I often find myself panicking when people are on respawn but I'm scared about what to do next. I think you outlined good points not just about the lane objectives but endgame too! Winning's a lot about forcing the enemy into those bad spawns so you can take full control!
Let me guess, dying to protect an objective that you would lose anyway, sometimes i get checked out by not diving a four man regileki push on the First Tower alone
That happens so many times with me on Rayquaza, mostly cuz I go to Ray while most of my team is fighting AWAY from Ray because I *know* a Couple of opponents are ripping Ray while my team is busy but I am the only one to show up and eventually get KOed. Why can't everyone just decide whether they wanna fight at Ray or away from Ray?! 🤬
@Airam originally like when the game first came out defeating dreadnaw made your entire team deal less damage to zaptos for like 2 minutes so when the last dreadnaw spawned if you defeated it right before zaptos spawned you were basically garenteed to loose the zaptos fight. Oh and the game never tells you this anywhere and the community had to figure it out for themselves and when they did after a while they finally changed it and removed the dreadnaw debuff
so glad someone finally made this video! hopefully this helps a lot of people and we can stop ignoring the team fight at ray and also stop inting before ray!
6:39 Hey Jake, I just wanted I point out the big bold letters at the bottom of yon chart. It says, "P and K together can not exceed 15s!" I believe this means the maximum additional KO timer you can get (earn?) From KOs and scoring is 15 seconds. That's so a lot though

Try to stall for time from a safe distance, if the enemies rip Ray anyway, try to steal it. If unsuccessful, try and score. There's nothing else to be done.
People need to watch this, most players even at master rank just don't know how to play Pokemon Unite, I'm stressing out almost 90% of the games just to try saves the game or signal them when to "retreat" and "gather". But people don't care obviously T.T
@@Carcosahead In the early days of Thea sky ruins, about a week since its release, Rayquaza had more health, the shields can be destroyed easier, and the scoring is a bit slower. Some coordinated players would even just back cap score and let the enemy take Ray so they can just destroy their shields after. Just watch any video from that first week and you'll see what I mean.
There's two decisions here: 1. Going for an objective right as Ray spawns without having much of an advantage in terms of levels/forward goals being up: bad decision 2. Given the bad decision (1) and that the enemy is also contesting the objective, using your Unite move to stay alive and possibly grab some KOs: good decision
To add on to this, don't go trying to score at a second tier goal right before the 2 minute mark either. You are risking having a long death timer before the Ray fight, and essentially putting your team a man down, and for what? More points? That will quickly get canceled out by your opponents getting Ray, and scoring a few hundred points at minimum. A stack? If you haven't fully stacked by now, then getting one stack isn't going to make a difference. Baiting the enemy to come get you? Two things can happen from that; either some of the enemy come to take you out, and while they might be a little late, they can still get back to their team faster than you can, or you are ignored, the full enemy team attacks yours knowing you are at their goal, and now you are left in a 1v4/5 scenario. TLDR, don't back cap right before/during the Ray fight, you most likely will die, and will throw the match.

Im surprised you didnt mention ray positioning either. Ive seen talibobo lose a game because they went for an uncontested bottom regi, the other team played for pit positioning, ripped ray on spawn and won the game off of that. So many things to consider for the fight that make it so, in solo q environments, taking that fight is rarely worth it. Also, for regi eleki walking, one thing people need to consider is, you dont just need it to walk, someone needs to cap off of that, which means the other team gets an easier or free ray. Can be a very good objective at 2mins, but def not one to die over 99% of the time
Don't backcap during Ray as a defender/carry/healer. The ONLY exception to this is if all enemies are KO'd and on a big enough timer. If you're playing a Pokemon vital to the team fight and you try to backcap at Ray, you're throwing the game. If you ARE a scoring Pokemon like Dodrio/Sableye/Greedent/etc, you shouldn't look for Ray backcaps unless two or more enemy Pokemon are KO'D and your Allies are healthy. Now I'll keep in mind that KOing enemy mons during or right before Ray is much more important than the Regis, thank you for this video! Yee Haw!

The respawn time is a discourage for good performing players, I usually get 35 seconds or more, when u get much Lv ahead u have to stay in a defensive playstyle to avoid get killed and give a bunch Xp to opposite and respawn close or after Rayquaza. I've been in situations that a managed to be Lv 15 around 7 minutes and had to stay in the bases avoiding fights because of this downside of being a carry. Feels like the game punishing u for playing great
Jake, can we get a video to teach people what to do if you lose Ray. Too many times I have teammates that try to score one at a time instead of trying to push as a team.
But when your entire team goes to regibot u have no choice, specially when u are the carry, if u go to get positioning your team gets killed and u have to face alone your enemies in the middle or try just to steal Rayquaza
Back when drednaw was bottom regi, it was definitely bait because a tiny bit more xp before Zapdos didn't make a big difference. But now that we have bottom regi provide bonuses, such as drastically increased def/sp def or atk/sp atk for your WHOLE TEAM, it's definitely not bait anymore before Rayquaza
If the other team doesn't fight for it, you give away your position if they were already positioned for ray. It happened to an opponent team of mine recently. We ambushed and deleted them in an instant on their way to ray. GG for getting the buff.
It is definitely still a bait. Especially in soloQ and if you're behind. Which is what the video explains. Putting all of your eggs in one basket right before Ray and losing the game before it even spawns is foolish in every way.
I can tell you how many times im playing bot games (like custom match with bots) and im desimating them. BUT i get to cocky and die right around 2:302:00 and im down pretty much the whole ray fight. and its just game. This situation is how i lose most of my very winnable games because i can start to auto pilot to much and not think carefully. So yeah very real issue XD gotta check your self
For the purpose of calculating respawn timer, the game quantifies "playing well" with the number of KOs (maybe assists can be factored in for Supporters and Defenders) and points scored since last respawn. Do you see a shortcoming in this rule?
When bees spawn, play from a distance until the location of enemy jungler is known. If the enemy jungler is in your lane and your own is in the other lane, best to retreat and let the enemies take the bees. Enemy jungler should think twice before taking you on on your goal pad.
I play with my girlfriend, like a lot lol and it took a while to understand what I would mean when we would be fighting 1 or 2 people around 230ish and I would say” let them live until 2 min” 😂 or when they would get greedy and score right before rayquaza and we’d wait until after and then take the easy KO 😈
I get annoyed when we KO 4/5 of the enemy team but everyone on the team is still dancing around ray instead of eating it Edit: Also it's irritating when teammates get mad at people getting KOed prior to 8 minutes to set up win conditions later - getting KOed that early does not matter that much if you gain something from it. Conversely, defending an outer goal with 2 points left (and the siegers have like 4 points to dunk) at the cost of your life is goofy. I usually give up the goal if it's obviously going to be broken with minimal overcap Seeing people defend outer goal against regieleki when it has exactly 20 points left is also depressing lol, just keep enemies from scoring before eleki gets in and then let it go in sheesh
@spoon bender no you moron.... if you are so far ahead you can both rotate that means your enemy is behind... if you let them farm and score for free your lead disappears. It's basic MOBA knowledge, learn something

@@shubhamjohri290 Yeah. But most of the time EVERYONE should rotate to objectives, especially first bot regi. Losing a T1 goal is fine and the earlier you lose it the better, especially if you have a scaling lane.

@@AlainS9570 Staying alive is the best answer no matter what. If everyone gets KO'd, who's going to get Ray? Look at the levels and KO counts of both teams before a big fight. That will give you a good idea of who has an advantage and the biggest threats you'll need to control. If the enemy team is way ahead, joining a late Regi fight before Ray will always be a mistake.
You should probably accompany your team if you are a Supporter/Defender (at the same time, vigorously ping to retreat from the objective). You can save lives at the Regi fight but if you don't go, your lone presence at Ray while the rest are KOed basically means nothing. Don't expect miraculous Egg Bomb steals. Feels like the game punishing u for playing great
Thank U this is honestly the biggest problem in unite.
Yes even more so then Doggo or Dodrio having 3 hats... THREE HATS!!!
But now that we have bottom regi provide bonuses, such as drastically increased def/sp def or atk/sp atk for your WHOLE TEAM, it's definitely not bait anymore before Rayquaza
it for sure can be bait. if played wrong you lose the game for a buff
Zapdos positioning. Ahh, the good ole days.
THE MERA is a long-term metaverse gaming project that is on my radar
I'm excited to try out its upcoming features
I can tell you how many times im playing bot games (like custom match with bots) and im desimating them. BUT i get to cocky and die right around 2:30 2:00 and im down pretty much the whole ray fight. and its just game.
This situation is how i lose most of my very winnable games because i can start to auto pilot to much and not think carefully.
So yeah very real issue XD gotta check your self
I feel like it’s bad for the game to punish the ones playing well. But considering that “playing well” is weird in this game, it’s hard to quantify
For the purpose of calculating respawn timer, the game quantifies "playing well" with the number of KOs (maybe assists can be factored in for Supporters and Defenders) and points scored since last respawn. Do you see a shortcoming in this rule?
The win Con is always Rayquaza. To bad me and one other person on the tean realizes this.
Been loving these more macro-oriented videos, great content as always spragels
Why is there still no balance patch?
Got a video about that coming soon
Looking forward to it 😍
Once happened I had 230 points, 18 KO, 0 D, lvl 15 and enemy team just came in to kill me in time 2:18 and res. timer was 46s. :D
Can you please talk more about how to
stop getting ganked
When bees spawn, play from a distance until the location of enemy jungler is known. If the enemy jungler is in your lane and your own is in the other lane, best to retreat and let the enemies take the bees. Enemy jungler should think twice before taking you on on your goal pad.
great video spragels!!
The office green screen 🥸👌🏼
3rd Drednaw vibes in here... Some players will never learn haha
Registeel is a death star confirmed.
I like this educational content
I appreciate this video so much!! Thanks spragels

Biggest trap in pokemon unite is the game itself
I play with my girlfriend, like a lot lol and it took a while to understand what I would mean when we would be fighting 1 or 2 people around 230ish and I would say” let them live until 2 min” 😂 or when they would get greedy and score right before rayquaza and we’d wait until after and then take the easy KO 😈
I love playing unite baked
Someone has a active squad i can join?
I think the bigger bait is Boss Rush ngl
urshifu dark please
I dont wanna tell you how much elo these goofballs lost me...
I get annoyed when we KO 4/5 of the enemy team but everyone on the team is still dancing around ray instead of eating it
Edit: Also it's irritating when teammates get mad at people getting KOed prior to 8 minutes to set up win conditions later - getting KOed that early does not matter that much if you gain something from it. Conversely, defending an outer goal with 2 points left (and the siegers have like 4 points to dunk) at the cost of your life is goofy. I usually give up the goal if it's obviously going to be broken with minimal overcap
Seeing people defend outer goal against regieleki when it has exactly 20 points left is also depressing lol, just keep enemies from scoring before eleki gets in and then let it go in sheesh
Please tell people to stay in their lane, like both people can't rotate and just let the enemy whose losing the lane get free scores and farm
Both people can absolutely rotate. Losing a tier 1 goal = getting free farm on your side of the map
@spoon bender no you moron.... if you are so far ahead you can both rotate that means your enemy is behind... if you let them farm and score for free your lead disappears.
It's basic MOBA knowledge, learn something
@@spoonbender3062 You also lose positioning for objectives, goal healing and increased movement speed in the lane when your forward goals are destroyed. So losing a forward goal is not all fine and dandy.
@@shubhamjohri290 Yeah. But most of the time EVERYONE should rotate to objectives, especially first bot regi. Losing a T1 goal is fine and the earlier you lose it the better, especially if you have a scaling lane.
And please, please, please, LET IT GO TO THE TIER IF IT ISNT WALKING IN TO THE HOME TIER! How many games have I lost because it’s 4v5 in this pit while someone’s defending a goal that’s gonna be lost anyway when we LOSE THE ENTIRE GAME! 🤦♂️
Can we pls implement your videos in the game? 😂
U know, Jake. When your teammates are going there and the enemy is also there... You can't just let them die like that.
Yeah I know. I don’t suggest you do that in this video
Alain, I think you need to think more critically about how the game works.
@@pumpkin7446 I know it's a bait, but I really don't know how to react when my teammates go there and all enemies are there. Should I secure vision or eventual kills for after that bait fight by staying in the ray zone or should I go and hope to kill the enemy there? I really don't know.
A lot of solo queue is about adapting to the stupidity perpetrated by fellow players.
Rock and Steel are pronounced Regi Rock and Regi Steel, but why do some people say Rej-Ice instead of Regi Ice?
Because it’s regice. Not regi ice
Classic 3rd Dreadnaw
Love your vids
thank you
I actually got a 60 second Ko in fact 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sadly you make really helpful, informational videos such as this and people will probably still do what you're advising them not to.
In a sense for me, this is the same categorie as req. you can do well, get it stolen and then get fucked up, by the buff you got stolen xD
P.S. If i see Regiice, I usually dont even care.
Regiloss
Nice video
Preach 🙌
Ahh yes, I'm losing because we are trying to get the last regi while talonflame is off trying to back cap, Cinderace is chipping Ray for the opposition and our defender has gone afk after a game of thanks pings. Good to know.
In all seriousness, good video, I think most of the time I play to stop them getting it as opposed to trying to secure myself.
What?
@@pumpkin7446 what what?
I was making a joke about fighting for regi is making me lose as opposed to team mates off doing their own thing.
@@seanfellows672 If you're getting KO'd at the Regi before Ray, then it proves Jake's point.
Your teammates might be doing foolish things, but that doesn't mean that you aren't making a mistake too.
@@pumpkin7446 buddy, it was a joke. If you read my comment I say it's a good video, and that whilst I don't always try and secure regi, I do try to be a nuisance to stop them from getting it.
How are you trying for last Regi at the same time as Cinder chips Ray? Regis despawn when Ray spawns. I know it was a joke but couldn't help pointing out...
We need 5 fetcher in pokemon unite
1.mission and after battle reward increas
2.gender change (you have some gils clotch in clotch)
3.move change in practice qrea
4.opponent rank must be shown
5.as like all moba autochess
#weneed5fea. Spam in next live sterqm of unite
Also like this so spragles must make video on it
You forgot something that I also did, but definitely you replaced something from the old list
why do you want a gender change?
@@kevinkarthik3329 we had some girls clotch in clotch section
@@kevinkarthik3329 i have no idea why, probably because of that cool V pose girls have and he also wants it
No se wey

I miss 5 stacking. Just don't have the time to find a team this year.
I miss these instructional videos. Lately it's just fights from your streams with clickbaiy titles so I skip them.
I will never understand people's childish hate for clickbait.
Especially if it's a creator they enjoy watching that makes income from TH-cam.
