I prefer doing it in reverse and starting with the high numbers first because you have more stuff in the begining lol I don't mind the instant gratification either😂
hello, I'm commenting here on your most recent video - 'I can't do this anymore' - I'm so sorry that your passion is being threatened by greed. Please take the time you need for you and know that we are always here for when you are strong and ready to continue. More power to you x
I commented on your recent video but comments were turned off. You have helped so many people already. I am heart broken that you are still experiencing this. I have heard this same youtube experience from other content creators on various subjects. This seems to be a common occurence. I am thinking of you. I think most of us understand and sympathize with you. You need to do whatever works for your own best interest. We will be here for the long haul. You have so many fans. If you need a long break... you do what works for you. Thank you for all you do. You are great!
I stopped counting, but I think I nailed it for January, I took 2 garbage bags of stuff to the donation center, a grocery size bag of old meds to CVS. Then I tackled my closet, threw things in the laundry to donate next time, then…. And this is the big one….. I finally decluttered my acrylic paints. This required me to examine every tube to see if it was still good or needed to be tossed. Probably over 100 tubes and dozens of brushes are now in my car waiting to be donated to a recreational center. I have also decided to try to sell on marketplace some of my depression glass, if it does not sell, I will donate it to our library for their annual auction. You have been such an inspiration to me. My home is my sanctuary, I enjoy being here, I love living minimal. I paint watercolor and sketch. That’s my thing! ….. and I drink tea! Next….. I watched your post today (Jan 31), know you are loved and appreciated, the comments were turned off, but I’m too determined to let that stop me from telling you how I feel. ❤ Linda from Dallas, PA drinking decaf black tea.
I just saw the other video about the YT problem. I think you should sic a lawyer on them. Make them prove their claim. I’m sorry that they’re doing this to you and I hate that you’re so hurt. We do love you! Hugs!! ❤
Through a long and difficult chapter of life, I learned that Hope and Encouragement to a struggling person is the ultimate gift of support. So thank you for these invaluable gifts to all of your struggling subscribers. And may we offer you hope and encouragement to try to work this situation out. If you need to change venues, let us know and we will find you. 💜
I played the Minimalists 30-day game when I first watched them. You had some very helpful items on the list I didn't think about such as paper clutter. Lest we forget to check expired food and medications. I even got to the point at the last of counting old pins and paper clips!😅
I just wanted to let you know that this thirty day game has helped me a lot. I've been able to get rid of a lot of craft supplies that i've been hanging on to for years. Today is day fifteen. I have been trying to work ahead. I'm starting on day twenty one.😂😂
Hi there Robyn ! you got me..... when I watched your video, I thought that it was not for me, there was no way I could declutter this amount of items in a month. Then I went to my home office and saw the two left-over bins from my previous decluttering effort. Oh.... then I sat at the computer and noticed the overflowing inbox. I also had a notification that my cloud space was close to the limit (hundreds of photos, most of them meaningless or duplicates). Long story short, I downloaded the tracker and began by removing a gift from my first boss in 1979 (you are allowed to laugh), a really pretty container for bath salts, never used and never displayed as I dislike baths, just taking space in the vanity. All my clutter is hidden but it takes space. What a month February will be ! Thank you for being so generous and inspiring !
I have been decluttering my paper clutter (old tax forms, obsolete warranty information, product manuals for items we no longer own) - talk about freedom!!!! Love it
I have done this before...I found that If I go room by room to do this in...that way you have declutter most of your house in a month! If you find that in that one room that you don't have anything else to declutter...you are done with that room...so move to the next room!! If there is something you are unsure about...put it in a box...if you get it back out of the box to use...put it away....and if you do not use it with in that month of decluttering....get rid of it because you aren't using it!!~~A couple of months ago...I took 20 garbage bags and 6 boxes to the good will...this is not including trash that I got rid of...it was a dump trailer load!! So I am doing this again this month and see what I have by Spring to let go of!! :D Good luck everyone!!! Have fun!!
This is so perfect, I was planning on doing a 30 day declutterring challenge for February and now I have a tracker. Thank you and I will update on how I’m doing, great way to stay accountable.
I have been watching more decluttering videos lately and I was watching a couple more of yours and came across this one. I decluttered my small linen/extra food closet yesterday and decluttered over 50 items. And I realized that today is June 2nd so that means I accidentally started the 30 day challenge; backwards. Wish me luck on the challenge for June way over here in Newfoundland!! 😃
'This is the way' I started my decluttering journey (in September of 2020) too. I got my family of 3 involved to make it even more fun/easy and I took the hardest days (Day 3, 6, 9, etc.) because it way my big idea. My partner wasn't excited about decluttering but he wanted to be involved and play the game with us so he was assigned the easiest days (1, 4, 7, etc.) and my daughter took Day 2, 5, 8, etc.
I am starting today! 🤩thx for the big tip about decluttering digital and paper things that last week. By Leap Day, Feb. 29th, this place should look so much better. Thx again ❤
I find your channel inspiring. You have a fun, charming personality…. I did this challenge and have some insights. It gets harder as days go by. Be careful not to declutter something you may want in return. I suggest preparing before you begin. Spend time thinking and looking what you want to declutter. You may not be able to declutter daily. I did it on weekend and added up the items to declutter. I stopped at about day 23 because I did it daily and ran out of what to declutter.
In 2018, my daughter couldn't get the filing cabinet closed, so she could use her dad's computer (he had passed away the year before). I grabbed a stack of files, dumped them in a laundry basket, and shut the drawer for her. I bought a filing system called FreedomFiler and began setting up a new way to be organized. The thrown out papers usually needed to be shredded, so I put another laundry basket in front of the shredder. In the end, 12 garbage bags of shredded paper left my house! I still have a lot more to do, but I'm not going to count items. I'm going to say, "Did I spend 30 minutes decluttering today? The BIG job will be the gallon jug plus a 6 cup container of change in my storage building. I know just where the money will go and what an accomplishment! I'm going to begin April 1st (no foolin') on this plan. Will keep you informed. That will be 15 hours of decluttering.
I’ve done this before. It was fun and challenging. On the last day I got rid of several dry cleaning hangers to help get to 31. I started in early January decluttering again. I’m ready to let go of all my seasonal decorations except for a few Christmas things. Also working on letting go of some of the decorations I display year round. I know that minimalist will make my life easier, but why do I struggle with letting go of decor so much? 😫
I started the game january 1. definitely hit the resistance end of 3rd week- kind of fell off towards the end. Ill declutter again tomorrow and add up what i was able to do this month. I definitely will start fresh February
This may be a silly question, but would you take each item(s) each day to the donation place or would you wait until you fill a box and take it to a donation center? It seems a waste of time and gas to take one item to the donation place, but I have heard you need to get the item out of the house ASAP when you have decided to get rid of it to prevent a change of mind
I’m so sorry about your analytics. Several other creators are complaining about the same thing. Kyra Ann even posted about it on the community page. I wish there was something we as the viewers could do to complain to TH-cam. If they dont want us watching the ads then why do they have them. And if we want to binge watch a channel why should that affect the channel negatively. Sounds like you guys should band together and maybe reach out to one of the law channels for help. Something must be up because yours is definitely not the only channel affected. Im praying things work out for you and this gets resolved. ❤
I prefer doing it in reverse and starting with the high numbers first because you have more stuff in the begining lol I don't mind the instant gratification either😂
I think that’s a fun way too!
That's my method as well.😊
That’s a great idea. I might try that too.
I do this too. There is usually more motivation at the beginning and will wain as the month progresses.
I’m just getting on here all proud of myself because I did exactly this. 30,29,28 items boxed up to donate.

Robyn! It's March and I'm going at it again... asking my family to join me! Thanks so much for being AWESOME!!!
Exciting!!! 🎉🥴

Bless you! SO strange because I have never turned comments off before and yet they were automatically turned off...strange.

I like to do the game in reverse because I have the most energy and motivation at the start!
Totally love that
With moving Ive decluttered well over a thousand items! I’ll do the 30 day challenge after we move

This has helped me so much! I was even able to get rid of some of my son's third grade school work. Oh did I mention he's twenty three now😮
Oh well done!
I am up for the challenge!! I already have 4 boxes to go but I am not going to count them. 🙃

Awesome! You can do it month after month if you want! 🧡

So exciting. Like a treasure hunt! I got over enthused and did through day 5. I have to pace myself. 😂❤
Robyn, I hope things start turning around for you and please know I’m thinking of you. ❤

Starting today. Going to do days 1-4 of February so I can catch up! Thanks for the inspiration. 🎉

I love this tracker🥰 I definitely want to eventually become a Swedish 💀 cleaner 😆
I've done this before, and it is super helpful. I always love a tracker! I'll start again February 1.
Yayy! It’s so fun!

Don’t lose heart. Refocus. Refuse to give up. Has nothing to do with this video. Your heart is so more important !!!!!!
I'm already pretty minimal already but I love games
Games are fun!
I'm in!
I’m in!🙋♀️
Enjoy nature and ask God for strength to do what you love. He is awesome and will give you the love and guidance you need.💕
I'm going to do this
yayyy!

I personally would just take it in as needed (including how much space I had as I decluttered)
Only 29 days in February Robyn… 😂. Did it in January…
We will end on March 1 ☺️
I started doing this…. But then I lost track lol because I was going out of order In the calendar lol
Haha, I did that once too
I’m so sorry about your analytics. Several other creators are complaining about the same thing. Kyra Ann even posted about it on the community page. Anyway to introduce how to delutter and make a profit? Not just trash or donate
I sell some things on Facebook marketplace if they’re worth over $30
I do this but in reverse i start with 30
I could probaby find 30 crayons or pens to declutter... old hats , mittens, Christmas decor...hmmm
Yes! There are hundreds of things we can let go of and it’s never over, even for myself and others who have been doing this for years! ✅
You're the cutest little thing.ARE those chocolate drops? I won't last day!
Ha ha, can a sheet of paper count? I've shredded probably 500 sheets of paper so far, old bank and financial records.
Yes!!! Paper is tricky! Congratulations!
The same thing that is happening to you on TH-cam is also to the TH-cam “the Mac’s” and “living on a dime”
