This was around 1979 1980. Great to see this, I remember the night very well and even more surprised to see myself and friends Tom Allen and Phil Suiter dancing away to Tom Browne "Funkin For Jamaica". A good night thanks to Robbie Vincent and Jeff Young. Thanks for posting. Those were great days, Goldmine Canvey, Flicks Dartford, Kings Lodge West Kingsdown, Freenchies, Eclipse Coulsdon, Tiffanys Purley and Caister Weekenders.
Had many a good night at flicks missed this night sadly but rammed to rafters and great music and atmosphere was the same each week we went great film cheers :-)
I flew back from Tenerife to meet up with mates who took me to Flicks around 87. Colin was a great host & I'd been playing the same style over in Spain & they thought I'd like it.. they were right :) respect
Had so many great nights here at flicks one of the best clubs we attended over the years. And believe me attended most of them over the years, our mob were all from canning town back then including me. We jumped in my capri and we drove north south east and west, for a great night out and flicks never let us down. RIP flicks thanks for the memories ❤
bob rew. In today's PC world, it would be seen as a fascist thing but back then we all laughed at it because it was all fun back then. Man, today's people are soooo sensitive!
