DLC back in 2018

I honestly feel like when I listen to this I'm hearing a combination of Megaman X music with the epicness that is Fighting of the Spirit. It's win/win :)

This is a tricky question. The three Tales of the World games are rather unique as they don't use the same kind of mechanisms as in the other games. But other handheld iterations, such as Tales of the Abyss ( 3DS ) or Tales of Eternia ( PSP ), are excellent, even better than other consoles ones. It actually doesn't have anything to do with being handheld or not, since Abyss is a remake of a PS2 game, and one should try them all to see which is the best to him. :)

True that, the hi ougis are missing in the NGC version, never played the PS2 version so I've never seen them :(

I meant as a use in battle. I prefer to use Maxwell than Luna. But yeah, fighting Aska and Luna was a much harder battle than fighting Maxwell.
