  • ‼️UPDATE‼️
So I've been getting a lot of feed back from the last Irig 2 streaming video I made a while back. Loads of comments mostly good and some bad but the main question was "Show us the wiring" and "it doesn't work like that" ect ect... THIS video I give a full breakdown on how I set mine up and use it with my smartphone, and yes, this device is one of the least expensive interfaces on the market.

Well, I thought the nightmare was over. I just went back and heard my live replay, which is one of the many features on TikTok and it wasn’t doing it in the headphones, but I noticed on the live that the track is skipping. Are you not supposed to turn the gain all the way down on the rig? gain on the controller is at 12 o’clock. Nothing added main is at 12 o’clock. It plays right through and doesn’t skip in the headphones. I don’t understand why skipping on the live.

Hey Brian! Thanks for the video! So if the Irig2 captures every sound which goes through it and feeds it into the phone, does it mean I could use it with the audio interface for the output (headphones)? The schematic is - guitar is plugged into the audio interface - audio interface into the DAW (laptop) and all sound can be monitored through the output of the audio interface - so if theoretically I link the output of the audio interface with the IRig2 - it should capture all the sounds from the DAW and transfer it into the phone for streaming, I guess I am correct on that

The Irig might not be compatible to taking RCA to 3.5 unfortunately. BUT good news is that you can find little 2 channel mixers for under 50 bucks though. Yeah, you’re gonna have white noise, of course so I turned my main at 12 o’clock all my gains at 12 o’clock turned the gain all the way down on the rig and finally success at first I experimented and had it on FX but then turned it back to through again. Everything is at 12 o’clock it sounds pretty good on the playbackof a little recorder I have in my phone.
