Is there actually a video of Phil winning on TH-cam? I mean, he's supposed to be one of the best, but all I see is hands with him losing and ranting :D
Phil tells this long story about how he's got everything figured out and how deep he is and so on. Someone asked Liv if it was true what Hellmuth was saying, she laughed and said 'no'. He's talking out of his ass, none of it is true, then he can't figure out how she comes up with a set. I know how, because the story he's telling is bullshit, so of course the hand doesn't end the way he expects. After he ranted and told the same story 3 times, nobody would pay him any attention. He turned to the poor guy on his left, I heard him say, 'do you know how I did this', then he went on telling the story for the 4th time. The guy had no choice but to pretend to be paying attention. At one point he said' I know all of this',........ then he immediately said, 'well, I'm just guessing'. Phil, knowing and guessing are far from being the same. How can he say he knows it, before taking another breath he says I'm guessing? I think he's off his rocker, poker is eating him up, he needs a break from it before they take him away in a white jacket.

They don’t understand how I play.” What the hell difference does any of that make when the player that won has your chips sitting in front of them?
Phil: how did she get to the turn? Also Phil: check, check
"Your generation dosnt understand how good I am"
OK, Boomer
He is not a boomer
@Mighty Megatron Yo, Dumbass. The 'Boomer' in 'Ok Boomer' isnt referring to literal Baby Boomers. In this context being a Boomer is a mindset, not a generation.
Brandon, that "boomer" is far more rich and successful than you (or any millennial poker player) will ever be. That's why you are spent 13 minutes of your day watching a video featuring that "boomer" Phil instead of a young punk. You have the IQ of an amoeba.
@@davidjameson7839 We love to snap and say "Phil is a titled clown" but he uses that stupidity as a weapon at the table, along with his fundamental understanding of the game thats how hes made so much money over.
If covid hadn't come Id still be making money off of old drunk /people/ just for the fact that they literally do think like this at the table.
Pretty sure Phil is Gen X
I just realized. Sitting at a table with Both Phil’s would be annoying pretty quick.
But having hottie Liv there would make it tolerable.
Eh, I like Phil, he doesnt bother me that much plus he's funny. Now Phil on the other hand...
But yes, Liv is pretty hot, I give her credit for that. Taken though probably
Wil Gomes yeah she’s taken. If I remember correctly she recently got either engaged or married. Doesn’t detract from how pretty she is, and she’s so smart it makes her even more attractive. Just saying.
@@garrettkiger2599 Couldn't agree more, a chick with a noggin on her and an ability to use it is a huge turn on to me, she's very charismatic. One things for sure, she could kick my ass in poker lmao
Right, especially when he takes fucking forever to make a decision, love the clip of Tony G calling him out for that haha
all these years playing and Phil STILL hasn't figured out that people don't play the way HE thinks they should .
"people at home don't even know how deep we are" 😂 I'm dying....
At the end "this is so unfair" literally a game about lying and deceit.
If you want to know how good Phil Hellmuth is just ask him. As a matter of fact you don't really have to ask him just sit there for a minute he'll tell you. He's a legend in his own mind
Phil: Im the best i should win! I'm entitled to it because no one can be as smart as i am!
So she was coached ahead of time on how to play against Phil. Knowing this Phil changed his strategy. Then he lost anyway because she had better luck. Phil, that's why its called *GAMBLING!* LOL
Phill doesn't understand or can not accept poker is gambling...
Poker is definitely gambling but the more skilled players will come out ahead in the long run. Luck definitely plays a big part in poker.
Poker is not 100 per cent gambling. The only game that you can turn a losing hand into a winner by strategy, when and how you bet and a double heaping serving of psychology.
she doesnt need coach to beat phill lol
@@charlesrobbins2208 The only game?
"She's been watching me for days,"...lol Phil
"I raised every hand for 45 minutes."
"That doesn't sound very profitable."
"Right!? It was beautiful. I lost $150k."
"Um..."
"I'm brilliant!"
Sometimes after a stressful day at work I like to come home and listen to guided meditation on youtube. If it's a really stressful day then I listen to Hellmuth tilting. His stream of vitriol is far more calming than any amount of transcendental contemplation.
Phil’s rant is why I always remember to bring headphones to the table
You raise preflop then check three straight times after that. Of course they have a chance to hit something. How the hell did he win so many bracelets? Why are you not betting with Aces top pair and even a straight draw? You deserved to lose that. Yeah you're the only one who understands the game. Nobody else does...
Phil knows how to get more out of the hand, that's why. That is why he is a millionaire professional player and you aren't. He is just a bad loser when someone (inevitably) hits lucky cards against him. He played the odds, but the rare case beat him.
john Tuttle no John he could of value bet and made the same also scare her off the pot he does this the whole time and has a hissy fit when his trap fails his plays are out of a play book from years ago when people where more conservative younger players are more likely to push he should of bullied her off the hand and taken what ever he could get from each bet instead of checking into a hit. And before you start I’m pretty successful at poker
@@MARIUS2776 I agree, especially with that flop
MARIUS MCCLOSKEY another self important poker asshole 😂
Phil is more of an old school player. Poker has changed a lot in recent years. Well the way players play has changed, they play more hands that old school players would muck. Phil is an excellent poker player. He is better at tournament play then at cash games. Phil has so many bracelets because he plays good consistently. He is emotional and thinks he is far better then everyone and it makes him look like an asshole a lot.
Classic Phil
Checks all 3 streets and wonders why he loses the pot.
Muppet.
Met the man at Aria rude as hell sadly it’s not just for TV.
Charlie Harper He’s got all that cash and uses UBER? Lol.
The Hellmuth Diet:
Every time you feel like going to the fridge for some ice cream or cake, watch a video of Phil losing a hand. Equally satisfying, zero calories!
Not sure why people get so pissed when aces don’t hold up? They’re not invincible lol yeah it’s the best starting hand but that can all change on a flop, turn or river
Nathan Kennedy Yup.. seen a lot of people lose to straights and flushes when holding aces and they just can’t believe it. 😂
I'll take suited connectors or pockets any day over bullets
@@TheOrangeRoad i can already see you are one of those guys who overplay their AA no matter what the board is, and also cannot fold it on the river when you face a big bet and you know you are beat.
@@DD-vc7fq I'm not sure if you're projecting because you have the same preference as me, or you are reaching because you can't imagine people like other hands besides aces. Either way I think you're mistaken.
@@TheOrangeRoad Give me one reasonable explanation to why do you prefer TT/suited connectors over AA.
I love watching him get beat..never gets old😄
"You know what you should try Phil? You should try the 21 day no complaint bracelet" 🤣 that was perfect
Honey....Honey ...Did you see how i just pissed my chips and any credibility up the wall with a play straight out of Doyle Brunsons grandads playbook?Shoot me now
Seriously surprised no one at the table asked "Are you done?"
"I'm such a genius I check the flop after 3-betting pre-flop, giving her a free card. If I had just thrown $500 in, she would've folded, and I would've won. But people don't understand just how brilliant I am, and it all went according to my plan."
I feel so bad for Phil... I couldn’t imagine having such low self esteem and such a fragile ego. He genuinely NEVER gets out played in his own mind. It’s literally always someone else’s fault for being so stupid and getting lucky. And then he usually has to go run over to his wife and get a pep talk lol.
That's cause you checked the flop
If you stay in, luck plays a factor always! It is not all math and science it's gambling!
Must be nice..NEVER needing someone else to pat your back.
Phil should be a farmer, planning everything, working hard , the turnout would be good.
But Jimmy he would wind up just like the fertilizer that the puts on the ground, it would be a bunch of BS!
Phil coming up with conspiracies against himself for over 10 minutes haha
Phil 3bets pre then checks all three streets lmao. Wow.
12:07 that was beautiful. Puts his hand out to stop seat five from acting on his hand, grabs his straddle and puts it out for him... doesn't even skip a beat of his rant 😂
Can you explain what he did more? Was he not supposed to stop him?
@@bobdole7292 there is no "supposed to". The guy forgot to straddle, Phil noticed and stopped him from potentially acting on his hand and put the straddle out for him so he wouldn't act out of turn and action could continue correctly. (My original comment wasn't sarcastic, if you were thinking that)
Why was he required to straddle. Isn't it a choice? Or was the joke here that the guy had been intentionally straddling Phil everytime?
@@Majik518 they agreed to have everyone do a mandatory straddle. Nope no joke here
Phil knows that AA vs 55 wins 8/10 times. but it's those 2 times out of ten that he REALLY has trouble with...
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Hellmuth video in which he’s won. That in itself is an accomplishment
He's one of those guys who gets outsmarted and calls the person who did it dumb, god damn
I’d give anything for Boree to tell Phil that she doesn’t think of him away from the table and he’s not the centre of everyone’s universe like he thinks
Hats off to Liv for maintaining composure and keeping a smile on her face during that fairly insulting tirade from Hellmuth
Tbf at this point his insults dont hold any meaning, he calls everyone an idiot and a bad player lol
I think most of his fellow pros just laugh it off and assume it's going to happen. Daniel Negreanu for example needles and trolls him mercilessly on purpose to get a rise out of Phil.
However, away from the table, most of the same pros say what a fun and engaging guy Phil is to be around and how they don't take offense to his rants. It's just part of who he is. They know he does it, he knows he does it. So you do what Liv did and laugh it off.
Phil is the master of reading hands that he thinks a person has but doesn't...but if they had those hands oh boy would he be right....
“The only person who understood it was Cantu” 🤔😂
Someone tell Phil that the object is to actually win hands, not guess what your opponent is doing.
And even if the goal was to guess what your opponent is doing, he failed at that too.
“Your generation has no idea how good I am”
Hope he doesn’t break his arm patting himself on the back.
My problem with Phil is he expects you to play by his poker rules?
Last time I checked there is no rules on how a person plays poker.
You have to mix it up as much as possible to become unreadable, but this upsets Phillis.
his game is centered around super sound fundamentals and an old-school strategy. problem is.... its 2021 and everybody knows how to play against that and play a much wilder and tougher game to read. hard to even pick up on tells when they play and win with shit hands. theres nothing to even tell lmao.
I just listened to Phil Hellmuth go on for 10 minutes about how great of a poker player he is.
While simultaneously losing the hand
we've been listening to it for 10 years.
Phil, the only guy who tries to convince people his bad play loses are a result of his advanced intelligence......
Wake me up when Phil Hellmuth wins a hand in a cash game.
Phil is a good player, but he expects everyone to play the same way. That is the beauty in poker. No one plays the same cards the same way
Liv is so damn gorgeous!
You'll find a girl
Not really
Shes very average. Go take a cold shower virgin..
she is incredibly average. You basement dwellers are ridiculous.
12:06. Just brutal.
"Welcome to Value Town. Population: You"
That's a Viffer, right?
Chael I DON'T PREDICT DEEZ TINGS Sonnen +1
''Welcome to the Value city...'', my man... from the first PAD cash game! (^__^)
Legend has it Phil is still talking about the hand to this day.
He understands what they are thinking so much, but still loses.
"Hmmm I'm losing to random junk hands that could have called me...let's let her catch up for free by slow-playing it!"
Slow plays a pair on a drawing board... how does he not see he played that bad. Any size bet on flop would of made her fold
I really like watch hellmouth lose, theres just the feeling of satisfaction whenever he lose and mad about losing
"I already know what's coming."
Yet, he still punts it off😂🤣.
So this is why a lot of players listen to music on headphones. Met up for a chat, and a Poker game broke out.
"you really think I'm gonna value bet king queen on the river?"
"yeah."
subtle roast.
and she played it the exact same way he would have with 5-5 (with less talking) but it's somehow wrong
Is there actually a video of Phil winning on TH-cam? I mean, he's supposed to be one of the best, but all I see is hands with him losing and ranting :D
It's because he's absolutely hilarious when he loses, but he's actually a good sport when he wins so it's not as interesting for videos lol
Phil is a bad loser, but a gracious winner
That's cause it gets more views when he cry's
@@Calabresa022 Tony g is the exact opposite lol

had to pause. how is this 13 minutes long?
There’s a rant lol
@@Pokernight it was a slow and steady wins the long race rant
Whenever Im on a losing streak, I dont think of myself as a loser, I think of myself as Hellmuth.
Phil “she doesn’t know that I know she’s been watching me for 5 days....” Right Phil. 🤣
13:29. The best part of this video
Sometimes, Phil plays poker in a bad way and then get angry with the other players.
All the other times he isn't playing poker.
Phil laak debating what game to play next and running every bit of air out of his lungs is the highlight of the video.
Who else just watches poker videos where Hellmuth is playing just to watch him make a total fool out of himself every time he's outplayed? LOL
I know fuck all about poker, but I love watching this guy fuck up. Lol
