I dont see a busy restaurant either for this video (including servers/waitresses/kitchen staff and managers...They ALL help bring dishes/etc to dish area as well help divide dishes/silverware, utensils and cooking ware) . Every restaurants works different and has different equipment/size machines.
Generally in a busy restaurant a conveyor doesn't need to be constantly turned on. The person washing the dishes is so busy that the conveyor is always running so you can put one dish rack right behind the other one.
so in other words... play ambient alternative rock while doing the dishes is legit and the most safest way to be sanitized, but playing progressive jazz is out of the question.. got it...
I started laughing around 7:32 it's exactly how my day goes lol your by yourself and swamped full of dishes, pans, pots, silverware and you have to take any other responsibilities the head chefs give you it's horrible.
Yeah. No one at Ecolabs has ever seen a good dishwasher lmao. It's taking kid more than half a second to run a GLASS through. Lol. Id have the whole pit knocked out in 5 minutes or less from what he's doing and I don't even do dish anymore
They are required to change gloves between handling dirty dishes and handling clean dishes. This is a procedure that is required no matter how busy a facility would be. The welfare of the customer always comes first.
***Don’t do it! Most restaurants have kitchens with toxic people; careless management; ONE dishwasher employee (you); and hard work will never be noticed!***
Personal protective equipment. The cleaning chemicals are pretty safe for casual contact on skin, but could become irritating over the course of a day, and probably wouldn’t feel that great if splashed in your eyes. Also, when dealing with used dishes and silverware, it’s a good idea to assume that one or more of your guests has something you don’t want to catch.
Dude... I promise you that it isnt impractical. I work way harder than this as a dishwasher/ delivery man/ food maker 6 out of 7 days. I'm sure you had a hard time but most of us aren't pussies.
+Anthony Ramirez Why would they do that - dishwashers normally have a disinfecting rinse. In addition if you disinfect washware before washing it, it is possible that it could pick up bacteria, during the wash cycle, which normally operates at a sub-leathal temperature with respect to many bacteria.
well, who ever signed off on this training video needed to be fired. get rid of the stupid music, have somebody actually talk instead of just the visuals. and yes im fully away this video is 11 years old

Agree with you there, I work for a business that's 200 year old and the cleaning area isn't as big as shown in the video.
David Frederick .
10:03 always read the instructions on your Quat test strips. Some say immerse for 10 seconds, others say to dip and immediately remove.
*I have never done a quat test once in years of dishroom.*
Dip 10 seconds. The compare to ppm 150-400

*Jazz makes the dishes a bit gritty, thus, unsanitary.*

Top fantástico essa empresa.
***Don’t do it! Most restaurants have kitchens with toxic people; careless management; ONE dishwasher employee (you); and hard work will never be noticed!***
It builds work ethic, character, and integrity. 3 of my dishwashers that I trained when they were 14 are now Chefs!
6:16 is how most dishwashers at my old job worked all the time, its disgusting
this is professional
Extremely unrealistic, no resteraunt is ever that clean (assuming its a popular and busy resteraunt)
Spike Wars! They aren't that clean because no one ever really cleans
What's with the googles and huge gloves? That's weird

Naw man You gotta bump Eminem. Lmfao all the dish pits I’ve ever been in are all hardcore Eminem fans. Eminem Know the dishwashing struggles.

Is this video game rush hard core speed? XD
This job is hell
Thank you sir

Ah ah comme si c étais si cool la restauration..,
This video makes me laugh . ecolab hooked up too a pipe in my hotel that when we in the kitchen use the mop sink. Several rooms lose water pressure .
That would be a problem for the company that installed the plumbing in the building, not ecolab
👏
I think I am the best and fastest dishwasher in the world 🌎 if any of you want we make challenge the competition 😏
muy impresionante
