Frankie Valli was great in the Sopranos. He was short like Scarfo, looks like Scarfo and even has the same voice. It’s a shame he’s too old now. Danny DeVito as Harry Riccobene. Michael Imperioli looks like both Chuckie Merlino and his son Joey.

If you know anyone willing to attempt a movie/pilot, i'd be down to audition for either Nicky or Harry (I'm a short actor from NYC..5'6 and would take this seriously).
I might also be able to provide photography, help with directors, casting etc.
As for funding, there are plenty of ways to make a film on a very limited budget and we can try to initially use phones to film experimentally to see if it's worth to upgrade equipment, quality etc.

This excellent segment on Nick Scarfo and the Philly Mob features terrific interviews with former Philadelphia Police Captain Francis Friel, who was a legend in Philly. While there was certainly corruption in the Philly Police Dept., Frank Friel was not only a straight-arrow, with incredible personal and professional integrity, but he was really the main person responsible for the downfall of the Philly Mob. Friel graduated from Philadelphia’s Frankford High School and began his nearly three-decade-long police career in 1960. He eventually led the Organized Crime Task Force, which worked out of FBI headquarters in Philadelphia and collaborated with state police investigators from Pennsylvania and New Jersey in fighting the city’s powerful mob. The task force helped prosecute more than 60 organized crime figures including Scarfo, Harry Riccobene, and Salvatore Merlino. Inquirer reporter Thomas J. Gibbons Jr., a police officer-turned-journalist, recalled Friel as personable and flexible. “He could interact with all kinds of people, be it law enforcement or the bad guys, and through that, he could bring these cases to a successful conclusion,” Gibbons said. Frank Friel passed away from cancer in 2014.

@@stefanbailie2143 yah, Vario was only a Capo, one of many. It’s not like Burke was hanging with Tony Ducks. Joe Watts isn’t Italian either, and he had a much bigger role with the Gambinos than Burke ever did with the Luccheses. Burke was obviously no joke, but he gets overhyped due to Goodfellas. Like I said, Hugh McIntosh was Irish and was with Carmine Persico all the time, yet most have never even heard of him. People tend to focus their attention wherever the media/movies shine the spotlight.

@@jimmymcgill8412 masterminding the largest cash robbery in US History and being responsible for more hijackings at JFK than any other crew along with all the other countless scores (ie Air France etc) would certainly have helped him gain respect and favour with the leadership of the Lucchese.
You have to remember as well that given the fact that Jimmy wasn't a made member he could wield influence with other crews and criminal organisations (eg the Westies) much more fluidly than solely Italian members
