I wish I sketched everyday lol
I usually just sketch thumbnails and very simple ideas. Most of my practice comes when I'm painting my finished pieces 😅
Kind of a bad habit to be in.. 😬
I just don't want to use my Arches for practice paper, and my sketchbooks are not the right paper to know how something's gunna work/look on my Arches

That’s a really great point! I don’t expect it to look the same for sure, but there are definitely advantages to arches. It’s hard too, especially when arches is such an expensive brand.
There’s nothing wrong with playing and playing in different mixed media sketchbooks and figuring out your process and what you like. My friend likes a different sketchbook than me for all her process work because we all do things a bit differently.

love the bullet sharpener- I use it for my Caran D'ache luminance pencils and it works great!! I have some of the Pilot Enos in cart waiting for me to purchase- I'm so glad to hear that you use them as I haven't tried them yet.

Yes!! I just switched to my little bullet for my luminance pencils when I use them. They need to get some more love, but I haven’t been reaching for them recently.
I hope you enjoy your color enos. They are something that I always have on hand. I just enjoy them so much.

I didn't know archer and olive did skechbooks, i thought they only make journals.. hmm the more i learn i guess.

Yes, they just did them with their last essentials round. They are fantastic! They are very smooth pages and 160gsm.
