    If you wanna see authentic hard festivals, then go to Shikoku Island.
    Among tons of great festivals in Shikoku region, Niihama Taiko Festival and Matsuyama Autumn Festival are must to see.
    Both have more than 400 year tradition and are famous as fighting festivals. During the festival they are able to sacrifice their lives and not uncommon to see dead people. Very very dangerous festivals but that is the Japanese culture!

      Thanks for the recommendation! I never knew that there's more than one such festival in Japan. 😂

    Is there any feativals with alot of drinking and partying at night?

    • @theexcitedwanderer
      @theexcitedwanderer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, but it's not related to a festival. If you went to Japan during Halloween, it's one of the many holidays where there's partying and drinking everywhere. Stick to main cities like Tokyo for this though.

      @@cafedelmario No problems my friend, thanks for stopping by. Yeah drinking sake under the cherry blossom trees is a huge tradition in Japan but for partying and drinking, people really get wild on Halloween.
      I've made a video covering Halloween in Japan actually, if you'd like to check it out. Here's the link:
