  • In this video, The Miter Saw Protractor Every DIY'er Should Have [HOW TO FIGURE OUT MITER ANGLES] We are going to take a close look at the Sawset and Sawset Pro Miter Protractor.
These tools are well designed and built to last.
If you want the most accurate miter protractor on the market today you need a sawset! This unique carpenters protractor has been redesigned to be compatible with any miter saw. Unlike a standard protractor it's scales have been calibrated to give perfect miter saw settings every time, no math needed.
Sawset protractor is perfect for crown moulding, baseboards, wainscoting, stairs/railings, cabinet making, hardwood floors, decks, fences, woodshop and much more!
Your miter saw cuts at a fraction of a degree, so why not have have an angle finder that can do the same? Because of it's large size scales, it is easy to read and find a fraction of a degree for that tight fit.
A miter saw is designed with 2 adjustable angle settings. One on the back, which enables you to tilt/lean the blade, which gives you the bevel setting. The other is on the front of the saw parallel to the table, to adjust the miter setting. These settings done correctly, will give you that satisfying perfect fit.
If you own a miter saw, you need a sawset protractor!

Do you think the stainless or plastic version is better? Can you mention some pros and cons of each? Thanks!

I actually like the plastic one better because it has a larger scale and easier to read, it is very durable. On the other hand the stainless steel one is laser etched slightly smaller scale and very readable. The stainless steel one also comes with all the miter settings you need to cut crown on the flat and the plastic one doesn't. Thanks for watching.
