What a charming cafe! A very relaxed atmosphere inside and a homely vibe. Unlike the Internet cafe in my Ekaterinburg city. When you come to the Russian cyber arena (that's what we call it in Russia) this is usually a dark room in a basement with neon lighting, smoky from the number of vapes from visitors. There are screams of bad language everywhere, dumb aggression goes over the edge, no food inside, only drinks and snacks for overprice, club employees sit at the reception and dont do anything besides taking ur money for time. The atmosphere of a real brothel, where punks who skip classes and gopnik gather together. The lower cultural stratum, in other words. The only advantages I can acknowledge is that our clubs in my city have more modern hardware. Even in the cheap zone there are PCs with rtx 3060 and AMD Radeon 5600x. And well, we have all the seats from branded gaming manufacturers, same with mouses and keyboards. But it also cost more (strating with 1,11$ for an hour). Indonesian cafes are different in a good way. I would even love to visit such a place with a friend.
Kids yelling bad words also happened in the Indonesian internet cafe. But other than that, they're pretty good. Hell, there's a huge notable difference between early and pre 2010s with late and post 2010s. Other than the cleanliness and AC, internet cafes back then were used for both gaming and writing for study or work. But nowadays since we can use Microsoft Word and Excel even with the cheapest laptop or phone, those internet cafes are either transformed into a fully gaming cafe or extinct.
I used to go to internet cafes with my friends after school at Fridays. Unfortunately because of the pandemic almost every internet cafes that we went to has permanently closed. This video brings back good memories.
It feels refreshing to see internet cafes thriving. Here in the Philippines a lot of internet cafes are gone because people, mostly kids, play games through their phones these days. Back in 2010-2018ish we have a lot of internet cafes to choose.
In Malaysia is the same too . In my hometown there were 10 cybercafes i think. In school we students used to talk what cybercafe they visit. But now there is none left
TBH same thing is happening in Indonesia. When I was in my end of elementary school year to middle school years (2010-2015) it's still very famous, like you could literally found warnet/internet cafe in every corner of the streets but now a lot of warnet that I frequently visited as a child to early teenager is already been closed down for at least 5 years.

the kids that grow up here will be so much better adjusted and developed than most kids with pc's in their homes. As a turkish cypriot that lives in england, the differences in gaming culture in both countries is insane, in cyprus or turkiye, gaming is a social activity, you go to a cafe like this and play in person, its why theres so many pro turkish val players because they literally grow up playing lans, in england, its so much more isolated and selfish and personal, idk, i just think theres so much more charm to this.
It may have only been a second or two but at 0:09 on the right I can see a game of mine being played far across the world from me, stumbled upon this by chance. Truly epic 😀

Insane that rentals are still alive in Indonesia. Miss my highscool days. Sadly, most pc rentals in the Philippines are gone now because of mobile gaming.
@@abdu7095 i strongly believe it's related. Kids these days will rather play free to play games in mobile than rent a PC. This is also the reason why RTS games are dead. MOBA killed RTS. Also, FPS games are free and playable on any mobile devices.
You can find a Ryzen 2600 + RX588 PC for the same price (0.19$/h) in Russia. It’s 3 minutes away from my home. You also get much better seats. So if we speak quality/price ratio, this is not the cheapest option :) But Indonesian gamers look much chiller and less aggressive, which is nice.

man i fuckin miss the vibe of internet cafes, the pandemic killed the demand in the philippines, but during my childhood its where a lot of us kids from troubled families spend time to play and watch anime
I can probably count all of the Internet cafes still remaining in my country on one hand sadly. They were really popular from around 1998 to around 2005. Around that time they started dying and pretty much died around 2011. I think the last one in my city somehow survived but eventually closed several years ago and I’m even amazed that it lasted so long considering everyone has a pc at home nowadays. I do sort of miss the old days though. It was so lively there and so fun and I made a lot friends there before everyone started getting a pc at home 🥲 It was such a joy to be able to smack your teammate with your keyboard if he was beating you in-game 😂 Haven’t seen or been to such a cafe in 17 years. Btw I live in Bulgaria 🇧🇬
We played a lot of games like CS 1.6, Diablo 2, Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft/Lineage (although I didn't play either one), mame32 when playing with a friend on the same pc :D and many others.
I played doom and quake 3 a bit too but it was sort of already dying by that time. And I did play age of empires 1, heroes of might and magic 3, etc., just forgot to mention them cause it’s been so long.

Uncle Jimmy's humor never disappoints. Another great video, also 10:08 caught me so off guard lol.
the kids that grow up here will be so much better adjusted and developed than most kids with pc's in their homes.
Very fun video!! This internet cafe reminds me of good old days in Singapore where I go to after school for SGD $1 an hour gaming sessions!!
It may have only been a second or two but at 0:09 on the right I can see a game of mine being played far across the world from me, stumbled upon this by chance. Truly epic 😀
Your meal looks delicious. Way better than cardboard pizza or a hotdog !!!
Internet Cafes were also part of my childhood growing up in latin america. Internet cafes used to be super popular since most people couldn't afford to have a computer and internet at home. it was awesome playing counter strike, warcraft with friends or just roaming around on gta. such great memories!
Congrats on reaching 400k subs! I remember when you were just a 91k baby less than a year ago lol
Thank you! It's a continuing journey!!!
I remember every Saturday & Sunday morning I used to walk to one of the internet cafe in my town and go back home at 6PM, dang, such a nostalgia, thanks for covering this topic.
Insane that rentals are still alive in Indonesia. Miss my highscool days. Sadly, most pc rentals in the Philippines are gone now because of mobile gaming.
Its same in Indonesia
So hard to find internet cafe rn
The golden era internet cafe in indonesia is 2008-2014, IMO
PC rental actually nothing to do with mobile games, its for PC gamer.. its two different market of gaming
@@ReddTNwrong. You still can find 6/7 in every city (internet gaming cafe). Just use google maps man.. you will find them available in every city
Jimmy you are just such a gift to the world
Bro, that's a lot of fun, the vibes is so homey, i enjoyed it, thank you
Well indonesia people are very kind and humble people I love how they all smile to the camera and treat you like you are one of them very nice people 🎉
My husband was the one who found your channel and now we are both fans. Sending regards from Chicago
Congrats on 400 K subs. You’re like the Korean son I always wanted to have. I’m so proud of you. When are you gonna make me a grandma? You’re so good with kids.❤😀❤
Love how he addresses everyone as a gentleman, pretty cool guy
haha jimmy is really like an uncle talking to random kids in the cafe
I'm Indonesian and I have visited Indonesia a bunch of times and this video is a perfect representation of Indonesia and I love how you showed great respect and how you explored the indonesian culture and the daily life of everyone
Thank you, Jimmy. Honestly, I'm impressed, because I'm also an internet cafe kid. Thank you once again for recommending the best internet cafe. Honestly, I was after seeing this video. 😊😊

;) wow . such a great content. really positive vibe and respectful. makes me really wanna come to Indonesia and check it out for myself. kamisamida.!!! from icy snowy cold Stockholm Sweden.
This internet cafe is luxurious ngl, waiting for some gaming champions from this cafe
Kurang banyak konten tentang indonesianya.harusnya eksplor setiap daerah di indonesia.setiap daerah di indonesia punya makanan autentik nya masing 2 .saya yakin akan menambah subscriber anda dari indonesia.semangat...
raftel is one of my favorites internet cafe in indonesia. thanks for coming jimmy😁
I loved, loved this video!! Was super wholesome and fun, thank you for sharing with us! :)
0:15 POINT BLANK!!
I know there must be a fancy premium cafe in Indonesia, but u decided to go to the outskirts one to show the other side of cafes. Kinda nostalgic, when u skip your highschool class back in the day to play games at a cafe
6:26 This is why even though I already have my own baby at home to play anything I want, I still often comes to internet cafe. You want to play together? just talk to them, introduce yourself then play. A few games later, you already become good friends, an experience you can't get if you only play in your room. 😛
Which country do you live in?? I wish USA had a PC Bang culture too!
@@FONK6969 I live in Indonesia 😁
Thanks jimmy this is bring back old memory as i often spend time in warnet in the past
9:36 broo, i'm not even joking. That is one of the most gorgeous cat i've ever seen in my life.
"How much for the cat?" 😂😂
Bro as a One Piece fan, Raftel Cafe sounds like the perfect name for a place like this hahaha! Love it!
Lol I love how the gentleman was watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Watching peak!
man i fuckin miss the vibe of internet cafes, the pandemic killed the demand in the philippines, but during my childhood its where a lot of us kids from troubled families spend time to play and watch anime
It was so lively there and so fun and I made a lot friends there before everyone started getting a pc at home 🥲
It was such a joy to be able to smack your teammate with your keyboard if he was beating you in-game 😂
Haven’t seen or been to such a cafe in 17 years. Btw I live in Bulgaria 🇧🇬
heard about them from my dad and how he used to play cs 1.6 alot there. im from bulgaria too
We played a lot of games like CS 1.6, Diablo 2, Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft/Lineage (although I didn't play either one), mame32 when playing with a friend on the same pc :D and many others.
@@kirilbarbov6949wow such old player dude, lucky you don't mention Doom, Quake, Warcraft 2 and age Of empire 2. Old games but very memorable
I played doom and quake 3 a bit too but it was sort of already dying by that time. And I did play age of empires 1, heroes of might and magic 3, etc., just forgot to mention them cause it’s been so long.
@@kirilbarbov6949 yeah I know, since CS 1.6 released, those games are replaceable. I was playing Doom last in 99 I guess
Wow another great video.
Food looked great.
Nice people.
Thanks once again
Surely Indonesian has cheaper internet cafe than Korean. But I like Korean/Japan internet cafe that more private and has good room to rest
of course, they design cafe for something else.
im here people just playing and come back to home
Bruh go to the premium one
In saudi internet cafes are pretty common with actually amazing pcs, 6.50 dollars an hour for me. Worth it honestly
8:21 😢
finally found a guy on youtube who actually has funny and entertaining content, thanks my dude.
Assakamualaikum Uncle jimmy
wa alaikum assalam my friend
@@jimmykimtv dammmmmmmmmmmmmmn
bro went straight to chatting with kids
yo that guy on the bed was pulling himself HAHAHAHA
I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for making it.
I thought this was shot in my country which is Philippines but it's not. I like how Philippines and Indonesia has a lot of similarities❤
glad to restarted and tried changing your content rather than giving up on content creation im glad that im seeing you from start good work and congratulations for 400k
Having a cat in the kitchen means there are no rats or mice. Cats are clean animals and they don't carry human diseases.
As a cat i approved this, we are cleaner than hooman 🐱
Man this takes me back.. I went to internet cafes like this to play online games a lot during my highschool years 😊
5:58 pc specs
The boy in VVIP room was doing some sus stuff 🌚
i absolutely love that he looks for specs in their pcs, I'm a pc building enthusiast so I like to explore pc build specs and I also want to start an internet cafe myself
It's awesome how similar yet diverse Southeast Asian countries are.
i remember when everyday i go to warnet and play point blank with my friend. man its been a long time
time flies
1080ti is a very good card for it's age.
i know the 970 was still rocking some games.
I'm watching this after watched the latest Rural Internet cafe video 💀
Damn, the gap is so different
Ngl you hit the right spot. It's amazing you can find your way to a place that will never be visited by any foreigners. This is not the rich established internet cafes, but not the poor run down either. Big prop for finding the perfect spot
super cool !! Che Guevara T-Shirt at 5:31??? LOL - Greetings from Argentina
