100%, which is why after tossing and turning on getting 1 or 2 Leviathan boxes, I'll settle on one. Imperium is also 80-90 issues, so there is also PLENTY of models in addition to what's in Leviathan.
I just got into 40K and the Levithan box was the kit I ever built. I was spoiled by the models having push pins. I didn't know older models didn't have them.

I just picked up my leviathan box today. Thanks for a great video displaying the models in the kit. I find, instead of using the backside of your hobby knife to clean sprue and mold marks, the backside of the head on citadel pliers does a great job.

Would be really awesome when you are painting the marines as Dark Angels if you could use Dark Angels bits from other kits so we can see the scale of them compared to the new marines like the terminators, would greatly help me in deciding what bits to use on my Dark Angels and help decide if I even want to purchase the boxset as well. Thank you!
The Infernus Squad is the same size as Intercessors, as is the Sternguard Veterans squad, but as their shoulder pads are fully attached to their arms in this case, there wouldn't be much beyond the transfers that you could easily add to these as Dark Angels 🤔
@@swordnsteele712 there are wings and extra bits from say the deathwing knights kits that are seperate extras that could be used. I have also considered somethings Pete the Wargamer has done by cutting off shoulder pads to fit the dark angels specific ones on as well.

Dont play anymore just build and paint but this set is truly amazing and the fact that GW didnt Primarisize the Terminators is mindblowing to me and i couldnt be happier. If it aint broke dont fix it... Terminators are perfect how they are just needed to be bigger
Can you build those pushfits in subassemblies? Like keeping weapons with hands on space marines separate from their bodies for easier access to painting details?
Yes, the Marines' arms push into their shoulders, the heads push into their necks, so in most every case you can keep things subassembled for later. You can keep them off their bases too, with sort of the exception of the Lieutenant, whose right toes are part of the base piece. 🤔
Very nice look at this set! And nice prints considering it's a push fit set. Without the options of free posing, seems to take half of the hobbying with the models...leaning a bit into the toy product....but, we have our ways! Thanks Again!
How hard do you think it would be to shift the pose (even a little - e.g. turning his head) on the screamer killer? That seems like the one where it would be really nice to have two if you can get them and it would be more noticeable than on the little beasties.
So how bad are the actual gaps on these new push to fit Nids, I've heard some positives about the newer push to fit stuff. But from a glance, these don't look much better. Are my eyes deceiving me?
If I had used any amount of glue, there likely wouldn't be a gap to be seen. Since I only push-fitted them together without glue, I'd say they did fairly well :)
I cannot wait to get my hands on the new edition. I hear good things about Sisters of Battle in 10th and it's motivating me to get my 2k-ish Adepta Sororitas built and painted finally. I'm also excited for the new Primaris, namely the Hospitaler and Infernus Squad. And my gf is hyped on those Tyranids (breathtaking sculpts, esp the Neurotyrant) so it's paramount we secure that box. I just hope it comes in at a reasonable price and is widely available. Great vid, as usual, Naomi. Thx!

@@Vokdor1 It´s not about ordering enoug, it´s about getting what you ordered aka GW producing enough, but I have heard that GW has made more copies of Leviathan then they have done of Indomitus.
actual question, why not just use a scalping bot? You can find them very easily after a little searching and it should get in your hands, a players, and not a scumbags that will resell 20 boxes for 50 euro more on every box

I find it a shame they upsized Termagants to 28mm bases... the old models were too big for their bases but IMO if there was ever a model that could have done with a shrinking it was probably the Gaunts so that they work better as a swam.
Way back in the before times, during the "colour shifting" wars, you mentioned you would try the paint with an airbrush. Is there any chance we can see a model painted that way?

These kits are definitely going to be used to sell a future weekly imperium style magazine

The tyranids are more textured this 'round, really makes a good canvas for speedpaint/contrast/xpress paints.

You could also see it as upping the challenge to conversion.
Make a conversion of a monopose model and you have a very unique piece
