Look at Michael Jordan. He's a douchebag who insulted and abused fellow players. But he was a goat and good for basketball. They're not going to ban him. Phil definitely went over the line and should receive penalties for this.

    What I find hilarious about this is that Phil gave an interview the other day after getting knocked out of another event where everyone in the comments section was admiring how calm he was and were talking about how much he had matured, and then this happens. 😂

      @@filippejic8864 The dude has 15 of 'em already and, unless I'm forgetting someone, I believe he has more second place finishes, final tables and cashes than anyone else in WSOP history, or if not, very close to it. You'd think he'd be used to coming up short by now. He's 57 and acts like a child. It's really not okay for him to be going "motherfucker, motherfucker" and badmouthing the other players when he loses a hand. It's unprofessional, unsportsmanlike, paints poker in a bad light and is disrespectful to the other players. The tournament director should really be intervening.

    I think it’s every poker players dream to get called and cussed out by hellmuth after winning a hand against him. They want to talk back but they can’t help it and realize what’s happening. They know he’s a legend and will have a story to tell their grandchildren one day

I'd tell him about himself like Santeri Valikoski (idiot from Nothern Europe) did back in '08. He acts like he hasn't been playing for decades and has never suffered a bad beat before. Like he's somehow entitled to every pot that he enters just because he's Phil Hellmuth. IDGAF, I'd give it him right back!
      I also think it's fucked up that he gets preferential treatment at WSOP because of his "celebrity" status. If you or I acted like this, even to a much smaller extent, tourney officials would be all over it with strong penalties (maybe even disqualification). Hardly a level playing field.
