Good video with some nice editing 👍 In my defender I have installed a button that that switches the relay that connects the car and aux battery. In case of a flat battery I just hit the button and I can start the car. No more need for starter cables. You should check if you have that option on your dc-dc charger.
Thanks! We had that before but with the new auxiliary electrical setup we didn't keep the IBS and this is the easiest way for us as the large lithium aux battery should always be ok if needed for starter help.
I have a dual battery set up with fia type kill switch so batteries can be connected when winching or can be connected to prove a jump start if main battery drains.
Absolutely we also had similar with the IBS dual battery management system with our previous setup. The new one we have is very different and we didn't keep the IBS.
Winter tires are on since fall ;) what certainly drained the starter battery is cold weather + not using the car for few weeks + old AGM starter battery of about 10 years.

Ok did I miss a video to where you change the tires? Were you able to figure out what drained the battery?
