The role Uta was perfect for her; there's some similarities AmaLee has. Uta sought to bring happiness to others with her singing. She could control the sing sing world, creating whatever she wanted. AmaLee makes these covers to share with everyone, which bring us happiness. Her avatar appears in the stories of other heroes, with her Monarch story about changing them overarching it.

I assure you she can sing along, just google the lyrics in romaji for her, it's 2022. Print them out if you must, let her figure out the pronunciation as she listens. Kids learn fast. I've been singing songs in Japanese since I was 8 thanks to the Internet－that was 20 years ago. Don't deprive your daughter of readily available lyrics just because they're not in English. Most of the best songs aren't 😆

I left the theater after seeing the English Dub of FilmRED (I saw the sub at the showing before) with a bug in my ear and wondering why all I wanted now was to hear AmaLee doing covers of the songs. It was about three days later when I caught a replay of her interview with CBS and found out she was Uta's English VA. Then I knew why. So, yay, earwig is happy.

One Piece has always been my absolute favorite story/anime throughout my life. The day the announcement was made that my favorite Multiverse Queen was going to voice not just any character, but the MAIN character, Uta, in the next major film, I was absolutely blown away with excitement and joy because I knew you'd nail it. After watching the film, I can confidently say that not only did the film live up to my hype, but your performance as Uta did too. You absolutely CRUSHED it! Your performance gave Uta so much life, it was obvious how much effort you put in and how much fun you must have had within the role. To drive it home even further, this New Genesis cover is absolutely phenomenal! As I'm currently listening to it at work, I can't help but bob up and down in my seat. It's an absolute shame they couldn't have used it within the dubbed version because it would have fit in perfectly. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your hard work and dedication that you bring to your roles and your fans, it truly does not go unappreciated 💜🦋 💜🦋 💜🦋
I am a Japanese UTA fan. I've been waiting for the English cover of the female version of "New Genesis". I've never heard of her before, but I love her voice, which is on par with Ado's in the original song! The music video is also very elaborate and wonderful.

Amalee is a perfect voice match for Uta she brought the same emotion and feel of the sub and this cover is excellent and equal to the Japanese its awesome
I do hope someone really switch Ado’s versions with AnaLee’s on an unofficially version of the movie. I love ado, but Amalee really deserves her voice as far as her singing voice showed the world not just on TH-cam with 2 million, just everywhere

At 1:15 and 2:42, the lyrics on that slide say "Just Let Me Live Inside A Dreamland" when they should say what you sing, "Just Wanna Live Inside a Dreamland." Perfectly understandable, so no worries. As someone who prefers the One Piece dub, you did an amazing job as Uta. While it is unfortunate that they opted not to dub the songs officially especially because you can actually sing, having the voice actress actually sing it herself is still FANTASTIC! Amalee can sing, but the problem is that with most of her covers: you can easily listen to the original and her versions usually pale in comparison imo. I left the theater after seeing the English Dub of FilmRED (I saw the sub at the showing before) with a bug in my ear and wondering why all I wanted now was to hear AmaLee doing covers of the songs. It was about three days later when I caught a replay of her interview with CBS and found out she was Uta's English VA. Then I knew why. So, yay, earwig is happy.

One Piece has always been my absolute favorite story/anime throughout my life. The day the announcement was made that my favorite Multiverse Queen was going to voice not just any character, but the MAIN character, Uta, in the next major film, I was absolutely blown away with excitement and joy because I knew you'd nail it. After watching the film, I can confidently say that not only did the film live up to my hype, but your performance as Uta did too. You absolutely CRUSHED it! Your performance gave Uta so much life, it was obvious how much effort you put in and how much fun you must have had within the role. To drive it home even further, this New Genesis cover is absolutely phenomenal! As I'm currently listening to it at work, I can't help but bob up and down in my seat. It's an absolute shame they couldn't have used it within the dubbed version because it would have fit in perfectly. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your hard work and dedication that you bring to your roles and your fans, it truly does not go unappreciated 💜🦋 💜🦋 💜🦋

Fantastic cover, amazing vocals and outstanding lyrical adaptation by Brina Palencia. One thing to note though, but I spotted a minor error in the lyrics. At 1:15 and 2:42, the lyrics on that slide say "Just Let Me Live Inside A Dreamland" when they should say what you sing, "Just Wanna Live Inside a Dreamland." Perfectly understandable, so no worries. As someone who prefers the One Piece dub, you did an amazing job as Uta. While it is unfortunate that they opted not to dub the songs officially especially because you can actually sing, having the voice actress actually sing it herself is still FANTASTIC! Now I’m just hoping someone takes your covers and just splices them into the English version of the movie.
I'm glad they left the original versions as is, those songs did NOT need dubbing and Ado could use the exposure in the west.

Amalee can sing, but the problem is that with most of her covers: you can easily listen to the original and her versions usually pale in comparison imo.
