    I'm amazed that customer service monitor comments and actually reply! My first question is, why cant i use it on an ongoing basis. What harm can it do? People who have dentures need something that can be used on a regular basis, forever!!! Going to the dentist is very expensive. If i try this i would want it for a full upper denture. Obviously the amount shown is for a lower denture and it only just fills it. Do you make it for uppers or do i have to buy it twice to do the job? Having dentures comes with the ongoing problem of having to use these products daily, so having something that lasts is a must. If possible can you make it so that we can continue to use it as needed?

      Hi Deborah, these are great questions! To address your first question, while we do have many customers who have used Reline-It consistently for a very long time with no issues, as a company, we cannot recommend prolonged, long-term use as this is not consistent with the best practice recommendations of the ADA.
      Regarding your second question, yes there are 2 liquid packets and 2 powder packets in each box of Reline-It and each contains enough to reline either a top or bottom denture. We recently updated this instructional video, which shows the process a little more clearly and may be helpful understand a little better. (th-cam.com/video/XMEzNFnG3oo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YJTME9KtnzoWUQLY)
      We hope this is helpful to you, but if you have any additional questions, just let us know and we'll be glad to help. Thanks!

      Deborah I’ve been using it continuously for about 15 years because I have Medicaid and where I live no dentist will take that insurance. I’ve never had any problems with it 👍🏻 the only thing is I’ve never been able to get it to work right on my bottom denture but it’s awesome on the top.

    I love dentemp! I'm just wondering did the instructions change from 3 minutes to 15 minutes in the freezer? Anyways, I am still using my temporary teeth because i cant afford the permanent set. They dont fit the best but the reline helps a lot! My local walmart stopped selling in store so now i have to order it. I always have 2 or more for back up. This works better than anything I have tried! Yay for dentemp!

      We're so glad to hear that you love Reline-it as much as we do! Yes, we do now recommend placing the liquid in the freezer for 15 minutes to allow more time to properly mix in the powder before it begins curing. Thanks for choosing Dentemp!
      You can find Reline-it on line either on our website (dentemp.com/products/dentemp-reline-it-denture-reliner) or Amazon (www.amazon.com/Reline-Advanced-Denture-Reliner-Pack/dp/B004QM4UMC/).

    I just heard of this product and I am very excited to try it! I have a top that just doesn’t fit right at all and with a bad dentist I’ve had the worst time trying to get it realigned. So I plan I pick this up today or tomorrow and give it a try! My top has the middle part unlike this one where it’s just the rows of teeth, will it still work okay with these and should I pour a little solution onto it?

    • @dentemp
      @dentemp  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      All great questions! Regarding whether or not adhesive is needed, this is more of a personal preference. Some Reline-It users find that the material creates a secure enough fit that no additional adhesive is needed, while others prefer a slightly more solid bond. Regardless of your experience, it is completely fine to use adhesive with Reline-It. The length of time that it can be worn also depends slightly on the user, but typically, Reline-It will last for several weeks with some users reporting that it lasted them for months. There is no documented limit for how long you can or cannot use Reline-It. Eventually, a professional reline may be required due to the changes in the bone structure of your mouth, but there is no harm in prolonged use of Reline-It.

    My insurance will only cover a flipper - every 5 years. Bottom front 4 teeth. Unfortunately, it’s been almost a year (September 19, 2023) and my dentist keeps saying “you just have to get used to it”. I’ve pretty much begged and pleaded. He said insurance won’t cover any kind of reline, and he just says “it’s expensive, you can’t afford it”. (Yes, I need a new dentist.)
    Anyways, the flipper doesn’t even touch my gums. I have crooked teeth, so it’s difficult getting the flipper in. Once it’s in, it takes a few minutes to get it down where it should be… but, it can’t touch my gums no matter what i try.
    So, my questions…
    Can this product be used on a flipper? I realize I’d be wasting product because, obviously, a flipper doesn’t need as much as a denture.
    Can I start trying to get the flipper in place a minute or two earlier than recommended since it takes a few minutes to maneuver it in?
    At the advice of a friend, I already bought a kit. So, I’m truly hoping it’ll help. I’m tired of saying no to dinner dates and other times when food is involved. I just want it to fit, and to not cut into my gums when I eat - because they do move around a lot once in (up, down, and slanting sideways).

    • @dentemp
      @dentemp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for pointing this out. 3 minutes was originally our recommended minimum time. However as indicated by the video, we are now recommending 15 minutes as it seems to make the process a little easier. The amount of time in the freezer has no effect on the efficacy of the product. This change is being made on our printed instructions, and should be available soon.

      I suspect that the dental industry might have something to do with that warning. But if you’re dentures are causing discomfort, and poorly fitted , some people will use the product, to keep from going to the dentist, and which is my situation pretty much, and even good fitting dentures will eventually not fit as well, because we all lose bone density with time, and probably even gum tissue, so dentures would need refined with time. And they want you to pay the dentist instead of relining them yourself. And that’s what this product is for, but you have to use your own logic, for when to get new dentures, but if get pretty good at relining them yourself where they feel comfortable and with some help with Dental adhesive, you can keep from seeing the dentist for years. But that’s just my opinion & experience, and it may not be good advice for you or anyone else. But so far it’s been working for me. Although, I do have to only eat soup. Only kidding ,😋

    My mistrust with this is you've demonstrated how to mix it how to pour it how this how that, then you lose my trust by using a model with her own teeth? Why not show how on someone who actually lives with the discomfort of dentures

      It works great for me! It's the only thing that has worked for me. Even better than the reline that the dentist used. I have used it more times than I can count. If you follow the instructions, it will work. Sometimes, it just takes some practice. It's the best thing I have found to make my dentures fit tighter and without using any type of adhesive.

    This stuff sucks, there is never enough time to put it in your dentures before it turns into a
    glob of chewing gum consistancy and if you follow directions it will setup before you even think about using it, don't even reply i've tried it countless times always goes bad before time to put in denture

We don’t need someone with a Colgate smile showing us.the hot chic in the video wouldn’t have anything to do w someone that wears dentures. False advertising at its best !

      While we don't have a video produced by our brand to show a first-hand account of using the product, there are a lot of great review videos here on TH-cam by real life users that we have found to be a great reference point on what to expect when using Reline-It. Should you have any questions that we can help answer directly, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at consumeraffairs@doc-brands.com
