Tuning our Suzuki Swift 1.3 Diesel into a pocket rocket!

- As we all know, the Suzuki Swift is one of the most attainable and easily available cars you can buy in India, period. But that isn't to say that it isn't a tuner car. We took this 2012 Suzuki Swift 1.3 Diesel and tuned with the help of Autodisir Performance to make it into a drag spec vehicle. We were able to push almost 100 bhp out of the Fiat sourced 1.3 diesel engine and we also explained why we scrapped the idea of tuning a Skoda Fabia Diesel in comparison to a Suzuki Swift Diesel! Small capacity Diesel engines were so so good had adequate performance, excellent mileage easy to maintain and excellent mile muncher. Polo tdi, Swift ddis ford tdci were absolutely great cars.
Great to see people understand swift as enthu car , i have 15 model diesel and enjoying it and want to upgrade performance soon

Suzuki Swift's handle really well, I don't know why tune up kit in the UK is so sparce, they're very underrated.
What was the 0 to 100kmph acceleration figure ? You could have added that too.
Hello. Loved your video. I just have a question: I have POLO 1.2 3-cylinder Petrol (Non-turbo). Can it be tuned ? because as I understand, It can but not that great output as turbo is not in picture. Can you please clear my mind on that. ALso if yes, how's that. Can a Turbo be installed and approx cost. Thank you :)
Stage 1 & stage 1+ (along performance airfilter) remaps can be done without turbo. You'll see a notice bump in power and torque curve.

Guys I've got a question why do some Maruti engines feel similar to the honda one's, see the K24 in the Accord feels similar to the Maruti Kizashi's 2.4L And the 2.7l V6, and even the 800cc of Maruti 800 and 800cc of honda acty they feel kinda same and even the 1.3 of city and 1.3 of Esteem could you make a video on this?

A stage 1 for this car should be around 110HP & around 177 lb/ft the 94HP tune is a eco remap 👍

You should be sharing the cost as well for a remap.
First you need to get rid of the 165 section tyres and put wider ones..And also upgrade the stopping power .....else you'll be a danger not only to you but also to others in the road

Hello , u can consider Ford Figo the new model . It has 1.5 L tdci engine with 90-100 nm of torque. So if possible it can be tuned more. Nd the power output can be more . I don't much about tunning the cars . Bt still it might help ✌🏻

Revvs all the way to 5k rpm, that's why it's the National Engine Of India.
Ig every diesel engine revvs till/almost 5000rpm....
@@fadilrahman2157 not really, most diesel engines aren't of displacement like this one the 1.3L, they're atleast about 2.0L or 1.8L.
Shorter displacement means more revs.
@@lawl6374 my friend has a XUV 5OO, plonked in a 2.2L mHawk which revvs till 4800rpm! Well you are right no doubt some do revv till only 4500 too!
@@lawl6374 Well we have a 13yr old Swift Dizre VDI 1.3L Diesel. Thinking to uprgade its power through ECU remapping and brake boosters with wider tyres.
@@fadilrahman2157 same here, we have a '12 swift dzire with the same 1.3l suzuki DDiS but mate, a friendly advice, these engines are literal gems, remapping and adding a lot of stuff on it in the name of "increasing the performance" would result in decrease in their excellent reliability. The way suzuki tuned the engine way better than it's origin the Fiat multijet engines, with an amazing response with just a tap on the throttle.
These engines are valued more than 6Lakhs, in any car, in the pre-owned world.
But it's your car so, it's your wish really.

Had one of these, no doubt it was fun to drive but this has the worst brakes ever.
But aftermarket brakes are not very reliable
It was not the brakes ig the small stock tyres didnt support much grip and braking performance. Tyre sizes in VDI were 165/80 R14.
