just for anyone who owns it and is wondering: the little key on it is for safety, for kids not to turn it on i guess, to activate you click on it, like any other button there and to deactivate you keep pressing for a few seconds. Took me awhile to find that out 😅
We have problem with this oven. It is flashing all the time how to stop it I don't know could you teach please me? How to solve this problem with this oven?
We just got one of these and I’m having problems I switch the power on, press the + for the part I want, I then use the +/- to set the temp, for example setting 9 but the number continually flashes then after a minute goes back to 0 then switches off, doesn’t even get warm/hot. It makes like a tut tut tut sound too
An easy way to reset an appliance is turn the power off feeding the unit - on your mains switchboard you might have a separate flip switch to isolate the appliance. Flip the switch to OFF wait at least 10 secs then turn it back on - when power is restored to the appliance indicators will flash & sound off with beeps and then you should be able to unlock then power on
So this hob can literally be plugged into any 13amp socket 🤔 even if it’s not on a dedicated cooker circuit? People will be buying them and just plugging them into ring finals
i have not come across this - i will check later on today and see if i can replicate it. Might have to call Bosch support team - be warned they are not very helpful!
@@backchatter i figured out the problem to this one. The reason why the numbers in my induction is blinking is because of the pots i use. The bottoms are not magnetic. The key is to check if the pots are induction friendly or you’re just throwing your money away. Thanks, anyways. ☺️
what is your electricity consumption with this hob? is it cheaper than electric hob? especially hen you turn on the boost function. Do you use it this function alot?
The series 4 units have dreadful touch sensors. They make it unusable. Bosh wont acknowledge it and will dismiss you if you complain. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
@@backchatter It definitely is not my pans. I got rid of all my old pans and paid a small fortune for induction compatible ones. Since my other comment, none of the heat rings are working, I am waiting for someone to come out and fix the problem.
Oh dear! Hopefully they can fix it at no cost to you. Once i had to get an engineer to have a look and he lowered my amp and told me how i night the wrong one for my needs. I didn't agree with him
@@backchatter Thanks. I had the same issue. Just moved into a new apartment. Moved a small pan to one of the smaller hobs. Seems to be working. Thanks.
Thank you so much for your sharing experience, now I am confident to go to buy a Bosch series like this for easy plug in with 13amp socket.
Do you know how i can reduce the beep sound, it's very loud on my one.
All induction hobs beep - its a feature of digital appliances

What about its errors, like the lines???

Is it always so loud ?

Did you put a pot on the hob? It only works if a pot is in position.@MoeJaber-xi7uu
Can you heat up multiple hobs at once?
Yes

What do you mean?
Does timer work for one pan at a time or can I set multiple?

I live and die by the boost function. Electricity is capped to 15wat or something so doesnt use much.
Have you ever used 3 at once? I tried and had strange clicking sound like it cannot work
I just read manual and it's normal

My numbers keep flashing and it there doesnt heat
. Sending me nuts :)
Mine too...back ones are fine, front ones just flash and make a throbbing sound. It’s only a month old 😠
That could he because your pan is small, not centered or not compatible with this cooker. I have one pan that does this on one position only.
