Rummage around mom or grandma's jewelry box, clip on earrings. Have an old necklace? Cut it up and use the old jump rings that keep it together. Go through an old tool box and there might be some pliers. It's not always about what you can buy, but what you can come up with just laying around the house!
I have all of these things on hand. They are really not that absurd for crafts and if you had to buy them it wouldn't cost more than $10, less with coupons which are always out there.
Usually DIY's on youtube look homemade and I can't see them fitting into a more mature wardrobe (oh god I'm only 23) but this is really cute and can easily be dressed up or down, I might actually try this one!
