I don't understand what's different about autochef from this demo. It looks like he just set the temperature to 3. Is there something more interesting going on that he didn't mention?
Hi Devi, the Autochef cooking helps automate power levels and cooking times for some preprogrammed foods. More info on this, and all other features can be found in the use and care manual, which is available on the webpage for the induction top you're interested in. If we may help answer any questions, connect with us at BoschCare@BSHG.com. Thank you!
I read in a review that the cooktop will turn itself off after 2, 3, or 4 hours when trying to simmer a sauce all day. Is this true? I like to simmer my spaghetti sauce all day. Is that possible with this cooktop?
@@RingoAnselmo With induction cook tops, there are no radiant heating elements under the glass cooking surface, induction cooking surface does not get hot like a radiant element cooking surface does with the heating element left ON. If there is no pot or fry pan on the energized induction location, then it will turn off after a time delay. If there is an inductive load on the cook top, then the induction surface will stay on.

Can we switch out a 36" KitchAid Induction Cooktop Model #KCIG556JBL/SS that has a larger cutout hole (W 35-9/16 ; D 20-11/32 ) in our quartz countertop and insert this 36" Bosch Benchmark Model #NITP660SUC (w/Frame) or UC (Frameless) that has a smaller cutout hole?
Hi Elizabeth, thanks for your question and interest in Bosch! It's strongly recommended that before replacing any appliance, you measure your existing cutout area, then refer to the potential replacement appliance's Installation Manual and Product Specification Sheet for the required cutout dimensions. By doing so, you can determine if the replacement appliance will fit in the available space. The best way to ensure a safe and proper installation is to consult with a qualified installer. Whats with the magnetic test on the pan? Do you need a certain pan to use on these stove tops?

Yeah, I have to watch a you tube video to learn how to turn on a stove
A knob…a knob…twist a single knob for the burner you want…done…
Hahaha
I hate this stove. No matter how I touch the buttons it only seems to work when it wants to. I will NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN.

this has confirmed nothing beats gas cooking
Oh yes the giant magnet that I keep nearby to test my pots and pans. So dumb to expect people to only be able to use a specific type of pot and pan.
It's really not that complicated...
No different than gas if you use cheap pots with plastic handles that can melt
Refrigerator magnets were common few years ago. Magnets are cheap anyway.
Terrible device
Why do you say it's terrible - did you buy one? I'm shopping for an induction cooktop and hoping to learn more from someone who actually owns a bosch.
