I own this and it’s the best car I’ve ever had hands down. Super reliable 1 owner 25K when I bought it, 40K now 0 issues whatsoever.

dont wanna be that one guy but the whole point of the blind spot monitor is that you can't look into the blind spot with a mirror. and since many old folks are unable to turn their head around enough to manually check their blindspots this might acutally be a reasonable feature

@@rashodm7129 I think the same way but in reality most old people don't want to see that they could be a potential threat to others and still drive although they shoudn't. Much more people should work on their flexibility and fitness when they get older but most don't. So I agree with you that such a sensor shouldn't be necessary but in reality it might be better to have one than having a lot of older people who are taking a chance every time they open the door. Same goes for ignorant people who just don't mind other traffic

They are nice opportunity to get some fantastic car fo so "little" money :) Still, it is only bad that they really don't have a big number of cars, but it is understandable, as they are selling confiscated cars only. :)

In Australia and the UK the Evoque holds its value very well. Almost 60-70% over 3 years.

This is the Range Rover id buy if I were to ever want a Range Rover. These little things ROCK.
They come in to the shop I work at for maintenance all the time, they’re super easy to work on because I suspect Ford donated the 2.0l EcoBoost as its power plant. The interior is super luxurious but also functional. You definitely know you’re in a Range Rover and not a Ford Escape, with whom it’s priced very competitively for the same reliability.
I think Range Rover has done a great thing with the Evoque and that it will shake up the market a little.
Older ones might have a Ford engine. The new ones have the Jaguar Land Rover Ingenium engine.
I purchased mine yesterday....I'm very pleased I might add.

If you want really fast acceleration, put it in Sport mode, and manually shift with the paddle shifters. If you drive it without the shifters, it'll automatically start out in 2nd gear to prevent wear and tear.

This evoque is just a magic.. and hope all these electronics functions right the way they should... Now that will be something against land rover's reliability record but will be extremely happy if it does. Love land rovers.
As a previous gen Evoque owner, wanted to point out that the Evoque is slow off the line because it never starts in 1st, even in S mode. 1st gear is ultra short and reserved for off road use because this has no low range box. If you go to manual mode and shift down to 1st, its a lot stronger off the line :)

@@webbedtrader I had one, the first gen facelift, and I loved it. 240'000km never let us stranded it was a Diesel, very efficient, very comfortable driving. Not a sporty suv but certainly corners better than a big range.
Comfort and luxury for the price were fantastic, upgraded surround sound system was one of the best in a car.

It doesn't adjust the placement of the camera, but adjust the image projected on the mirror. So it scrolls up or down on the image
