I have a very large gunite pool in which I have flagstone on the edge of the pool and than a 1/2 inch concrete strip and than the cement sidewalk buts up against the concrete strip. I don't want the pool to ever lift up and Crack which I have to be careful when draining the pool. Is it best for me to fill in the Crack between the flagstone and concrete wall with sticking a mesh that the water won't go through? Or am I ok to not put a mesh there and just put the polymer said in there so it will flex when the concrete sidewalk moves and or papers move? Thoughts and recommendations are most appreciated. Awesome video! What is the shelf life of the G2 polymeric sand? I have about 20 bags that were purchased 2 1/2 years ago but were not installed due to unforeseen events. This coming summer I'll be ready to install but I would like to know if it's still good. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. We would say that within reason polymeric sand should last a long time. As long as the bag was kept dry it should still perform as expected. You should be able to use your 2 year old bag.
