I never ever heard this song until i met my husband 14yrs ago & i Do have quite a vast knowledge of music through time,& this song capsulates the time, era & Perfectly mirrors the time it is built on & smoothly gives a seemingly smooth & flawless twist to represent their :present day'.Im sorry i sound pretentious, however take into account BEFORE hanging me that I Am British!!!!
Love it! Sounds like the Beatles 'Good Day Sunshine' from the Revolver album from the same year in 1966. Very McCartney-esque and there's nothing wrong with that!
Jack baby your sooo mellow You'all harmonizin even falsetto-ing, I'm nodding too you, these guys were all over it all around the world of music with this one !
I'm sorry. Maybe it's because I'm a Cream fan or better yet a huge Jack Bruce fan, this song is fine in my book. His vocals suit the tune and it's not like this was the crux of their entire catalog lol It's funny how quickly the fans turn when the band ventures away from "the sound" they're use to. Wasn't the first and certainly not the last time some of the great bands experienced a negative reaction for trying something different.
Never heard this song before until I just heard it trashed on Yesterday's Papers. Personally i quite like it it has that old timey circle of 5ths sound.
poor studio audio likely the reason they couldn't adequetly hear the track they were supposed to mime to ....live mic did pick up Ginger at the end.... Baker despised the song .....
Hard to believe that, as the touted first supergroup, they would release this ridiculous nonsense as their first single. It reminds me of Floyd's San Tropez from Meddle. Another shit song. Have to say, I always thought that I'm So Glad was their first single.
Ginger said this was his least favorite musical contribution he ever made.
“It’s the worst piece of shit I ever did”.
@@RazzleDazz72It’s somewhere here on TH-cam .. and look ad this hands waving then . Was still upset then
“Wrapping Paper is the most appalling piece of shit, ive ever heard in my life” says Ginger but i disagree.
It is pretty terrible when you compare it to the rest of the discography of Fresh Cream, Disraeli, and Goodbye/Farewell.
Well was he high or something else? I'm confused
As a huge fan of the band, somehow I never knew about this. I’m so glad. I’m so glad. I’m glad I’m glad I’m glad.
I like this song. It grows on you. Kind of an old timey song.

I really love this song. Dixieland harmonies, old ragtime rhythm. I'm enjoying it... perfectly!🥰

Somehow i overlooked this song until recently even though I'm 68 and cream figured hugely in my youth. It has a 1940s British Jazz feel. Love it.

Always been a guilty pleasure haha
I always felt that this tune fit great on Fresh Cream! Too Stoned to mime properly!
I like the ending , never heard before.
1:53 lol at this point Bruce isnt even trying anymore
Never heard that fade-out to the end before.
Cool extended ending, never heard that before.
Well, I like it. Controversial, unrepresentative of what Cream would be and very much a false start to the band’s career but it’s a nice tune imho!
Breezy Music Hall with a Hawaiian vibe. Fun, light fare.
Love you guys
They Would have rather been playing tennis 😂
Wouldn't that be nice 😉
Not exactly dynamic stage presence either. They all look like they’d rather be ANYWHERE else but there. 😂😂😂
They didn’t like this song. Ginger hated it!
Their first single, done as a joke
Sour Cream
Might this have been their Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band tribute?
Well it could be worse, might have been 10 sec. longer

Nonchalance behavior .
Well, I like it...
I don't really see what was in the description.. But I would love to see if ginger or someone else talked about this mime
and so gods they were

It was called "lip-synching" not miming and they hated to do it as did most live performers then.
They trying to be the Kinks here? Awful.
Well they all look a little bored😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Coffee Song is much better
No doubt!

One of their dumber songs.
