They still do stories like this, I just watched one last week on Cartels. They were also political back then too, that's nothing new. Fox was started by Murdoch to counter a perceived left wing bias by CNN. There are still news outlets who are not political though, like Reuters and Euronews, but most people want political bias in their news, hence why FOX and CNN are so popular.

Bulger ratted on the Italian mob with the intent of destroying it, not just because he had legal trouble. Michael wasn't doing it out of spite, he was facing legal trouble and tried not to incriminate anyone.
Also, Bulger was at war with the Genovese family specifically. And it just so happened, he was a cripple in the same prison as a Genovese associate hitman. Even if he didn't rat on Cosa Nostra, he was going to die in that prison for having been at war with them anyway.
If Michael intentionally and irreparably hurt an Italian mob family, and then got stuck in the same prison with them as a cripple, he'd be dead too. But he was never a massive target or priority because he was trying to not cause them any trouble or get in their way, and he was actively taking counter-measurers making it difficult for them anyway.
And let's keep in mind the fact that Cosa Nostra was starting to fall apart at that time. They were more concerned with surviving and dealing with problems at their own doorsteps. Michael 100% would've been dead long ago had they wanted it enough.

Wait a minute is that cop the same one they used in the movie goodfellas? I think they used the actual investigator who locked up Henry and put him in witness protection

If frazese was never on the hook for murder, how much time was he facing when he ratted? Sometimes you can understand the guys facing life doing it, but he wasn’t facing that was he?

The truth is that if you not scared of those so called mob guys, they won't be able to harm you. It's the people that are scared of them are the ones who end up paying them street taxes and all but they don't talk about how many hit guys were killed while trying to kill someone.

5:20 That is not true at all...That's how people used to see it but it's not true that you have to delete someone....You do have to prove yourself loyal, but it doesn't always involve that one aspect and it's ridiculous to think otherwise....

I never said he wasn’t a decent person. I read his book back in the day and stumbled across news articles and videos contradicting a lot of the story.
How am I a hater for asking questions about a successful ex-mafia member turned podcaster? The videos of Michael and Sammy The Bull testifying in a senate hearing are interesting to me! I’m a fan of boxing.
It’s disappointing to know that some of the legendary fighters threw fights for $. Had zero to do with Michael Franzese.
Michael working with the feds takes nothing away from what he did in life and after he flipped!
He didn’t put dozens of people in prison like other informants. As far as we know. You never see me putting “rat” in the Michael Franzese videos.
If someone asks me if he was an informant, I can’t lie to them. There are news articles, documents, videos dating back to the late 1980’s.
This is nothing new. I didn’t expect him to go on VladTV to deny what we all saw on video. That’s insulting the audience’s intelligence.
