    Overall really happy with this recipe and followed it exactly, however it doesn't bubble/fizz in the bath the way bath bombs usually do - just slowly melts and breaks apart. Is there anything I have to do to help make them fizz?

    Hi, this is a great recipe and is working great for me. The consistency and the hardness of the bath bomb was awesome. I have sealed the bath bomb after 24hrs with cling wrap. But the 4th day it seems to be bit softer than before. I guess the Epsom salt is absorbing moisture from the air. Is there any substitute for Epsom salt in this recipe? Appreciate your help. Thanks

    How do you package your Bath Bombs?? Love you Em!

    • @UntidyArtist
      @UntidyArtist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are actually three ways I package them. A lot of it depends on if I have to ship them or not. If they are simply for friends, I place them in a small bag (I worked for LUSH Cosmetics for about 4 years and this is how packages them at their store). If I am shipping them or giving them as a gift, I package them a bit more fancy! Would you like a tutorial?! Thank you for your kind words and support! xo

      You can absolutely do without the SLSA. The difference in the bath bomb is that it will only only fizz and not foam. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Hey i dont want to use alcohol rubbing spray. So can i not use alcohol rubbing alcohol? And what is the substitute for alcohol rubbing spray

    • @UntidyArtist
      @UntidyArtist  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use Rubbing Alcohol because most of it evaporates and it does not cause the bath bomb to start fizzing before it gets to the bath tub! You could also use witch hazel or distilled water. I always make mine with the rubbing alcohol, if you try them without it, let me know how it works out! Happy crafting! :)

      You can just leave the SLSA out if you don’t have it! The bath bombs will just fizz instead of bubble up and fizz. Hope this helps. 💕

    Does having Epsom salt in the recipe tend to draw moisture into your bombs? I live in a pretty humid climate.

      Thanks for your reply! I have been thinking about tweeking my recipe to include Epsom salt because it helps harden. However I always thought that that would not be a good idea in the humid area where I live. I appreciate the feedback😊
