Her and Ado's singing voice are almost identical.
Before everyone misunderstand my comment, what I meant was because of Amalee singing voice, she is able to sing and match Ado's song perfectly
This makes me so mad that we don’t have this in the movie.hope someone will eventually do a version with her songs

I’ve literally been addicted to the OST since I watched the movie, your covers are like the cherry on top.
Is it weird to say that I feel like you've really hit your niche with this particular style of singing? It really highlights all the things you can do with your voice, and you're able to put the right emotion into it so it literally gives me chills at certain points.
I loved the movie, and I love the original by Ado, but this is so freaking good too. It makes me wish they had dubbed the songs as well. I'm really looking forward to hearing more!

Completely agree, get why they did it with how dubbing songs usually goes over with most instances but we've got more than enough proof right here that Amalee wouldve done the songs more than enough justice to be worth doing

They are basically not even covers but versions.
@@tetsuyatsurugi9250 exactly. They're just the English version of the song, cuz AmaLee adapts them so well and performs them masterfully.
But they also aren't just a copy, she still makes it her own song, with her own unique voice and style.
The lyrics are the same ones you see in the movie. Even better that she is Uta's dub actress. When a blu ray release happens, I'm hoping Crunchyroll/Funimation will let her record with the original instrumental in the movie.

I like that you didn't try to mimic the same things Ado does with her voice, and made changes to better suit your own voice. You still did the growls to keep the same general vibe, but you didn't do the higher pitched voice breaks that Ado does (not sure what to call those). Very good cover in my opinion. 👍

She tried to mimic everything, rather successfully, except adding off-putting grunts when Ado's voice goes stronger than she can reach. Are you deaf?

This is a phenomenal English/Western recreation that doesn’t tarnish the message/impact of the song.

This was originally supposed be in the English dub like most of the other languages sing their songs in their native languages in the if I remember correctly they wanted to promote ado to the west so English and 2-3 other languages got the Japanese ones

I wanna also shout out to the lyricist Brina Palencia, bc I know it's not easy trying to balance accurate staying accurate to the translation while trying to make sure it doesn't bog down the singing and how things normally sound in English. One thing I love about these covers is how you can work out what the emphasis of each song is meant to be, something you can't determine just from reading the lyrics online.

I love it when the voices of the characters from my favorite franchises sing. It's so much fun getting to hear them more, and it let's me see the actor and characters in a light we wouldn't be able to see them on the show or game. It also lets me connect to them more when I sing along. 🎵 I've always been a sucker for stuff like that, even when I was a kid.
I will say this is one of the best covers i have ever heard, because I have both this and the original song playing on split screen and holy molly it sounds amazing with the original vocals blending with Ama's vocals, and I will say that Ama nailed Ado's style of singing so well.
This is a good reflection of Fleeting Lullaby. Not only in tone, but in visuals. Everything is stable and focused due to it being a song of anger and determination. The other is chaotic and happy, since the Uta has utter control of the sing sing world and doesn't even need to care when she succeeds there.
