@@p_pthenoob It’s also worth mentioning 1548 is not anomalous and is indeed just a normal pulsar (we are not gonna talk about the daybreak version of 1548)
OK so........ Anything we look at in space is "in the past" due to light speed time delay with extreme distance...... Morse code travels at or slower than light speed..... So.... How could we 1.) See it in "real time" 2.) Receive its communications in "real time" 3.) Know it's intelligent and not being controlled
@@RealSCPFilesThat's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. I won't be checking back in to see if you've responded. Because I don't need to argue with ridiculous morons have a nice day.
Morse Code travels as fast as the signal used to transmit it. The Star is likely using electromagnetic radiation, a.k.a. Light, to transmit the code. It may be using something anomalously faster than light. It's all good.
SCP, used here as simply a numerical designation for a specific anomaly, is also the acronym used for the name of the worldwide Foundation that is responsible for protecting normal people from these anomalies. The acronym stands for their three primary directives: Secure, Contain, Protect. In the SCP fiction, the SCP Foundation contains thousands of different anomalous creatures, objects, locations, even ideas, that in some way defy the laws of physics, or even the very concept of rational thought. Every genera of horror can be found in the SCP database, and I can guarantee you, at least one entry will be something you'd never thought of before, that will keep you up at night. But the Foundation doesn't discriminate, anything that's anomalous must be contained, even if it's benign, or outright beneficial. As such, the SCP fiction also contains almost any kind of story you can think of, written in the style of dry, analytical research reports.
Star could really be out here trolling SO hard
i find it funny that an all powerfull being talks in morse code
Thats a good point....
It has to, Morse code and binary code is an efficient way of communicating

An angry, malevolent STAR sounds like a good proposal for SCP-001 status.

The SCP Foundation holds technologies beyond our current capabilities as well as other SCPs they can utilize

This is a old one, now the new scp is a Sun anomaly's that protect the solar system from the universe creatures that eat stars
Scary
Very scary
How roes it know morse code that would translate to our specific commuication system
This was a good one!
Still not sure what SCP is
Stay tuned for our SCP Foundation introduction video coming out later this week!
